Okay. So I know I suck. Sorry about that. I wrote this like last summer while on a plane so if it sucks then deal with it. I fixed it up so it should be fine.

A/N: No one knows that Peter is Spider-Man besides Ned.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Peter Parker. Queens neighborhood Spider-Man. He was the vigilante that some loved, while others hated. He had stopped a few attempted muggings, robberies, even helped an old lady cross the road during his time as a hero.

Ned, who was Peter's best friend was the one person who knew of his alter ego. He had found out when Peter came into his bedroom drawing on the wall in order to get back in undetected. Ned has noticed and once Peter told him, there was a lot of questions. Like, too many questions. Ned then became Peter's Chair Man. He would give Peter information about crimes that were happening and were a good team.

MJ, she was a newer friend to the group but was as sarcastic as ever. She was artistic in a way, considering she drew people in a crisis. Peter suspected that MJ was suspicious of him being Spider-Man but he shrugged it off.

And Tony Stark. Peter looked up to him. He was smart and an amazing hero. Stark had given him a suit after he literally died when he saw how "horrible" Peter's suit was. The man had tried to get Peter to give his identity but he never learned it. When Peter got back he hacked through the suit himself and got rid of all trackers.

Peter's alarm clock stopped his thoughts and he really had to try to not push the snooze button, but he had remembered how many times he had come close to being late. He got dressed and made sure his suit was hidden away in his bag. He ran down stairs and grabbed a banana and started out the door, " Peter?" Peter stopped in his tracks and turned to see May in a robe with tired eyes. "Hey May, I'm leaving a bit earlier today, don't wanna be late again." May walked up to him and kissed his forehead. "Have a good day." Peter walked out of the apartment complex and started to walk.

Peter got to school barely in time. He and Ned talked of the new LEGO set on their way to class. He proved Flash Thompson wrong multiple times during AP Chemistry, even though he knew he was just raising the boys temper. Peter got his usual shoved into locker special(though it wasn't much of a special anymore) and was even able to embarrass Flash during Decathlon earning multiple snickers, even from Michelle.

He ran out as soon as the bell rang, ready to get on patrol, when his spider senses went off the chart. All he saw was a quick glimpse of a man as he jumped out of the way before getting hit on the head with a bat. 'Holy shit. That guy was totally trying to take me down' he thought. Spider-Man started to run over multiple buildings, and swinging down to an ally, hopefully losing the man. Peter asked Karen what time it was, not realizing that if he didn't get home soon he would be cutting it close with his curfew. He really didn't need May catching him.

He was going to head back in the direction of his house when a large bang rang out. Then a wave of pain coursed throughout Peter's abdomen.

Peter looked down at his make-shift suit as a dark red shade had started to spread. 'Damn, so that's what it feels like to be shot.' he thought. Peter thought of going to a hospital but decided against it for multiple reasons. First, he didn't need his identity getting out. Second, his blood was half-spider and he didn't want to be an experiment. And third, he hated hospitals.

Peter was starting to feel dizzy from blood loss and stated to stumble to the nearest building. He quickly took off his suit, and threw it into his bag and put on his clothes from earlier. He didn't want his identity known. Peter's bosom was fuzzing over and over. His head was getting light. He saw fancy sliding glass doors right before before passing out.

The Avengers were sitting in the lounge arguing over which movie to watch, when FRIDAY spoke up,Tony rolled his eyes, he knew this trick. Someone would 'pass out' then be brought in only to get pictures and autographs.

"Friday? Tell them to get off my property." Tony replied curtly.

That's what caught Bruce's attention. He ran off, calling Steve to help him. Steve stood up quickly, following Bruce to the elevator. Natasha and Clint now looked more serious considering that they had stopped arguing. Sam had gone to the Med Bay to set up in case their new patient needed it.

Steve and Bruce had suddenly burst into the Med Bay with the unconscious, limp form in Steve's arms. Sam and Bruce had took the person into a room sealing the other Avengers away from the many answers to their questions.

Tony, being the inpatient one spoke up first, "Friday? What are the injuries?"

