Chapter Twenty-one: It's My Party And I Can Cry If I Want To

"Princess wake up!" Reed yells excitedly, shaking me. I groan and pull the covers over my head. All I want to do is sleep. "Please! It's already twelve! Your party is going to start in an hour!"

Knowing I need to get up and shower I give in and open my eyes. Reed's gray eyes are the first thing I see. He smiles. "Good morning Princess~" he leans down and quickly presses his lips to mine.

"Good morning." I grumble. "Why are you laying on me?" Reed hugs me tight, burying his face into my neck. This kinda freaks me out simply because Reed usually isn't very cuddly.

"Because I love you." He says into my neck, kissing it softly. My eyes close once again as he continues to mess with my very sensitive neck. I moan softly as his kisses turn to soft nips. He smirks then pulls away. "You should probably get a shower."

Glaring, I wiggle out from under him and stand up. Then I notice something. "The hell happened to my shirt?" I can clearly remember having a soft green t-shirt on when I fell asleep last night, now I stand shirtless with a smirking Reed staring at my naked chest.

"You looked hot last night so I took it off you." He answers with an amused tone.

"Oh yeah I bet I was so 'hot' last night when you took my shit off." I try sounding annoyed but I crack a small smile.

Reed sits up, cross legged, and grins. "I was going to get your pants off too, but then I would have had to waken you up."

It takes a moment for me to realize what he's saying but when I do my cheeks heat up. "I'm going to take a shower, pervert." I grab a spare change of clothes, knowing if I came back in her wet with only a towel on Reed would surely jump me. I'm saving that stuff for tonight. Heh.

"I'll miss you~" Reed chimes as I walk out of my room, clean clothes in hand.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOOU!" My three best friends and parents sing, cheering when they're finished. Steve is leaning against the counter with a bored expression on his face, not really paying attention.

"Alright sweetie, blow out the candles and make a wish!" My mom takes a quick picture before I blow out all the candles. However I can't think of anything to wish for because right now my life seems perfect. There's nothing more I could ever want.

"What did you wish for?" Ethan asks, staring hungrily at the cake. I don't blame him, this cake looks terrible delicious- it's my favorite type, strawberry with vanilla icing.

"Nothing." I admit, cutting the first slice and passing it to him. I don't think Ethan even listened because as soon as I hand him the cake he begins scarfing it down.

"Why didn't you ask for anything?" Reed asks curiously. He's sitting to my left while Ethan and Josie are to my right. Next to Reed is my mom and then dad sits at the other end.

"Because," I smile at him, "I have everything I could have asked for." The same guilty look from before gleams in Reed's eyes. I try ignoring it but I can't help but to feel like something very wrong is going happen.

"Well son, why don't you start opening up your presents?" Dad points to the small pile of cheerfully wrapped gifts. Nodding slowly, I pick the fist one up. "That one is from your mother." He remarks.

I smile and little and begin peeling off the paper. My eyes widen when I realize what it is. "Thank you so much!" I finish taking off the paper and grin down at the set of drawing pencils and sketchbooks.

"You like them?" She asks me. "I got the right ones, right?"

Knowing these were some of the best and most expensive pencils you could get at the art store I nod excitedly. "Yeah! I've been wanting these for forever!"

After opening the rest of my presents, which included random things such as colored pencils, books, and posters, I realize I hadn't opened a present from Reed. Confused I glance over at him. "Where's yours?"

He takes a breath and pulls a folded up piece of paper from his pocket. He unfolds it then stands. "Dear Caleb-"

"Reed!" I cut him off then glance at my parents. Now is not the time to read me a letter!

"Caleb!" My mom snap. "Let him continue." I groan and sit back in my chair.

"Remember the day at the fair when I told you I lied? I was telling the truth all along. The only reason I lied was to get you to feel sorry for me. It worked." He pauses and smirks at me.

"W-what?" I stutter, not believing what I'm hearing. "You lied?!"

He smiles mockingly then goes back to his letter. "Now I'm sure you remember what happened the night before, it's the whole reason I had to make up that little lie."

Please don't say what I think you're going to say...

"I'll admit princess, you're good at giving head and spending your legs whenever I ask-" Mom gasps "- but you should really know who you're giving it up to."

I feel my eyes tearing up. Why is he saying all of this stuff? In front of all my friends and family too? "R-Reed?" I look up at him with watery eyes. "W-why are you-"

"Do you know how hard it is trying to picture someone else while fucking you? But I'm glad you gave it all up to me. I was your first for everything. Hopefully now you know dorks like you don't need to mess with guys like-"

I'm too caught up in my tears to realize what happens next. All I hear is a thud, my mother's scream, followed another loud thud and a groan.
