She whisked the eggs and other ingredients ever so diligently, keeping an eye on the proportions as if her life depends on it. Her eyes travel back and forth from the tablet on the kitchen counter to the bowl before her.

Yes, (Y/n) uses YouTube as her guide to make a 'perfect' breakfast for Levi.

The woman stirs the egg on the frying pan for a few minutes before proceeding to plate the freshly cooked French Omelet carefully with the spatula.

As a human being who doesn't have much in her pocket, (Y/n) is used to eating cheap, instant food. Instant ramen, instant rice, instant everything, you name it. She rarely cooks from scratch since the woman doesn't have much time to do so, her work is always getting in the way.

"Good morning brat."

She whipped her head towards the source of the voice who just greeted her. Her boyfriend is wearing a simple T-shirt which exposes a nice view of his collarbone and neck. For a brief second, (Y/n) has to hold back her urge to plant a hickey on his neck- Wait, that sounds wrong. She quickly snapped out of her dirty thoughts, "o-oh ! I didn't see you there. Good morning sir."

Levi halts in front of the kitchen counter, "why are you making breakfast ?"

"Well, I was just so grateful for you yesterday doing all that for me, so.. I wanted to do something for you as well to return the favor so I made this omelet.."

They both look down on the omelet that (Y/n) just cooked. It looks rather.. unappetizing.

He bluntly pointed at the food, "is this what people mean by repaying good with evil ?"

"Uh..."

(Y/n) inhales sharply, "I apologize, I'll throw it away-" But then Levi snatches the plate from her with a look of disapproval.

"You made this for me, so it's mine. Plus, you shouldn't waste food." He said.

"Let me at least fix that up-"

She was cut off when a cold finger was pressed to her lips to stop her from talking, Levi's stern eyes stared through her soul, "no need to fix anything, as I said, it's mine now. Just like how you belong to me."

(Y/n) wants nothing but to wipe off the smug look on his face as he said that the tips of her ears turn red, "n-nevermind, let's just eat."

A few minutes later, the two found themselves sitting across from each other on a small dining table near the garden. (Y/n) watches as Levi scarfed down the omelet, along with two slices of bread, "have some tea, Mr. Ackerman." She pours a good amount of black tea into Levi's cup.

"Mm, thanks."

The man grabs the cup by the rim before raising it to his lips, but then.. his keen eyes caught something.

The cup has a small crack on it.

(Y/n) seems to notices it, "oh my, do you want to replace the cup, just give me second and I'll bring-"

"It's alright."

"A chipped cup means bad luck for you, right..?" She questioned.

But Levi stays silent, not wanting to admit that it is true.

"It's nice, going to work together like this."

(Y/n) grins as both of them walk out from the mansion, heading to Levi's car. As Levi was about to say something, his girlfriend grimaces in pain and holds on to the wall beside her. (Y/n) bent down her body a little and grasped her foot while wincing.

"Are you alright ?"

"Yes.. Yes, I'm alright." The woman tries to assure him by replacing the look of pain with a smile.

Levi frowns, "did you sprain your ankle ? We should go to the hospital before we head into the office."

"Nope, my ankle's fine. My heel just scratched, that's all," she went silent for a while, "but a scratched heel for me means bad luck." (Y/n) pondered, thinking about how both of them have gotten the sign of bad luck this morning.

On the other hand, Levi seems to be checking at the time.

"Let's go."

"Yeah, otherwise we're gonna be late-"

"I never said we're going to the office right now, brat." he clicked his tongue before beckoning her to follow him to his parked car.

(Y/n) tilts her head as she glances down to look at the time displayed on her phone.

They only have 1 hour left to get into the office, where could Levi possibly want to go at this time ?

Again, the couple sit across from each other, but this time, in a small, quiet cafe.

(Y/n) hums in delight as she chews on a black tea flavored swiss roll cake, served with an iced coffee. As for Levi, he ordered the same.

"Do you love black tea flavor that much ? I thought you hate bitter food and beverages."

She shook her head, "when the flavor comes with something sweet such as cake or candy, I really like it. To me, black tea flavor is like food for my soul. But if I were to drink only plain black tea, I wouldn't be able to stand it."