FRIDAY responded,

Bruce and Sam finally walked out after about an hour, with their patient finally being stable. All the Avengers were quiet.

Sam was the one to speak up first, "Bruce identified him with FRIDAY'S help. He's a 15 year old. Names Peter Parker. Lives in Queens with his aunt.

Natasha had clenched her fist when she heard the age of the young boy that had just been shot. No child should have to go through this.

~45 minutes later~ (timeee skip brought by Jimmy who failed my friend at making a sandwich in subway.)

————————————————————————

Friday spoke up starting the Avengers, Bruce looked shocked. "Already? That was fast!" All the Avengers had pushed into the room and got their first look at the boy. He obviously looked young. His hair was a light brown color with little curls at the tips. He had big, doe brown eyes filled with innocence but had a tinge of protectiveness in them. Tony could tell the kid was scared. I mean he was in a unknown room with the Avengers.

"Umm.. hi?" The kid spoke so quietly it was hard to catch. Bruce walked up slowly not to scare the boy, " Hi Peter, I'm Bruce." Peter looked at him with confused eyes. They suddenly widened and he broke into a huge grin. " Your Bruce Banner! I love your work!!" Bruce stepped back, looking astonished. One the kid who had just been shot was sitting up, and was completely alert, and two he was someone who cared about him, not the hulk.

Tony was the next one to speak up. "So, you like science?" Peter nodded as he took in his surroundings of the multiple people around him. As they each asked their questions, Peter answered with excitement. After about 30 minutes, Peter started to stand up causing a very quick Steve to run over and push him back down, " Not yet son, you need to rest."

"But I feel fine."

Steve sighed. "Just..go to sleep, okay? Peter nodded and laid down as Steve left the kid and closed the door.

The next morning Peter was gone.

Peter had gone back to school that week, again bullied by Flash, and was able to hang out with Ned quite a bit. His wound had healed a few days before, and he was walking towards his apartment when a woman in a very professional outfit who was standing at the door noticed him. "Are you Peter Parker?"

Peter nodded back. "Good. I need to come with me." Peter stared at her in confusion. She must've noticed his look, so she answered, "It's about May". That caught Peter's attention. He let the woman into the apartment. They sat in silence for a bit before she spoke up. "I'm very sorry Mr. Parker. But your aunt has passed away." Peter looked at her, eyes wide. "What-how...please no."

"I'm sorry Peter, but I'm not sure. You will be staying at an orphanage until you are adopted or taken in by a family due to you being underage. Again, I'm sorry for your loss". Peter couldn't move. He couldn't breathe. May was all he had left. He started to cry as he was brought in to the orphanage. He put his stuff under his new bed and sobbed.

A while later, the head of the orphanage came in. She told him that instead of letting families in due to past incidents the kids here made videos about themselves that adults would watch and choose to adopt. He nodded and made his video. It's not like anyone would want a teen anyways.

~time skip~

He had been there for 2 weeks, when a woman knocked on the door, "Peter? Someone has chosen to adopt you. I'm going to take you to your new home." Peter looked up at her. He never expected to be adopted. He was confused but followed her to a car. He looked at the window hoping at a chance of having a family.

————————————————————————

Tony had talked to the team for awhile. He wanted to see how the kid was doing. He felt like they had bonded last time he was here.

"Friday? Do you have anything on Peter Parker?"

He had asked a few days before, and didn't expect any different answer.

Tony was shocked. This happy, full of life kid was now in a orphanage. Tony thought of taking the kid in. He knew the kid would be in danger and he would be swarmed by the paparazzi, but he called the team to the main room. After 5 minutes the team had decided to adopt Peter. It took a few calls but he was able to get custody of the kid. The team waited at the front door, waiting for their newest family member.

Peter stood at the front doors of Avengers Tower. He was confused, he had escaped out the window only 2 and a half weeks ago. The woman who had driven him here must of noticed his nervousness, so she spoke up, "Your not in trouble Peter" she gave a light laugh, " The Avengers have decided to take you in. It's amazing isn't it?"

