When the calm sea breeze lays

full of fear you've long repressed,

which you never knew how to express.

Before, I thought it'd always be me;

should have known there'd come a time

when you'd look away and flee,

but I just wanted you to be mine.

I gave you more than I could give,

without you, I forgot how to live.

But I know me, I'll be fine;

I only need to draw the line.

Though as I spill the raven ink

all over the clouds of silver,

I'm sure, again, I can hear you sing;

the drops from sea turn into a river.

So now I wear this daunting crown

as cracked reality shatters like glass.

In my own reflexion of soul I drown;

shame, it's not lovely, grand - only crass.

My mind is filled with a last unsung song;

the low whispers and quiet sighs combine

and even when it's completely wrong,

it all simply sounds so divine.
