Adrian pov*

It's been 4 days since I saw Elissa with this jerk. I just wanted to break his arms which slide around her waist and touched her face. He doesn't have any right on her she is mine and mine only. Stupid man

Anyway I won't stop asking for her forgiveness or try to win her because of him. I felt alive again when I kissed her but was so hurt when she pushed me and wiped her lips like I disgusted her. Even if for the moment she doesn't want anything to do with me I will try and try again.

I looked at my watch it's lunch time so I decided to go to Elissa's work I need to see her and speak with her.

After like 20 minutes driving I reached there and made my way inside the coffee shop.

I searched for her when I spotted her near the counter.

I smiled reminding the first time I met her she was wearing almost the same clothes with her hair in a messy bun, her face bare and natural. She was and is the most beautiful woman I know.

I found a place and waited without her noticing me

"Hello Sir" A waiter said

"Hello"

"Did you make your choice" He asked

"Not yet but I have a request"

"Yes Sir"

"I want Elissa to serve me"

He frowned at me and replied

"Excuse me sir but I think she is busy with another client now"

"Oh it's ok I can wait just tell her Adrian is here"

"Ok"

I waited almost 20 minutes and finally she came I smiled at her but she looked pissed very pissed

"What do you want Adrian"

"Hello to you too"

"I don't have time to lose Adrian so tell me what are you doing here"

"It's obvious I am here for lunch"

She gave me the are you serious look

"What" I asked with a grin

"Since when you abandoned your fancy restaurant to come here"

"Well since you are here ... I missed you love"

She looked around her to check if somebody hear me an faced me again

"Whatever did you chose?"

"What you will recommend me" I said smiling

"Everything is on the menu so make your choice yourself" She replied rolling her eyes

"You are rude baby are you like that with every customer" I said teasing her

"No just you... So now give me your order or I will leave" She replied sternly

"Ok Ok... Huuum I will take the chicken pasta and water please love"

"Stop calling me like that" She said and walked away fast

I looked at her back how I wanted to hug her and kiss her delicious lips but I know it's neither the good timing nor the good place.

I ate all my plate, it was delicious. I took the chance when Elissa came to clean the table and said

"I want to speak with you Eli"

"Like you see I am working"

"I will wait until you finish" I said with hope

"I don't know what do you want to talk about but like I said before there is nothing to speak about" She snapped

"It's about Lucas" I said softly

She stopped what she was doing and lifted up her face to look at me with a curious look

"What about Lucas"

"I want to see him and spend some quality time with him too"

She chuckled and replied

"You can forget about it"

"He is my son I want him to know me"

"Oh please Adrian don't you think it's late for this"

"Listen...."

Elissa cut me and said

"I don't have time to chat with you and what I said is final so don't lose your time and mine and leave"

I caught her wrist before she left

"I am not going anywhere until I have this discussion with you" I said firmly letting nothing to argue

She detached her wrist from my grip and left. I sighted and start occupying myself with my phone. There is no way I am leaving from here before convincing her.

The coffee shop was emptying little by little until I was the last customer inside. The same waiter came to inform me they wanted to close so I have to leave

"I am waiting for Elissa"

He sighted and made his way at the back of the coffee. Elissa came dressed in her clothes.

"I see that your stubbornness didn't change with the years"

I smiled at her and get up from the chair

"I am like that just for you" I winked

"You won't give up until I listen to you I bet" Eli said walking towards the exit

"Bingo baby" I replied following her. She stopped turned to face me and glared at me

"First of all if you want me to listen to you, you have to stop calling me like that because I am not your baby or love or whatever you call me" she said with gritted teeth

I know that I have to stop teasing her before she twists my neck. I lift my hand in surrender

"So ... you have exactly 15 minutes before I go to get my son from the day care" Eli said looking at her watch

"Yes what about we sit somewhere to be comfortable" I asked

"There is a park not far from here"

I nodded and followed her. I gulped, felt my face pale and stopped in my track when we reached the same park I saw her the last time I followed her when she was pregnant and seemed so tired. Elissa faced me and said

"Are you okay?"

"Euh yee... I mean yes"

She frowned but kept silent, she took a seat in a bench, I did the same.

"Like I said I really want to know my son and be close to him"

"And like I said It's not possible"

"Why?"

"Seriously you are asking, you didn't recognise him as your son remember?" She replied bitterly

I closed my eyes ashamed

"Yes I know but I regret everything please Elissa give me a chance to be in his life"

"Lucas doesn't need you in his life"

"But I need him... I need you"

"I am sorry Adrian but you can't come after insulted, humiliated and chased me and say you have regrets and expect everything will be fine"

"I am not asking you to forgive me for all the horrible things I have done because I can't forgive myself . But we are speaking about our son it's not about you or me but him. Maybe he doesn't ask for me yet but sooner or later he will and he will need me and I want to be present for my son even if I know that I don't have the right to ask after him... Please Elissa" I pleaded

She looked at me for a long time without speaking certainly thinking if she should give me this chance or not so I speak again

"Of course I won't see Lucas without your consent; you can be with us if you are not comfortable with me and him alone"

I really hope that will happen so you could be together as well

"For 4 years it was always only him and me so I don't know how he will feel about that. I am not trying to punish you here but I want to protect my son" Eli replied

It's my fault only mine I allowed that to happen because of my stupidity. I'm the only one responsible that she refers at him as her son and not ours.

"Our son... Lucas is our son and I care about him as much as you do even if you don't believe that. I can't and won't do something which is not good for him. Every step we will take will be for his own good"

"I don't know Adrian, I don't know how to tell him you're his father and even don't know if I want to tell him in the first place." She sighed massaging her temples

"We don't have to tell him right away, we can wait for him to be comfortable around me?" I asked forgetting about the last part

She didn't speak and her silence was scaring me

"Do it for Lucas... please Elissa and I promise you that everything will go according to your wishes"

"I need time to think about it"

"Please Eli..." I said desperately

She got up and replied

"I have to go" and walked away. I stayed at my place looking at her back and blaming myself for this situation.

After some minutes I felt someone tapping on my shoulder I lifted my face that was resting in my hands. It was Elissa

"I am getting late what about you drive me to get our son" She said softly

Our son she said our son my mind screamed

I blinked at her a few second and when I realised what she said I jumped from the bench

"Yes let's get our son" I replied with a huge smile and trembling voice.
