*Elissa pov

I woke up in a white room depending on the smell I guess I was in the hospital. I looked around and saw Hailey sitting on the chair.

"Ah Eli you wake up? How are you feeling now?"

"I'm good what happened?"

"You fainted and I bring you to the hospital"

"What time is it?" I asked her

"It's 2pm"

"I was unconscious all morning?"

"Yes, I am going to call the doctor don't move" She said walking of the room

Few moments later, Hailey came back with the doctor. She smiled and asked me

"Good afternoon Mrs Robertson I am Dr Kingsley how are you feeling?"

"I feel better, what is my problem doctor?" I asked her

"There is not any problem at all; you are perfectly fine you have just to take care of yourself now"

"I was a little stressed nowadays but I will be careful" I replied

"Yes you must because the first months of pregnancy are very important"

I looked at her without blinking not believing my ears. I just heard Hailey say "oh my God"

After regaining all my senses I said

"Pregnant?! Me?"

"Yes Mrs Robertson you are 8 weeks pregnant congratulations. You have to take your appointments for the pregnancy monitoring ok? You can go now after settling the formalities see you soon then"

The doctor left the room letting me completely shocked, happy very happy actually but shocked. Hailey's voice bring me to reality.

"Waaooh Eli I am going to be an aunt I am so excited! Congratulations"

"Thank you Hailey I can't believe it... I am going to tell the good news to Adrian" I said happily

"Do you think it's a good idea Eli? You know maybe he is still angry"

"Yes precisely this pregnancy will change his mood he is going to be a father after all"

"Ok, I just don' want you to be disappointed"

"I won't he will be very happy I am sure"

"I will pay the hospital bill and take care of the formalities so you can go back home" Hailey said

"Ok thanks I am waiting for you"

I am beyond happy; I have always wanted to be a mother and founding my own family; now my dream come true and it's also the way to reconcile with Adrian. I know he wanted kids too so when he will know about the baby he will let me convince him and trust me. We are going to forget this misunderstanding and make a fresh start. I can't wait to see him.

We were in front of the hospital and I asked Hailey if she could drop me off at Adrian. I called Erin to know if Adrian is at his office but he didn't so I will go directly to our house. When we arrived Hailey told me if I want her to accompany me. I refused.

Once at the front door I knocked not wanting to use my keys, Martha opened the door and hugged me.

"Where were you Elissa; I called many times why didn't you answer me I was so worried"

"I am sorry Martha and don't worry as you can see I am fine. Is Adrian here?"

"Yes at his office since this morning"

"Thanks Martha I am going to see him"

I made my way to his office I knocked and waited for his answer. I entered and when he saw me his looks changed instantly full of anger.

"What are you doing here" He said angrily coming towards me

"I want to speak with you Adrian"

"There is nothing I want to discuss with you" He snapped taking me by my harms and pulling me to the exit

"Just wait please Adrian... let go of me you are hurting me"

"I don't care get lost of my house"

"Adrian just 5 minutes give me 5 minutes after that you will be able to do what you want please" I pleaded

He blew heavily turned his back to me and said

"Hurry up"

I took my courage with both hands and told

"I am pregnant"

He turned towards me looked straight in eye without a word. I saw his face changed but not in a good way and he suddenly approached me and slapped me hard. I didn't have time to realize when he grabbed my hair and yelled

"You don't have any shame do you? Hein? You have came this far giving me proof of your infidelity you slut!"

Martha heard him and came running

"What are you doing Adrian let go of her" she screamed pulling on his hand. He untied his hand from me pushing me in the process. I felt on my butt.

"Mind your own business Martha and return to the kitchen" He yelled

"How can I you are hurting her"

"Leave!!!" He said to her

"It's ok Martha I am ok leave us" I added by getting up

"But Elissa..."

"Please" I said. When she left I stared at Adrian and he is looking at me with anger, disgust and hatred. I never thought that one day he would look at me like this but anyway I have to convince him.

"This is your baby trust me you are going to become a father"

"Shut up!! Just close your fucking mouth"

"No you have to believe me this baby is yours" I yelled

"I said SHUT UP don't you Fucking understand! You expect for me to believe you, to believe that this bastard is mine! Oh my god why I didn't see your true colour until now. Why I didn't listen to the people whom said me who you truly are and warned me. I should have trusted them when they said you are just a whore who was trying to seduce me a gold digger running after my money and wealth, a useless and stupid waitress escaping her situation! I kept telling them no she is different, she is honest but I realize that I was wrong. I really am an idiot"

"I have never been with you for your money!" I said 

"Of course you are, so stop it now you don't have to pretend anymore" He replied

I stayed on my spot looking at him the tears flowing on my cheeks not believing what I just heard. So that's what he thinks of me now.

"It's that you think about me?"I shuttered

"Yes unfortunately I am late, so now you get out from here I don't want to see you stepping in this house anymore go find the father of your bastard and forget me! My lawyer will contact you very soon"

With that he took me by the elbow and threw me out of the house and closed the doors behind him.