Peter didn't have the words. He had thought no one would adopt a 15 year old boy. Guess he was wrong. Maybe they made a mistake. He wasn't supposed to be here. Peter slowly started to back up towards the car when the Avengers walked out. ( Tony Stark, Steve Rodgers, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, Vision, Wanda Maximoff, and Clint Barton).

They welcomed him with open arms, Wanda was excited to have another teen in the house. Tony and Bruce were overjoyed when Peter accepted to help them in the labs. Steve and Natasha said they would train him to keep him safe, while Clint told Peter he would share secret hiding places. They walked through the front when a voice ran out,

Peter knew that this was FRIDAY, Tony's AI. "Um.. just Peter would be alright"

Tony flung his arm around Peter and took him up to his room. It was amazing. The ceiling was so high up (Peter would have fun climbing up the walls), his huge tv sat on the wall across from his king sized bed. He had his own desk and books were already piled high in the shelf. His closet was full of designer clothes as well. "M-Mr. Stark, this is too much" Peter stuttered out. Tony laughed, " Kid, this is nothing. I promise. Also call me Tony."

Over the next few months Peter really started to call this place home. His new family was amazing, annoying at times, but were people who couldn't see his life without.

School was the same. He hadn't told Ned about his family (who they actually were) and Flash still bullied him. Peter would try to ignore him, even though he really wanted to punch Flash but considering he had super strength he didn't want to hurt anyone. Peter was really enjoying his life, he had everything he ever wanted, a happy family. Just like with Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Peter finally felt happy again.

//:Time Skip:\

Peter had been living with the Avengers for almost a year. His birthday was coming up in the next month. He hoped they wouldn't make a big deal about it. He walked down to breakfast, had his usual buffet with the others, went to school, and came home and did his homework. Around dinner time, Clint ran into his room scaring Peter, "Sorry Pete, you should come up to the lounge. We're playing Uno. Warning: we are competing." Clint ran back out.

Peter sighed and rolled off the bed and started off the elevator. When the elevator stopped, he stepped out and sat in the large circle in the middle of the room. Sitting next to Tony and Natasha he knew one of them would get hurt tonight. His punishment would probably be the silent treatment for a while but that was usually it. Last time, Tony tried to persuade him to sabotage Steve in Janga. Guess it was Tony's turn to lose to Peter Parker. The game started off, the usual yelling when one was given a 4+ card. Peter's turn was nearing, when he noticed Tony only had one card. He had kept his 4+ card for this moment. Tony's face was full of excitement, knowing he was about to win. "Sorry Tony" Peter said as he placed his card down. Tony's face changed instantly. He jumped up and pointed to Peter "PETER STARK, HOW DARE YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THAT. OHHH YOU ARE IN SOOO MUCH TROUBLE YOUNG MAN!" Tony hadn't realized what he had said. Peter's face went bright red as the other Avengers bursted with laughter.

"W-what are you all laughing about?" Tony's face was now placed with confusion. "Oh, ohh. Shoot, sorry kid. I didn't mean too" his face was now red from embarrassment. Tony started off to the elevator, but Peter stood up quickly responding " no, no. It's fine Tony. I kinda like it actually. If you don't mind, I don't mind being Peter Stark." Tony's face lit up immediately. "really?" "Yeah!" Tony ran over to the boy and pulled him in for a hug. The SuperFamily didn't hesitate and joined in. Guess he was Peter Stark now. He smiled at the thought.

————————————————————————

Peter Stark, now 16 has just crept back through his window after a quick patrol. His family still didn't know about him being Spider-Man. He didn't want to tell them. They would freak. FRIDAY promised Peter that his secret would be safe unless Mr. Stark asked.

Peter stumbled into his room. He had gotten a hard blow to the head, after getting thrown into a wall.

"No! No! Friday, I'm fine." He had hoped Friday had gotten the message, but his hope died quickly when Tony ran into him room. "PETER! FRIDAY said you had a concussion. Are you okay? How did you even get a concussion? Why aren't you answering me. PETER?" Peter hated life right now.