"Food of your soul ?"

"Mhm. Remember how you gave the last black tea flavored candy to me when we were little ? That would pop up in my mind from time to time. What you did for me back then would always cheer me up every time I think of it." She smiles to herself.

Levi's heart swells with warmth upon her small confession, yet, he chooses not to show it.

"Uh, I have a question I've been meaning to ask.." (Y/n) slowly said, earning a full attention from the man.

He raises his eyebrows.

"Why do you have a certain fear of.. women, when it comes to sexual concepts ?"

The light in Levi's eyes died down, he stirred his iced coffee absentmindedly when he heard (Y/n) asked about his.. fear.

"L-levi dear, please go play outside. I w-will.. ggh !!"

The 6 years old boy who's body almost resembled a skeleton, could only watch his mother writhing in pain as a male did some.. weird movements to her.

And it seemed like every move the man made put his mother in vain.

Chuckling deeply, the man then choked his mother, "Your son, huh ? I see you're playing hero now, whore."

He began calling her dirty names.

Tiny Levi, who didn't understand anything back then, watched as his own mother succumbed to the man who forced everything into her. Out of fear, the pale, skinny hand that belonged to Levi, picked up his mother's dress that fell and grasped it close to his chest.

For the man just tore off his mother's clothes.

At that moment, (Y/n) wants to slap herself so badly. How could she ask about it so casually ? That's considered rude. She then clears her throat, "you don't have to tell me now of course. We've many more days together ahead of us so you can take it slowly."

Silence...

She begins to sweat, 'think, (Y/n) ! Think ! Just get rid of this awkward atmosphere !!'

"By the way," (Y/n) manages to get Levi's attention again, "there's a place I want us to go together."

His eyes sparked interest, (Y/n) was never the one to suggest things, so this is a new one, "a place for us to go together ?"

"Yup !"

Levi blinked in disbelief as he looked around the place.

"So the place you wanted to go was our rival's department store ? Are we here for market research or something ?"

She shook her head, "Nope, I just needed something. But if we go to the Ackerman department store, all the staff there will tense up as soon as they see your presence, so... yeah. You know what I mean."

"What is it that you need brat ?"

"Ah, just right there !" Without thinking twice, (Y/n) jogs into a certain section of the store, dragging her boss behind her while giggling like a five year old. Levi glances down at their intertwined hands, he couldn't help but smile a little since she seems so excited.

They stop in front of several shelves that consist of kitchenware. (Y/n) picked up a grey mug, "how about this ? I wanted to give you a pretty cup as a present."

"P-present ?"

'Fucking shit, I stuttered..' Levi blushes, he never thought that (Y/n) would think about getting him a present.

She nods enthusiastically, "I felt bad about that chipped cup this morning so I wanted to give you a pretty new cup !" (Y/n) beamed. In the end, she's the one to choose the cup for Levi, "um excuse me," she said to a random woman staff, "we'll take this one please, oh ! And this one." (Y/n) picked up a cup that matches Levi's.

The staff nods, retrieving the cups from (Y/n).

"We also have a whole dish set for a lovely lady like you, would you like to take a look at that too ? If I may add, it's really popular among the newlyweds."

(Y/n) sweatdropped, "newlyweds..?"

"We'll take the whole newlyweds set."

She nearly jumps on her feet when Levi suddenly exclaimed that he wanted to buy the set. (Y/n) lightly slaps his shoulder before turning to the staff with an apologetic smile, "no, we'll just take those mugs please."

The staff bows before dismissing herself to process (Y/n)'s order.

"Tch, I want that dish set that's highly popular among the newlyweds. Why can't I buy it ?" Levi crosses his arms as he turns to face his girlfriend, puffing out his cheeks in disappointment.

(Y/n) sighs, "Unnecessary expenditure isn't good even when you're rich." She lectured.

"Why do you think this is unnecessary expenditure ? You've half moved in, you've slept in my place, on the same bed, we ate breakfast together, so aren't we kind of like newlyweds already ? You know that in the future I'll make you my wif-"

"SSSH !! Don't say that out loud !" She shushed him with a flushed face, "stop using that word ! I'm scared someone will hear us."

