Adrian pov*

I was making the hundred steps in front of the building not able to calm myself. I didn't close my eyes for the all night thinking. What will I say?

'Stop to be a coward Adrian' I said to myself I entered the building and to the elevator heading to the 5th floors.

Once in front of the apartment I took a deep breath and knocked. And here she is in front of me with a smile which instantly faded when she saw me. We stayed still looking at each other for I don't know how many minutes. Her eyes were holding so much emotion. I decided to break the silence

"Hello Elissa"

Silence

I cleared my throat and spoke again not really knowing what to say

"H-how are you"

She was about to close the door at my face when I stopped her with my foot

"I want to talk to you... please" I pleaded

"About what" she asked

"May I come in first" I said softly

Staring at me for a moment she opened the door and let me enter

The apartment is small but cute you feel warm that you can only feel when you are at home. Once in the living room which was opened to the kitchen I saw my little boy sitting and eating something like a chocolate mousse his mouth was full with chocolate and his cheek as well. I smiled at this view he is so cute. Elissa followed my gaze and went to him

"Do you finish baby" She asked him

"Yes mum"

"Let me clean you then honey"

I just kept silent looking at them, they are so beautiful. Lucas came to me following by his mother

"Hello Mister"

I chuckled and replied

"Hello little one"

"Who is he mum?"

Elissa stared at me clearly embarrassed so I kneeled in front of him and replied instead

"I am Adrian"

"Adrian?"

"Huumm"

"My middle name is Adrian to" He said with a smile

My heart jumped from its place hearing that. I stared with wide eyes at Elissa who looked away

"Really" I said

"Yes Lucas Adrian Garner"

Garner of course. Lucas had his eyes on me so I spoke quickly

"Nice to meet you Lucas" I said and ruffled his hair keeping my eyes on his. He has my eyes and hair.

"Lucas baby it's time for your little nap so what about you go to the room and when I will finish I will come next to you"

"Ok mum don't stay long I am going to wait for you"

"Yes my love go now" she said tapping him gently on the buttocks. When he closed the door Elissa turned to me crossing her arms.

"I am listening to you" she said sternly.

"Ok... huum first of all I want to know how are you"

"I am fine like you see"

I felt so nervous in front of her not knowing how to start

"Huummm Lucas is very cute he is like you a part of the eyes and..." She didn't let me finish and said bitterly

"Just go straight to the point Mr Robertson because like you heard my son is waiting for me"

"Yes... actually I don't know how to say it... I I am here to apologise" I said lowering my eyes

"About what exactly"

"Everything, all the thing I have done or said to you 5 years ago"

"Why? I mean why now" She asked. I took a breath to reply

"I found out that the photos were fake, I accused you and I am so sorry for not trusted you back then"

She didn't say anything staring at me with a not surprised look

"It was Tanya who did it, the man who she paid for create the photos and video came to me and admit everything"

"Oh she was her!" She said more to herself and sat on the edge of the couch. I went near her and added

"I am so ashamed of myself Elissa. I fell on her trap so easily please forgive me"

"Yes you have been an easy target... but it's ok it's the past" Elissa replied. What? That's all she is able to forgive me that easily it can be true

"That's mean you forgive me" I said with hope taking her hands

She looked at my hands on hers for a moment before removing them and stood up

"Yes of course" She said with a small smile. I can't believe it my heart beats so hard and I found myself hugging her so tightly, smelling her hair oh my God I miss her perfume so much

"Thank you so much Elissa you made me the happiest man alive I promise I will do everything to make up for lost time for you and our son"

Few moments later I realized that she stayed still not hugging me back and not saying a word.

I backed away looking at her cold eyes

"Sssay something Elissa... You forgive me right"

"Well yes I forget about this drama but that doesn't mean I want to do something with you" She said sternly

"How... what do you mean" I whispered

"I think I am very clear but I am going to say it again STAY AWAY FROM US"

I felt like my feet won't carry me anymore

"Bbbut..."

"There is no but Mr Robertson you heard me right. So if you can leave now" She said

I felt my blood boil, I know I have no right to be angry but hearing her calling me like that made me lost it

"Don't call me like that...like I am some stranger" I said raising my tone

"Low your voice my son will hear you!!!"

I lifted my hand in surrender

"Ok ok I am sorry but..."

"Listen the only reason I let you in is because I don't want to make a scene, you waste my time enough; I listened to you now I am asking you to go and never come here again" Elissa spoke like exceeded

"No No no I am not going anywhere, I want to be a part of your and our son life"

"Are you kidding me?"

I walked to her trying to take her hands but she took a step back

"Don't come near me, and for what you said you lost the right to be in our lives 5 years ago so just leave us alone" Elissa said between her teeth

"Please Elissa please I know I fucked up but give me one more chance just one please"

"No Adrian I won't give you anything"

My tears were falling and I didn't care being vulnerable in front of her. Looking at her I knew her determination but I can't stop myself to ask

"At least can I visit my son?"

"Oh because he is your son now?"

I lowered my head ashamed of myself and plead again "Elissa please"

She was about to speak when Lucas called her. She sighted

"I am coming baby"

She looked at me again

"Leave and close the door behind you" She said walking to the room leaving me alone.

I won't give up so easily Elissa. We will be together again I promise you .

I went out disappointed but I won't give up from now on they will be my one and only priority.
