You woke up to your boyfriend laying right next to you with his head on your chest and his arms wrapped around your waist. You push his hair out of his face and place kisses all over his face.
"good morning baby boy," you said softly
"Baby I don't feel good." he whispered
"what's wrong?" you asked
"My body hurts, and I feel like I'm in an oven." You got up from the bed and open the window and walked to the kitchen to get a cooled rag. when you walk into the room, Nate opened his arms and did grabby hands.
" I got you a cold rag but we don't have anything to give you I'm sorry," you said with a sad smile
"it's ok, I just want cuddles." you moved into the spot right next to him. after a few minutes, the sounds of Nate's light snoring filled the silent room. You got up and walked to the kitchen to start making some soup for when she gets up.
"BABE!?" the sounds of Nate yelling filled the silent house and made you jump out of your skin. You ran to the room to see Nate sitting up on the bed looking in pain.
"what's wrong!" you said worried that Nate was hurt
"I didn't know where you had gone, you scared me." he says as he yawns
"oh, I'm sorry I was making you some soup." Nate go up from the bed and walked to the living room and sat at the table that was in front of the TV.
"sweetheart, what are you doing?" you asked
"Even if I'm sick I will still get up and out the room just to eat your soup!" he says with a smirk

"ok well, it's almost done so just sit there and watch some TV I guess," you said as you walked into the kitchen
When you finished making the soup you walked into the living room and put a bowl of soup in front of him.
"Thank you, baby girl."
"You welcome baby boy." You sit on the sofa behind him and eat your soup and watch TV with him. You and Nate spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching TV, and that night was the first time in a long time that you prayed, and you prayed that you will never lose Nate.

The Pet Dragon
Reborn as a dragon and stumbling through the world the MC feels rather disadvantaged. This story is a writing challenge for myself for fun and I'll start with one chapter every day though they might not be particularly long. I did not plan anything out but I have ideas. Freeform was supposed to be this but my ideas were too complicated and I couldn't keep myself from overthinking it. Well, that failed. I will resume this story at a later date.

I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room
The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it."Absurd. Existential. Ridiculous. Tragic. Comic. The antiheroes of "I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room" are a kind of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with space packs, inadvertently colliding with their destinies against a starry background of witty wordplay. With a vision as sprawling and limitless as the loveably goofy universe in which it's set, Browning's wit, wisdom and heart are always at play, combining to form a wonderfully panoramic and very silly heroes' journey that visits every trope of its overlapping genres and draws moustaches on all of them."- Marcel St. Pierre, author of "Vengeful Hank" and "Cliché and Wind Go Hitchhiking".(Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed! I am not very good with tags and such so please do suggest whatever you think is right and please tell me if there is any big plothole.

The Light in Death
Set in a modern city where Jesse Gil narrates his experience running a business capitalizing on his ability to heal any affliction — even death. He's forced to take on a student, Shawn Ellison, a spoiled college dropout who awakens abilities of his own, to prevent him from accidentally killing himself. As a result, Jesse must become more than just a healer. He'll need to master his power over energy: the fuel for life, the soul, and magic. I'm uploading the initial draft of each chapter so people can follow along with the story as I complete the manuscript. I'm hoping to gather interest, and potentially attract an editor. After going back to revise and edit; I will self-publish it.
