Hi, my name is Millie, I'm fourteen years old, I have been in and out of foster homes since I was 4 years old. My mum didn't want me and my dad left me because he didn't want to take care of a sick child. What I mean by by "sick" is that I have got something wrong with my lungs and I struggle to breathe sometimes so I always have to wear a nasal cannula which is connected to a portable oxygen concentrator.

Every foster home or group homes I've been to, the social workers have pulled me out of them and put in another one. I haven't lasted four months in one before being dragged out. Until I met this couple who wanted to foster me and it changed a bit of my life.

They are called Kristy and Steve and have three kids a ten year old, Bella, a fourteen year old, Shannon and a son who is sixteen, Philip
