《Poems》Elysium

I dreamed a dream of a place long forgotten

That only resides in fairytales and fantasies

Protected by stone walls a summer's garden

Where nothing ever is as it seems

Young smaller trees bend to provide shade

Though to hide from the Sun one needs not

Soft to the touch is every green grass' blade

Searching for this heaven's exit is for naught

Who would ever even think of leaving

A peaceful sunny place of visions tender

Where the smallest thing creates a new feeling

To which one easily lets the soul surrender

A lovely smell lingers in the place of wonder

Not heavy or strong rather light and pleasant

As a fool perhaps they may me render

To give all up for simply of paradise a moment
