*ONE MONTH LATER (when school starts)*

Ugh the summer went by too fast! Now it was time for my last year of high school, and the saddest part was that I wasn't gonna see Ryder for seven hours a day. Riely, Violet and I transferred to a new highschool just for werewolves from our pack and they all knew that I was Ryder's mate and I was Luna. Good thing is that Piper, Violet, Riely and I had all the same classes. Even though Riely is human she still got to go to the same school. anyways over the past month, I mastered my gift, Riely and Zander completed the mating process and were sewn at the hip for most of that month, the rouges didn't bother us anymore, and Ryder and I grew even closer, and I was getting more comfortable completing the process with him.

Today was the day before school started so the girls and I were going clothes shopping. We went to Macy's, forever 21, h&m, khols, JCPenny, and Areopastle.

I got ten dresses, fifty shirts, fifty five shorts, ten pairs of jeans, five shorts overalls, three jackets, one more leather jacket, three beanies, one fedora, five snapbacks, two Seminoles sweatshirts, and about three pairs of knee length boots, five pairs of high tops, three pairs of sandals, six heels, two combat boots, and that's it.. for me. We all got like the same thins but we got more things that others in some areas of clothes, like Riely got the most dresses, Violet got the most jeans, and Piper got the most shirts. So yeah.

We spent most of the day shopping like seriously we went to the mall at 11:00 am and didn't get back until 7:00 pm. No joke.

I was tired as hell and did not feel like doing anything and Ryder was tired as well from doing Alpha stuff, same with Zander and Jace. Luke played video games all day, lucky. I changed out of my clothes and put on a baggy blue tank top t shirt and put on some grey sweatpants that went a little below my knee. I crawled into bed and spread out like a starfish and took up most of the bed. Ryder want having any of this so he picked me up and laid down the put me down.

I snuggled up to him and fell asleep.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!" My alarm clock screeched.

"UGHHH we have to get that fixed." I groaned as I rolled over and hit the off button.

"I will babe, I promise." Ryder said and kissed my cheek.

"Good." I said and got out of bed to get ready. I took a quick shower and straightened out my hair. i picked out light washed, ripped Jean short shorts with studs on the pockets and a dark floral bustier crop top, with my black leather jacket, and white high top converse. I put on a black beanie and grabbed my brown leather purse/backpack.

I walked out of the closet to actually find Ryder dressed. Weird. I put on light make up, then sprayed on vanilla perfume.

"Why are you dressed? Shouldn't you be sleeping in?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah but who else will drive you to school, and walk you to classes and eat lunch with you?" Ryder said and I hugged him then kissed him.

"Your so sweet you know." I said and he smiled.

"Let's go eat." He said grabbing my hand and we walked downstairs.

"Hey guys." I said when I saw Just Violet Piper and Riely.

"Where are the guys?" I asked and I all got the answer sleeping. They were all ready to go, Riely had on a pink summer dress that was strapless and went mid thigh and had a grey cardigan on with brown knee length boots. Piper had on a black tank top and light ripped jeans with brown combat boots. Violet had on a dark purple high low shirt with black leggings and tan sandals with a red and black plaid fedora.

"Wanna ride to school with us?" Riely asked.

"No, Ryder was gonna drive me. maybe tomorrow." I said and they agreed.

"I wish my mate would get his lazy ass out of bed and drive me to school." Piper complained.

We all laughed and walked out to our cars. Ryder drove me in my Lamborghini , and the girls drove in Luke's neon green mustang. Violet and Ryder pretty much raced each other to school, but we won.

I got stares when Ryder opened up my door for me, when we got to the campus.

"You sure you want to walk me to all my classes." I said turning around to face him.

"Yes I'm sure, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't." Ryder said trying to reassure me.

"Ok but you don't have to do it all the time. I'll be ok by myself." I said and we agreed.

We walked up the steps and I got my locker all set up, which was right next to Piper, Riely, and Violet. We al grabbed our books for first period and Ryder as promised walked me to my class.

"See you at lunch. Love you." I said kissing his cheek and walking in to sit down.

"Looks like we have three new students." The chemistry teacher said as we walked in.

"Yup, this is Mackenzie, Riely, and Violet Mr. Alac." Piper exclaimed. I did a little wave, looks like no one knew I was Luna yet. Awesome!

"Nice to meet you girls. Mackenzie you can sit with Brad, Riely you an sit with Piper, and Violet you can sit with Trisha." Mr. Alac explained.

