hey i'll be at the park at 5 pm, wanna join me?

Taehyung sighed finally sending that message, he had that typed out for almost 20 minutes debating on whether to send it or no, he waited for his response and soon enough he heard the notification go on,

yea sure

Taehyung frowned at his dry reply but smiled knowing that they were going to hangout, after almost a month. Taehyung squealed in excitement playing with his hair

Taehyung jumped from his bed and went to the washroom heading for a quick shower, he then quickly did his skincare and noticed that it was 4 pm, he sighed knowing he had an hour left so he grabbed a face mask and ran to his phone playing his favorite song

he put the face mask on and went to his cupboard to choose an outfit as he swayed himself to the song that played in the background, with his deep voice he sang along

Is what I'm now praying for

The things that we too could plan

he smiled picking out his favorite jacket and throwing it on the bed,

he smiled to himself proudly looking at his outfit that laid on the bed, he took a peek at the time to notice he had 30 minutes left. He took the outfit and changed himself to it and then heading to his dressing table ruffling his now fading blue hair and put on some eyeliner, he smiled at himself and did a quick wink before noticing he had 10 minutes remaining.

He took his phone, keys, and put on his shoes before leaving his house waving a quick 'bye' to his parents that sat there doing their office work on a Saturday,

he began walking to the park and reached there, he saw the bench that he and Jungkook daily sat on and sat there. He lifted his wrist to check the time from his watch and saw it was exact 5, he smiled knowing he will hang out with Jungkook soon enough,

he waited for 5 minutes and smiled shaking his head thinking that Jungkook was going to be late,

but

it was now 5: 30 and Taehyung had been sitting there with a small smile and with a glint of hope thinking Jungkook will come soon, he sat there opening a packet of gummy bears that he brought with him, 

he began popping all the green flavored ones in his mouth then the red ones, he smiled to himself eating them

a child came up to him, and Taehyung smiled having a small conversation with the kid and handed him some gummies as well,

Taehyung happily waved at the child who was aggressively waving at him, he smiled at the child being carried by his father and leaving, Taehyung again checked the time to see it was 6 now,

it was slowly becoming dark and he frowned a bit, 'is he bailing?', Taehyung sighed before taking his phone from the pocket and dialing Jungkook,

1 ring,

2 ring, 

3 ring

and Jungkook was still not answering the call, Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows worrying, thinking about the worst,

he dialed the landline of the Jeon's residence and soon enough the call was answered,

"Oh Jungkook where are you?" Taehyung asked now freezing slightly because of the cold temperature,

"Taehyung?"

"oh Heejin hello, is Jungkook there? he was supposed to hang out with me at the park by 5 and now it is 6: 45---"

"Taehyung? what? but Jungkook is at home with Eunwoo" Heejin said confused, she immediately panicked hearing a cough from the other side

"oh okay then i guess i'll head home, send my regards to Jungkook. Take care" Taehyung said hanging the call quickly before a tear drop fell and he began crying silently in the cold,

am i not his friend anymore?

on the other hand Heejin could not tell a 'bye' back to him as Taehyung cut the call quickly, Heejin was shocked and disappointed by what her older brother did,

she marched to his room and slammed the door open quickly gasping

Jungkook and Eunwoo who were kissing parted away hearing her tiny gasp, Jungkook got up from his bed heading to Heejin who looked at him and backed away in shock,

"Heejin i am sorry i di-didn't tell you that i am gay, i found that out recently myself---" Heejin looked at Jungkook and replied in a monotone,

"Taehyung called, he was coughing because of the cold because someone bailed him out without telling" with that Heejin left his room giving a glance at Eunwoo who smiled at her,

Jungkook widened his eyes picking his lips between his lips

"sh-SHIT fuck fuck" Jungkook said brushing his hair with his fingers while Eunwoo went to him and hugged him

"what happened kook?" Jungkook looked at him and said quickly pulling himself away from the hug

"eunwoo we'll talk about this later okay? i have to leave now i am so sorry" Jungkook said grabbing his coat and smiling at Eunwoo,

Eunwoo nodded and smiled pecking Jungkook's cheeks leaving from there, Jungkook ran out of his house and headed to Taehyung's house, which wasn't that far from his own

he rang the bell to the house and saw Taehyung's mother, she smiled at him before looking around him,

"Taehyung didn't come with you?" his mother asked and Jungkook widened his eyes,

"eommoni, oh yes i just came to greet you, i guess i'll leave then" before his mother could ask anything back Jungkook ran heading to the park,

he saw no one except for a slouched blue haired figure sitting on his favorite bench, Jungkook gulped and went there, he gasped at the sight of Taehyung with red cheeks and nose and his eyes puffy,

"y-you are here?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook nodded 

"i-i am so---" Jungkook began but was interrupted

"i was wondering, am i boring? am i not a good friend that suddenly you began distancing from me. don't say sorry Jungkook, that will only make me forgive you and I don't want to. Y-you lied about your exams, you weren't attending the entrance exam this year. I am sorry but i don't want to see you for now. oh here take this, i made your favorite sandwiches, though it might be cold you can re-heat it, i mean ask Heejin to do so" Taehyung said wiping his tears biting his lips in between smiling at him before leaving

"T-tae! TAEHYUNG! wait listen to me!" Jungkook said and sighed noticing Taehyung slouched figure leaving the park, he shook his head suddenly

'fool what are you doing? run after him!'

Jungkook quickly took the lunch box and ran after Taehyung, he grabbed Taehyung's arm and turned him around. He flinched seeing the red eyes of Taehyung

"i-i am sorry, i didn't know what was happening with me. Its just that when i made new friends i became too excited, i never meant to do this Taehyung. Please understand" Jungkook said desperately wanting a reaction from Taehyung who just stood there 

Taehyung nodded at Jungkook and turned around heading inside his house leaving Jungkook alone with a lunch box,

Jungkook reached home and sadly kicked his shoes away, he went to the kitchen seeing Heejin sitting there with her laptop video calling Sooyoung,

Jungkook waved at Sooyoung and he received a wave back, he went to the microwave opening the lunch box but was stopped by Heejin,

"move i'll do it" Jungkook flinched at her cold tone and nodded, he the noticed Sooyoung from the laptop speaking something directing to Jungkook,

Jungkook picked the earphones and plugged it in his ears,

"You screwed up, didn't you?" Jungkook looked at her with wide eyes and the nodded slowly,

before he could reply, Heejin gave him the lunch box pushing him away from there talking to Sooyoung,

Jungkook sighed at that and headed to the sofa, picking a sandwich up and eating it. He hummed in satisfaction with the taste and smiled to himself, he soon finished all four sandwiches, 

he went to the kitchen to wash the box when his eyes caught a note at the bottom of the lunchbox,

Jungkook teared up and looked at Heejin who shook his shoulders grabbing his attention,

"he called everyday asking how you were because you never answered his calls or texts, when he got to know that you had no exams, he was sad but tried to be really understanding. He cried to Jimin about how you guys were distancing. Jungkook oppa you messed up"
