"Levi, it's an emergency."

Levi makes his way to his study, still grumbling, "it better be a real emergency, eyebrows."

"You know that French brand that we signed an exclusive deal with ? It appears that the Azumabito Group is negotiating with them too."

"But the deal has been sealed, so what's this about ? If they do breach the contract that has been made, it means we have the right to drive out all of their affiliates from our department stores." Levi stated.

He then hears Erwin sighs from the other side of the line, "I just reviewed the figures with our legal team but the loss on our end will be greater. They boast high sales figures, so-"

"Tch, send me the estimates of the amount of loss along with the data that compares their profits from our department stores with our rival's for the past 3 years. I don't know what Azumabito Group's offers are but they won't take the risk of withdrawing all their brands from our store. I'll have to meet with them again to re-negotiate. It looks like that's what they're after."

"That means we'll have to go to France, huh ?"

"It seems so. Let's leave right away tomorrow." With that, the raven haired man ends the call. His fingers begin to skim through some statistics documents regarding this sudden emergency. As his brain begins to work hard, he.... forgot a certain woman in the living room, who was left with her buttons undone, alone.

Time seems to pass so quickly because by the time Levi finishes his research about the rival company, it's already midnight. He stretches his back and heads to the living room, punching himself internally for forgetting his girlfriend.

'If I go to Paris tomorrow, I won't be seeing Ms. (L/n) for at least a week.. That means I can't just waste the night tonight.'

Guilt washed over him when Levi found (Y/n) already dozing off on the sofa. The bottle of wine that they enjoyed earlier is now empty, well, that explains everything.

'Just when we were in the mood.. She fell asleep, drunk.'

He carefully sat himself on the sofa just right beside her sleeping form. His steel blue eyes admire every inch of her body, worshiping it silently with adoration. Levi thanked the gods up there for creating such a beautiful and amazing human being that's willing to stay by his side. He, deep down, thanked (Y/n)'s late mother, for giving a life to this wonderful woman.

He leans down a little, "Oi brat."

"I have to go on a business trip tomorrow. Once I depart I won't be able to see you for at least a week."

(Y/n) shifts a little, "...hmph." She unconsciously crosses her arms as if she's annoyed.

"If we just let tonight pass like this then you'll be extremely sorry."

"Brat, can you even hear me ?" He clicked his tongue, but then he's shocked by how (Y/n) suddenly snores loudly, "Oi !"

"Mmgh... Jerk."

Levi's jaw dropped to the floor. Did she just curse at him in her sleep ?

'Looks like she's too tired,' the man chuckles to himself before gently picking up her body from the sofa in a bridal style and taking his secretary to his room. Levi tucks her into the bed and put a blanket over her. Then, he places a gentle peck on her forehead before saying his 'good night'. His steel blue eyes then darted to her lips.

'How long do I have to be satisfied with kisses on foreheads ? At this rate I'll be an expert at just that..'

------- The next morning -------

A pair of (e/c) eyes fluttered open slowly, recognizing her surroundings.

(Y/n) abruptly sat up from her position with a slight headache, "why am I..." she then froze. The woman recalls what she did at night. She finished a whole bottle of wine by herself while waiting for Levi to finish his call yesterday, 'holy shit, did I fall asleep, drunk ?'

"I see you're awake brat."

Her eyes almost popped out of her sockets when she heard Levi speak up, he's sitting at the edge of the bed boredly, "Oh my god.. uh.. Did you have a good night sleep, Mr. Ackerman ?'' She rubs her nape.

"No. I didn't get any sleep at all. I had to make sure you fall asleep first."

"What about that call last night ? You took quite a long time, is there something urgent at the office ?"

He sighs, "I have to go on a business trip."

(Y/n) immediately becomes fully awake at the mention of 'trip', "Ah, a business trip ?" Without wasting any second, the woman rushes out of the bed and head to the shower to take a quick rinse and change of clothes. Luckily, she has a few work attire at his place.