I walked over to my seat and put my things down.

"Hey I'm Brad." He said cooly with a smirk plastered on his face. I ignored him and listened to the lecture that Mr. Alac was talking about.

"I said hey, the preferred response is a hey or hi or even how's it going." He said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and looked over to Violet who was snickering. I made a water ball and threw it at her getting her soaked.

"Who did that!" Mr. Alac snapped. He looked around the room, Piper and Riely both glanced at me and I held back a laugh.

"What's so funny Ms. Black?" He asked his eyes meeting mine.

"Oh nothing sir." I said and he turned back around to the board. I giggled a little and mind linked Violet.

'don't mess with me.' I said.

'Whatever.' Violet huffed.

I shut off the link and looked back at the teacher.

"So are you gonna say hi to me or just ignore me. Mackenzie." Brad smirked.

"Oh how rude of me, Hi." I said sarcastically. The bell rang and I hurried out of the class. I went up to my locker but right as I opened it, someone slammed it shut.

"So Mackenzie, your new here right? Well you need to back off my boyfriend." A little brunette said. She screamed slut. A hot pink mini skirt, and a tight black tank top with pink heels. Painted on make up and needle straight hair.

"Oh I'm sorry Barbie, but that little mistake of a boyfriend you have DOESt interest me. I have a mate." I said opening my locker again.

"Oh and do the pack a favor and leave me alone, you don't wanna become a Popsicle right." I said and her eyes widened.

"That's what I thought. Byee." I said and she stormed off.

"Wow you told her off." Riely said walking up to me.

"Thank the lord for water." I said and twirled a little water ball around in my fingers.

"You might want to put that away before Mr. Alac finds out you were the one throwing water balls at people." Someone whispered huskily into my ear. I turned around to see Brad. I quickly put it away.

"Hi brad, what do you want?" I said getting a little annoyed.

"I just wanted to make sure that your getting used to the school." He said.

"Well there are a lot of new people here, it is the first day, so maybe you should check up on your girlfriend." I said motioning over to the girl who was just talking to me.

"You mean Taylor, yeah we aren't dating, she wishes we were." Brad said, but I didn't really care.

"Hey Brad you might wanna stay away from this girl, she has a mate and he happens to be YOUR alpha." Piper said walking up from behind Brad. His eyes snapped to mine and I smirked.

"Whatever." He said and walked away.

"Thanks for the save Piper I didn't know what I was gonna say." I said and gave her a hug.

"No prob, I got yo back." She said and we laughed.

"Come on, I want to get this day over with." Riely said. We met up with Violet, who was signing up for some club.

It was now lunch time, and Ryder met me at my locker. Surprisingly so did Jace, Zander, and Luke.

"You actually got them to come out of the house!?" I said faking shocked.

"Yeah, now let's get to Lunch." Ryder said and wrapped his arm around my waist. We sat down at a table with Riely, Zander, Piper, Jace, Violet and Luke.

"What did you do while we were gone?" I asked.

"Nothing, but Ryder kept complaining about not being near you." Zander spoke up and Ryder shot him the death glare.

"Awe that is so cute baby." I said looking up at Ryder and I kissed his cheek. I intertwined our fingers.

"What about you guys, how was your first day?" Luke asked.

"A guy flirted with Mack!" Violet said but then hid behind Luke.

"What!" Ryder said snapping his head down to look at me.

"Nothing. It was nothing. I took care of it Ryder." I said trying to calm him down.

"Who was it! I will rip him to shreds!" Ryder yelled and people started staring. His eyes glazed over and they turned black.

"Ryder calm down." I said putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Get away Mack, I'm finding the boy who tried to flirt with you." He growled in an extremely deep voice.

"Woah, who is that!" I asked and looked at Piper.

"His wolf Jasper. He just took control." Piper said and I scooted away.

Ryder's head kept looking around until he stopped. I looked in the direction he was looking in and sure enough it was Brad. Ryder got up from m the table.

"Ryder stop." I said attempting to stop him but It wasn't working.

"Stay away from my mate!" He growled. He was about five feet away from Brad an I could see the fear in his eyes. I ha enough. I got up from the table and used my hands to make a wall of water in front of Ryder. My arms were stretched out holding up the wall and I heard gasps. I moved my palms upward an the water disappeared. I ran up to Ryder and saw that his eyes were back to normal.

I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"I told you that i had it handled." I said and gave him a light peck on the lips. I intertwined our fingers and we walked back to our table, avoiding the states from the frightened students.
