《Marvel One-Shots》Parker Luck (pt.2)

Peter literally couldn't think of any way he could get out of this situation with all the Avengers excited to see him later, and to embarrass him. He really didn't want Clint to do anything that involved him, and he really didn't want Flash to be seen bullying him. Flash would be killed, or seriously injured, or may go missing without a trace.
After getting to school, he saw Ned and walked up to him and Ned gave him a sympathetic smile. Of course, Ned himself was ecstatic to go to the Tower, but he still felt bad for Peter. Peter saw Ned open his mouth to say something when Flash's voice rang through the hall, "Penis Parker! Are you ready for your lie to be exposed?". Peter felt his face go red as everyone in the hallway started laughing, some pointing. This was going to be a long day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Peter went through the entire day until lunch with taunts from Flash and his goons, as well as skeptical looks by his other Decathlon teammates. He turned in his slip to Mr. Harrington and walked onto the bus.
"Alright, everyone! Who's excited to visit Avenger's tower?". Mr. Harrington asked.
All the kids cheered as Peter slumped into his seat, already planning many escape routes from the tower just in case. The entire bus ride had Flash making insults to Peter about how his lie will be revealed and how he was just a weak orphan nobody cared about. If only he knew how wrong he was...
They arrived about an hour later and they all walked into the building with growing excitement. The tour guide, Felicity, had given them a few rules about not touching things, and no stealing anything either. She started handing out badges to all the kids but Peter, she just winked at him. Luckily no one noticed that Peter wasn't given a pass, considering he had his own.
"Alright kids, you all have been given Guest Passes, they will only last the day and then they will be useless for using. There are different levels of passes that give certain people access to different areas of the tower. We're going to hit the labs as well as a possible meet up with the Avengers."

That got the kids excited.
"Any questions?" Felicity asked.
A girl named Cindy raised her hand instantly and Felicity nodded to show acknowledgment. "What are the different levels, and who has them?".
"Good question!" Felicity praised. "There are the guest badges, which are what you have, as well as red level, green level, and blue level. Red is for interns, cleaners, and computer workers. Green is for doctors, IT, and higher level workers. Blue is for the head of each department. There are two levels for black, Omega and Alpha. Omega is given to each Avenger and to close friends, and Alpha is for Pepper Potts. Tony Stark does not have a pass, considering this is his building." She finished.
'Well darn. I have an Omega Black. Each Avengers card had an ultraviolet sign on their card that identified them. Mine has a small spider in the corner.' Peter thought.
Each kid stepped through the security gate and looked up in awe as Friday called out "Guest Level Entry, accepted." They were even more in awe when Felicity stepped through, "Felicity Woodside, Level Red, given extra access for the day". Peter went through last and slowly stepped through and cringed as his name was called out. "Peter Parker, Omega Black, welcome back Peter!" He slowly looked up and grimaced when he saw his classes face. They were all in shock, Flash had some anger in his and Felicity was grinning ear to ear. He really wanted to punch her now. They stepped into the elevator to go to floor 23, the labs there were what they had access to.
'You may be wondering, what's up with you and Felicity. Well, Felicity was extremely intelligent and got accepted into MIT when she was 16. She then started working for Stark at 17. She was the one person he could complain to, but she always listened. They were good friends too. And yea, she knew about his alter ego.'

He laughed at the memory, Felicity had passed out right after she saw him take off his mask in the penthouse when she was sent to fix Stark's coffee machine while they were on a mission.
After exploring the labs, which were boring as heck, they went to the meet and greet. Felicity lined all the kids up and sat them down. Peter quickly grabbed her red hair and stared into her sea-green eyes and said: "Cece, you are so dead later." She just laughed and sat him down. Flash gave him a mean look.
All the Avengers walked in and instantly started answering questions like "Can I have a photo?" "Are your muscles really real?" "How old do I have to be to work here?" Tony answered his own questions and quieted the kids telling them how important school is with a few cut-ins with Cap saying "No drugs kids, stay in school."
Flash raised his hand. "Yes, you?" "Do you accept internships for High School students?". Tony made eye contact with the others and grinned. "Nope, don't know what you're talking about."
"Ha! I knew Penis Parker was lying". Flash yelled in victory. Then his face turned into horror when he saw all the Avengers giving him death glares, with their weapons out. "Uhh.."
"What did you just call my son?" Tony asked.
"Your son?" Flash whimpered.
"Don't ever bully my son again." That was all Tony said before Flash cowered away in fear.
"I don't like bullies son." Steve said his usual bully quote and I'll tell you, no on messes with Captain America. Now Flash had all the Avengers against him.
"This trip is over" Tony said and Felicity escorted the class back down to the lobby.
"Peter why didn't you tell us?" Wanda said sounding hurt.
"I'm sorry, I..I just didn't want you to worry about me or hurt anyone cause of me." He said sheepishly.
"Um..Peter? Can't you just fight him back? I mean you are a superhero after all." Sam asked.
"Well, I was always weak and just because I'm Spider-Man doesn't mean I can change how I act. So I stayed the same. I didn't want to hurt him." Peter said.
"Peter.." he heard multiple of them say.
"ENOUGH!" He yelled. "Look, I know I've been bullied for a long time and it doesn't bother me. You don't have to treat me like a little kid!" Peter said as he stormed off.
He needed some time..
———————————————————————
"Peter?" Peter heard Tony's voice through the door.
"I don't want to talk right now." He snapped back.
Tony walked in anyways. "Look kid, I'm sorry we pushed you but we all just care about you a lot."
Peter looked up and saw his whole family looking at him with loving looks.
"We can't live without you kid"
"We couldn't see you get hurt"
These were what made him cry in joy. He jumped up and hugged them all. After a minute of the superfamily hug, they all departed leaving Peter and Tony.
"Did you really mean it?" Peter asked and Tony was leaving.
"Mean what?" He asked back.
"You called me your son. Did you mean it?"
"Yeah kid. I see you as my son. I always have. I hope that's okay."
Peter's eyes teared up and he hugged Tony.
"I love you dad" he whispered.
"I love you too son" Tony said back.
They stayed like that for a long time.

Manaseared
Adventuring is for losers. Only the absolutely impoverished or the megalomaniacally mad would stoop to graverobbing and dungeon-delving to put food on their tables. As a career it is dangerous, unreliable, illegal, and infinitely unpleasant. Most who choose this life have no other options. They're the seventh sons of seventh sons, the disowned, bastards, impoverished and desperate, and nearly always young. And they are, without fail, losers. Eris is an adventurer. Eris is a loser. Like most of her make she's a teenage runaway with no other options. Unlike her company, she isn't fodder for the meatgrinder. She's beautiful, brilliant, and a talented magician; she's also vain, callous, selfish, and proud. This is her story, as she grows into adulthood, masters her abilities, and learns to care about more than just herself. Manaseared is an episodic fantasy adventure serial. It's also a pastiche of early D&D and RPGs in general, and an attempt to explore at what it might really mean to be a first level adventurer.