After that, the woman then found herself inside Levi's walk-in closet, picking out some dress shirts and blazers for his business trip. It has become her habit to prepare almost everything for him. Just as she was about to pick some neckties, a pair of arms circled her waist along with a toned chest that's pressed against her back. (Y/n) smiles, caressing his arms that's wrapped around her waist, "I've already packed your bags. You need to hurry, or else you'll miss your flight."

"Tch, I won't be seeing you for another week, so I want to hug you for just one more second."

Levi then sighs as he nuzzles his head into the crook of her neck, "How about I take you with me ? I'd really like to pack you in my suitcase right now. I don't want to leave you behind.."

"Oh really ? While you fly in a first class airline, you want me to fly in your cramped suitcase ?" (Y/n) giggled, "and while I'd like to accompany you, I need to stay behind and take care of many things

He goes silent for a while, "is that so..?"

The vice president then does something unexpected. He takes out his phone and snaps a picture of himself, then sends it to (Y/n), "there. Now you can see my face every time you miss me." He then takes a picture of (Y/n), "and this is for me." Unknown to her, Levi uses her photo as his homescreen wallpaper.

(Y/n) nearly laughs at how blunt Levi is saying all of this with a straight face.

"Also, I want you to call me often." He demanded.

"Eh ? Why ?"

"I-I'll miss hearing your voice, brat."

She wheezes, but then Levi frowns, "if you dare to disobey me, I'll punish you."

"And how exactly will you punish me, Mr. Ackerman ?"

Levi then silenced her with his mouth, locking her lips with hers. His tongue begs for entrance, and (Y/n) easily let it explore the cavern of her mouth. His hands rest on her hip and on the back of her head, keeping her in place. He suffocates (Y/n) longer, making the woman whine through the kiss and tap his chest a few times to let him know that she needs to breathe. She could feel him smirking through the kiss.

Just as her knees begin to weaken, Levi pulls away in time and holds her close to his. Flushed up against his perfectly sculpted chest. His steel blue eyes glint in victory as he sees (Y/n)'s still catching her breath.

The vice president leans closer and brushes her nose with his, "that, will be your punishment."

"Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to be punished like this."

(Y/n) suppress her giggle while looking at him. Levi grunts and roll his eyes in amusement before one of his hands trail down and cups the side of her hip softly, "but I'm serious, I need you to call me often. Or at least pick up my calls whenever you could, because I can't stand being away from you for too long."

"Don't worry, of course I will." She cooed, stroking his undercut softly.

"Ms. (L/n)."

"Yes ?"

Levi suddenly becomes silent for a few seconds, "what.. What if you replace me with another man while I'm gone ? What if.."

Fear clouded his eyes as his face slowly became gloomy. The thought of being abandoned and left behind by the one he loves scares him to no end. He had witnessed many people left from his life. Levi has just found the perfect woman for him, if she disappears from his life, then.. a part of him will disappear along with her.

"Hey."

He sets his cold eyes on her. (Y/n) cups both his cheeks in a loving manner, "I'm not going anywhere and I won't have my eyes on anyone, because I belong you, Mr. Ackerman. I'll be right here, waiting for you." She smiles gently.

"You won't... leave me..?"

"Only idiots would leave an amazing man like you."

The CEO sighs in relief. (Y/n) then pulls away from his arms, "Anyways, we shouldn't waste time. I don't want you to be late, Reiner should be ready to take you to the airport right now," she patted his chest, "now go."

Levi manages to kiss her one last time before walking off with his packed suitcase. His girlfriend then trails behind him to escort her boss to the car.

As soon as the car drove off the mansion, Levi relaxed on his seat.

(Y/n) was right, there's no need to worry about her cheating on another man. Because he's hers and she's his. Levi believes that fate has something beautiful planned in a future ahead of them. After all, he made a promise to marry her, about 20 years ago, Levi is not the man to go back on his words.

He just has to wait for the perfect time.

The time when he could finally show the world that (Y/n) (L/n) officially and lawfully belongs to him.