"Newlyweds ?" He smirks.

(Y/n) throws him a stern look, "I said, no."

She then heads to the cashier to take care of the pair of mugs that she ordered earlier, Levi stands on his spot, unmoving.

'I like her dominant side..'

On their way to the department store parking lot, Levi won't stop holding up the mugs with a satisfied look on his face, "I like these very much. The idea of you getting matching cups for us is a brilliant one."

"Yeah.. you should put them in already. What kind of person walks around while holding newly purchased cups ?"

(Y/n) offered him the paperbag but Levi moved those cups away from her reach, "no. I'm going to look at them some more. This is our first time owning something that matches."

"Oh.." He stops in his tracks, "that's right. I also thought hard about your jinx and came up with some possible solutions."

"Really ?"

"Yes. Number one, have all employees come to work in sneakers. That way, you won't need to wear heels again and you won't end up with scratched heels."

She blinked, "all employees in sneakers.. I think that's going a bit overboard-"

"Number two, minimize your walking," Levi cuts her off, "for my girlfriend's safety, I'll supply you with a car and chauffeur."

"Uh.. isn't that too much-"

"Number three, I also got you pretty new shoes, so that you can forget all about your jinx in your new shoes. I don't want us to be tied down by jinxes, as long as we're together, it should be all fine."

The secretary couldn't help but smile a little, she never thought that Levi could be this type of person, "I think the last solution is the acceptable one compared to those two."

"Good. We should get going now to buy your shoes. I'll buy everything you want."

Her smile quickly dropped, "I thought I told you already, that unnecessary expenditure isn't good. I'm going to get just one pair, alright ?"

"Tch, fine.. I won't act like a 'rich boy' then."

Without further words, Levi inserts the mugs into the paper bag and intertwines his hand with (Y/n) as they head to the car with relaxed faces. Ready to go to another store to buy (Y/n)'s shoes, then after that, they'll head to the office.

It's a rather hectic day in the Ackerman company.

Sasha spills her coffee over Armin's newly printed reports, making the blonde faint. Followed by Eren who quarreled with Jean in the middle of a meeting. Then, Hanji had to hand in a bunch of written proposals to Levi, which got scattered in the middle of the corridor. Everything was a mess today.

And here he is, the vice president of the Ackerman company, at 11.13 PM, sitting in his comfy living room with his girlfriend who just got off from work. Accompanied with two glasses of wine.

"I'm glad I could be honest with you about everything that happened today in the office." He mumbled. Levi has just finished ranting about the shitty day to his girlfriend, who listened to him patiently and sitting by his side.

She smiles, "of course, there's nothing better than being honest."

"Do you really think so ?"

Levi turns to her, putting his glass down, "then..." His steel blue eyes bore into her, "can I be honest.. about how I feel right now ?"

"..huh ?"

His actions decide to explain it to her. Levi leaned towards his secretary and crashed his lips into hers without a warning, his left hand resting on the back of her head, deepening the kiss. Without hesitation, he slowly pushes her further into the sofa, trapping her body underneath his. Levi starves for her touch as much as (Y/n) does.

The man then pulls away softly as he pushes up his body a bit to take a better look of his girlfriend who's softly gasping for air.

"I don't want tonight to be just another night."

With that, he dives down for another heated kiss. His tongue swirls inside her mouth hungrily, craving for every inch of her. Still with closed eyes, Levi's hand makes its way to (Y/n)'s blouse, slowly unbuttoning it..

Levi pulls away and peered down at his phone on the table.

The man rolled his eyes before going back to plant his lips on (Y/n) again, continuing their bliss session. But then..

Levi is only a mere seconds away from throwing his phone to a nearby wall. This time, (Y/n) gently pushes her boyfriend off from her, "Take it, it could be something urgent." She knows that no matter what it is, work must be prioritized, even if she has to set aside her own needs.

"It better be.." Levi growls, "if it's not, he'll be moving out of his office tomorrow."

He gives (Y/n) one last peck before storming out of the living room and answering the call.

'Erwin you fucking cockblock.. I'm gonna pluck out your eyebrows and make you eat them one by one.'
