They all heard a shout and looked in the direction to find Karan entering. They all stood up seeing him and Tejasswi closed her eyes knowing the consequences.

Karan looked at Jasmin and his look was enough for her keep shut up. Tejasswi froze, it wasn't the case as expected. She thought he hates her because of Jasmin and her fight outside his ward. She didn't realize that before 3 years he didn't even know the truth about her and Mr. Prakash.

Jasmin smiled and pushed him towards her cabin.

One of the female employees gave her a chair to sit but she was frozen on her spot. They shook her and she looked at them.

The employee tried comforting her. She said nothing.

It was 10 minutes when Karan and Jasmin came out of the cabin and Karan gave a smirk to Tejasswi. She tried to stand strong as Jasmin nodded at her as she had settled everything according to their plan. He smirks and goes to his floor.

Jasmin just shook her head and smiled,

One of the employees said as they knew Tejasswi was already broke. She said softly and left behind him. Jasmin wished and went to her cabin.

She nodded and went to get his coffee.

"Nahi Jas, vo Aly didn't let me inside. Vo jaanta tha, isliye mai tab hi New York chali gayi thi Umar aur Vidhi ke paas. I was never in jail." Jasmin nodded and hugged Tejasswi. "I am so glad Aly ne aisa kuch hone se rok diya... but bhai ko toh lagta hai tu jail me thi?"

"Vo Aly se maine kaha tha," Umar and Vidhi glared at her while she was calm. "Vo actually mujhe Aly ne bataya tha ki Sunny ko memory loss ki vajah se head me issue ho raha hai. Aur vo koshish karr raha hai, apne aap ko harm karke cheeze yaad karne ki. Toh isliye maine Aly se kaha ki meri image bigaad de, jisse vo mere baare me sochna band karde, and it worked." Jasmin caressed Tejasswi's face. This girl can do anything for her brother, she knew now.

Jasmin whispered sadly.

Tejasswi shook her head and just nodded. She had lost her glow, it wasn't the same Tejasswi they knew.

Karan ordered. She nodded. Karan smirked.

She shook her head in despair, this man would now make her work like this. She had to take the stairs for the floors newly made, the lifts were still till the 5th floor. Karan's cabin was also going to be made on the top, for now he was at the 5th floor. She climbed the stairs and reached Mr. Aman.

Aman looked at her, she must have taken the stairs. She gave a smile while he gave her the file.

She took the file and reached back. She gave him the file. He nodded and took the file.

She closed her eyes so that the collected tears inside them don't fall out. She smiled, this is how exactly they used to talk earlier.

She missed her Sunny, his care, his love, his warmth and what not. She saw someone knocking. He said sweetly and Tejasswi furrowed her eyes. "Who the-" She stopped herself from cursing.

Karan smiled and shook hands with her,

He smiled and she nodded easily.

She nodded and left. Tejasswi gulped the information around, was her Sunny going for a dinner with some other woman?

She faked a smile and left. She found a couch pillow and punched it in anger. She said to herself and punched the pillow again.

They completed their work and Karan went down, Tejasswi silently followed him.

She smiled and they both sat in his car to leave, while Tejasswi pouted sadly, not forgetting to follow them.

She didn't want to lose him. She would not be able to see him with some other girl, she controlled her emotions as she sat behind their table.

She saw the text from Vidhi and closed her eyes.

she got a reply and focused on them having dinner while chatting.

Palak snapped her fingers as she caught him staring at her. They both laughed and Karan smiled.

Tejasswi wanted to punch her Sunny, how was he even sitting with some other woman. She ordered some food for herself and started eating, food was always her weakness. She kept eating to divert her mind.

Karan saw her eating her meals but she looked very upset. "Why am I even thinking of this woman! Mr. Prakash and his daughter." He shook his head thinking and got back to talk with Palak.

Tejasswi reached home and got ice-cream for Ishaan on the way. She knew only he could change her mood now and she will never stop pampering him.

She said and he jumped excitedly. They both went to his room and had their ice-creams. They heard Umar and closed their eyes. She sheepishly smiled while he made a puppy face. Ishaan nodded sincerely so that he can save himself. He laid on the bed while she caressed his hair for some time.

Umar asked as she went to their room where Vidhi returned. Vidhi started coughing as she was drinking water. She whisper shouted. Tejasswi nodded sadly.

She just gave a weak smile to Umar and Vidhi and went to her room to sleep.