Whenever he had a bruise, his family would rush him to see Bruce or Sam and get him checked out. "Dad. I'm fine. I just fell. I'll be okay". Tony calmed down at that, but still decided to keep him from school the next day. Peter had started to call him Dad and the other Avengers aunts and uncle. Pepper was also slowly starting to be called Mom.

-2 days later-

Peter came home from school expecting his family waiting for him in the lounge. But, they weren't there. He walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge

Hey Peter,

Just going on a quick mission. Should be back soon. See you later kid.

-Tony

Okay. Peter shrugged. He sat at the table and did his homework. Checked it twice. Read 3 books. Watched a movie and his family still weren't home. Guess a quick walk around town wouldn't hurt. He left the tower only to be hit on the head hard and fell into the world of unconsciousness.

————————————————————————

Tony woke up, his head pounding. He turned to the side only to see his fellow teammates chained to chairs. He pulled his arms to get up, but his restraints held him down. Great. He just wanted to see Peter. He saw Steve pull at his chains too, but no luck. Bruce was still knocked unconscious, probably to keep him from Hulking out. He saw Natasha working on her chains, it may take a while but at least she was working to unlock them.

"Well, well, who do we have here. The mighty Avengers. Fun. But I'm not here to hurt you." A voice came from the speaker above. He saw the confused looks of the other Avengers. Tony yelled at the speaker, " What do you want then?!"

"You see Mr. Stark. This is a trap. I was able to lure a special someone, and then boom! Out like a light. Just wanted to see his daddy." The voice laughed.

Tony started to pull at his restraints harder. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SON!" Tony's face was flushed with anger, hatred, and worry. Natasha was working at her lock faster, she was scared for her nephew. Then the door flung open and a man walked in, a limp form over his shoulder, clearly Peter. His family sat in silence. The man sat Peter down and chained him as well. " Get the other chains. These won't hold." Tony was confused. Peter was just a kid. Tony's chains were holding him. Thor and Steve had special chains designed for their strength. "Which one?" another man replied. "The ones that Captain America has". They took off the old chains and placed new ones on.

————————————————————————

Peter woke up. His head hurt pretty bad, and he could feel his wrists were tied down, but whatever they gave him, he couldn't open his eyes. He was just so tired. "Peter? Peter, please. Wake up. I need to know your okay." He knew that voice. It was Tony. He wanted to say he was okay. But he couldn't. He let darkness take him again.

A few hours passed. Bruce and Peter both showed no signs of waking. Steve was the first to break the silence, "Why did they give Peter that same chains as me? He's just a kid," Tony had wondered the same thing. His kid was perfectly normal, right? Unless they did something to him. Ohhh, they would pay for that. Natasha said she had almost finished breaking her chains.

After a few minutes Tony heard he sound of an open lock. Natasha slowly stood up and walked over to Steve. Now that she wasn't completely tied down, she could pick the lock in seconds. After getting Steve out, she moved to Tony. Once his restraints were removed he ran to Peter, checked for any injuries. He seemed okay. Tony breathed a sigh of relief. Natasha had freed Clint, Sam, Wanda, Vision, Bruce, and then Peter.

Steve threw Bruce over his shoulder and Tony did the same to Peter. Natasha was able to get the code to the locked door and knocked out some guards on the other side. They ran. Once out of the facility, Tony called Pepper. "Hey Pepper. Yes... I know I said dinner tonight.....sorry. Kinda got held up. I'll send you my location...why?....I'll tell you later. Just send the QuinJet. Please." He hung up.

It took around 30 minutes for the jet to arrive, they all climbed on placing Peter and Bruce on stretchers. Sam said nothing was wrong. Just a very strong medicine. Tony held Peter's hand the whole time. That night, Tony didn't leave Peter all night. Sure he was tired, but he wasn't going to leave his son.

————————————————————————

Bruce woke up first. He said Peter seemed fine. "Hey Bruce? Can you check Peter's DNA? I think they did something similar to Cap. I just want to make sure." Bruce gave him a confused look but did it anyway.

"Tony? You may want to look at this.."

Peter's DNA wasn't even normal. It was merged, Bruce didn't know with what yet. Tony had never felt so angry in his life. They had hurt his son."
