《Marvel One-Shots》Step by Step

Peter wouldn't say this to anyone but Natasha was his favorite. She was the best aunt anyone could ever have, she was nice and cared deeply about the people she loved. She was also really scary and it was fun to watch her yell at Clint.
When Tony adopted Peter at the age of 3, he had all the Avengers wrapped around his finger really fast. That also included Natasha, because he was the one person who made her go soft. Even though she wouldn't admit it.
"Aww look Nat, he's made you go soft!" Clint said while giggling at the sight of Nat bouncing the toddler on her knee. Natasha have him a dead stare and smacked him right on the head. No one mentioned Nat's attitude towards Peter again.
When Peter was six, he walked into Nat's room and watched in awe as she gracefully danced around the room. Peter didn't know she could dance. So as she glided across the floor of her bedroom, Peter did the same. But when socks meet wood and head meets floor, there's going to be crying. Natasha stopped abruptly at the sound of a thud. She walked around her bed and saw Peter on the floor crying. She quickly scooped him up and sat on the bed. "What happened baby spider?" (btw, Peter doesn't have his powers, she just calls him that cause she's the mama spider) Peter looked up at her with tears eyes.
"I didn't mean too. I just wanted to dance like you" he sniffed.
Natasha opened her mouth in surprise. She hadn't even noticed her nephew come into the room. Some assassin she was. "It's okay Peter." She ruffled his hair and smiled as he giggled. "You know what? Why don't you learn too?" She asked while grinning. She would never forget the excited look on Peter's face.

The first few weeks were hard. Peter had promised Nat that he wouldn't tell anyone because it was a secret Nat didn't really want to get out. Dancing was her way of escaping and she needed that. When they first started, she worked on Peter's balance cause he was a total klutz. Over the course of a few months, he was able to do some ballet moves. Natasha had never been any prouder.
When Peter was 10, he had mastered many aspects of ballet and tap. Natasha and him practiced most days of the week trying new moves. Peter worked hard to get where he was and was so proud he had improved so much.
"Hey Auntie Nat? I was wondering if we could learn hip-hop? I know it's not even close to what we've been learning but it looks so cool!"
Natasha looked up with an amused look. "I don't see why not. I don't even know hip-hop. Guess we'll learn together!"
When Peter was 15, him and Nat had mastered tap, ballet, and hip hop. They spent the weekdays after Peter came home from school training to get better and the weekends out at studios to show off what they could do. Both of them got jobs as instructors for young kids.
Peter got home after Decathlon, and walked into the common room. He didn't see Nat so he chose to ask Friday. "Hey Fri? Where's mama spider?"
"Mama spider is currently in the training room with everyone else."
Peter frowned. They were supposed to start practice as soon as he got home. He shrugged and stepped onto the elevator going to the training levels.
When he stepped out he walked onto he training mat. "Hey dad! Hey everyone else!"
They all smiled and said they're hellos but quickly turned back to training. He sent a quick look towards Natasha, like a "what the hell" kinda look but she just gave him a sincere look back. "Later" she mouthed.

Peter just sat down and started stretching. Better now than later. After 15 minutes he got up to grab a cup of water. He heard Clint quickly yell out "Watch out Pete!" and the sound of a arrow quickly coming at him. Peter did the only reasonable thing. He went into the splits.
"Peter? When the hell could you do the splits?" Clint asked while Natasha snickered.
"For a while." And then he walked out leaving a bewildered team of superhero's and a snorting Natasha.
" Man, that kid really has improved. His reflexes have gotten so much better." Nat thought as she walked towards her room. She heard Peter playing some music inside and saw him turning in pirouettes (is this right?) and going in for a leap. She smiled as he landed it. "Nice job Peter." He looked up at her while panting and went to wipe off the sweat on his forehead. "Thanks. I think I'm getting better than you." He said with a cocky grin. Natasha only smiled. "Let's see then."
Peter and Natasha met on the training floor around midnight when everyone was asleep. They would need a bigger space to work so they met here. "I'm thinking we start with ballet, go to tap, and then hip-hop" She suggested. Peter nodded and took his place on the mat. Both made clean turns and beautiful movements across the floor. They were so into the music that they didn't notice Tony and Bruce sitting in the back of the room after a long day in the lab. Both had shocked faces but they were in awe too. Neither expected Nat to be so good, and for Peter to take after her. Tony was in tears at how amazing his son was.
Over the course of the tap dance, Wanda and Steve wondered in after getting a text from Tony. They too looked on in amazement.
When Nat and Peter started the hip-hop, the rest of the team stumbled in. They were doing flips and floor-work, and amazing dancing. All the Avengers gasped at the movements the two had. When the song ended, both Nat and Peter turned around in exhaustion, "Fine, we both tied, but I'll be better than you soon". He stopped abruptly when he saw the rest of his family grinning. "Shit. Oh sorry Uncle Steve. I mean shoot. Uhhh...surprise!?"
"Peter? I didn't know you could dance so well! Same to you Nat! When did you learn?" Tony asked his son.
"When I was 6 I think. Over time she taught me ballet, tap, hip-hop and also how to speak Russian."
All the others started at the pair in shock. Peter had learned so much over his life and Nat must've been a good teacher.
Peter and Nat said they're goodbyes as they left to go to bed but stopped when Clint spoke up, " uhh..Nat? Can you teach us too? He asked shyly. The others nodded in excitement. "Yeah, just sign up for the class."
Let's just say that is was a funny sight to see the Avengers learning to dance with a group of 8-year olds who were better than them.
