The moment Farya closed her eyes. She knew this was a nightmare. A trick of the devil. It can't be possible; it was happening all over again and there was nothing she could do.

No matter how much she screamed, how much she cried. It seemed as though the world had lost its sight and she was left in the dark cold room.

The disoriented voice rang through her ears. She could see his limp form on the bed. The man's face now ashen and his lips blue. His eyes were closed and there was pain on his face, utter pain she couldn't forget. It was carved in her memory, serving through the end of her days.

" Roshan! Wake up please. Don't leave"

She heard herself scream. Her words chocked whilst paramedics circulated her bed. Trying to find pulse in him. Trying to search for life that was destroyed before he knew about drugs.

At the back of the room. She could hear her mother crying out for her son; whilst her dad held her back. Everything Farya knew came crashing down.

She saw how they picked his body up and carried him away. She saw the day they buried him, in the cold ground. Her best friend. Her brother. Her partner in crime was gone and she was left all alone, and just before everything ended. She heard him whisper. His brown eyes glancing at hers for the last time.

" Farya I'm cold. So cold"

And just like that, in a glimpse of a memory he was gone forever. The moment her eyes snapped open, she gasped for breath almost as though she was in oblivion. Trying to find her surface again.

A cold breeze washed past her naked arms and her drenched hair. A few strands now stuck on to her forehead as Farya glanced around her room. Blinking the tears away.

Her body shook feverishly, almost like a leaf. Her large eyes flickered upwards at the moon light gazing down on her room. The white curtains hiding it's ethereal beauty away. Pushing her blanket away, Farya walked towards the open balcony. Trying to find her balance again, praying inwardly she doesn't fall more than she already has.

A wave of breeze floated around her again as she closed her eyes tightly. Welcoming the tale of the night, hoping somewhere, wherever it was. The boat of destiny was sailing and soon it'd greet her. Welcoming her with full arms.

Feeling wet trails down her cheeks, the young woman's fingers brushed past her cheeks. Her hands shaky and her heart breaking.

Glancing around her room. Her eyes suddenly landed on the black tailored dress on the hook. Walking across the room she wrapped the Arabian attire around her. Covering her pyjamas away.

Wrapping a loose veil across her head. She grabbed her keys before making way towards the secret passage at the back of the house.

One of the highlights of the manor was how it held secrets passage all across. Passages she hopes Noursheen or Agha didn't know of. Then again, she discovered it on her second week here and that was almost a year ago.

Walking down the hallway, her fingers glided against the mosaic wall as she pressed on to the familiar looking oval pigeon hearing the bricks pull apart creating the perfect passage way to the backyard.

Farya knew it was pretty extreme how she used this passage but it was better than risking the front door. Her father has left guards in every corner and she'd rather walk down these darken stairs rather than being rejected by the security guards repeatedly.

Arriving at the familiar brown door. Farya pushed it open leaving her at the outskirts of the garden. She felt like a character out of a movie, sneaking away at the middle of the night. Hoping to meet her lover except she didn't have one and the only place she was going was towards the ocean.

The walk from her house and towards the beach was less than five minutes. The moment she walked on the familiar sand. Her toes curled in excitement and her heat leaped at the sound of waves and the bright moon serenading the world below.

The moment was soon broken as she glanced upwards at the twinkling stars and the cloudless sky. Roshan had always told her stories about the stars. How one day they'd come down for her and if she was good enough, she'd become one like them.

A certain twinkling star caught her sight making Farya exhale the breath she was holding. Despite all of them, this particular star held her sight. Maybe because it was all alone yet it shined the brightest. In that moment she knew who that star would be.

It was Roshan. Just like his name.

" You're far from home"

A deep voice spoke behind her. Farya could feel the blood rush from her forehead. Her body turning completely cold.

Hundreds of thoughts rushed through her head as she slowly turned around. Fearing if this would be her final night. If her time had finally come.

There was no one in the beach. No one would come to her rescue if she screamed. She was all alone, again.

The first thing Farya saw were dark grey eyes staring at her under the moonlight. She could feel her face flicker towards the man's face. His thin nose and his hard jawline, and slowly towards the stubble across it.

Her breath caught in her throat as she stared at him.

Mustafa

" Where is home "

She spoke before she thought. Cursing inwardly Farya bit on her tongue staring upwards at the tall man. Seeing him dressed in a tailored suit, his hair brushed back and dominance reeking from him.

There was a moment of silence before the man tilted his head to the side assessing her features. Farya kept her eyes on him, the large hazel ones reflecting the halo of moonlight in them.

If one was to look from afar. They'd see it as lovers reuniting. There she stood, Farya, under the moonlight. The black dress wrapped around her body and the black veil across her head. The midnight breeze brushing past her, kissing her brown strands across her pale face.

Then there was a man, dressed in a black suit staring down at her. As if she was an ethereal creature he hasn't encountered.

Yet that was all a figment of ones imagination and Farya soon snapped away from her trance. Clearing her throat.

" You've been crying?" His deep voice reached her eyes making Farya blink. Utterly confused at the man's observations. Why did he care.

" Yeah, so?"

She spoke back, almost offended how he suddenly thought he had rights to ask her questions.

" Did your boyfriend break up with you. Deniz?"

He spoke darkly, an edge to his words making Farya furrow her eyebrows. Even Deniz this morning didn't show a slight enthusiasm towards the man. Was there something she should know?

" That's none of your business"

She snapped back completely forgetting that they were all alone and from the looks of the man. He could easily kill her and make it look like an accident.

" Mhm! It becomes my business though, when something happens to a young woman on my property"

He spoke in a deep accent. His raspy voice echoing across the midnight. Making Farya tense. She could feel her lips part as she glanced at the man. Utterly at loss for words.

" This is a public beach" She spoke, ignoring what his statement included off and focusing on just his last words.

" It is. Except from that part" he pointed towards a small board that could easily be mistaken for a musical charms hanging from them. They'd occasionally clash against each other when it got too windy. At least that's what Farya thought anyway.

" Everything from that point is mine" The man spoke making Farya glance at him. Seeing his eyes trained on her eyes. She could smell his strong cologne, reaching her nose and she almost closed her eyes at the scent. It was alluring.

Great. The one place she thought was hers turns out to be someone else's. She thought suddenly, wanting to leave here. Away from this stranger.

" I'm sorry I should leave" She spoke feeling her heart beat faster. Glancing upwards at the sparkling star. She felt her heart heavy, almost as if it really was Roshan she was leaving behind.

" I didn't say you could leave Farya"

Mustafa spoke, her name rolling easily off his tongue. Backing away from him, Farya felt her heart skip a beat. Utterly at loss for words. How did he know her name.

" How do you know my name?"

" I know many things"

He spoke back making the young woman shake her head. Realising it was best to leave, Farya took a step forward. Wanting to run away from here. From him.

His mere presence was making her lose all thoughts and she was already emotional. On her pursuit to leave sh moved forward, immediately walking on something sharp.

A blood curling scream ripped from her throat as she felt the man beside her tense and rush towards her.

" Oh god! It hurts" Farya sobbed falling on to her knees, trying to avoid any weight on her feet, fearing the glass shard would plunge further.

" So much for looking after what's yours"

Farya snapped through tears and Mustafa was almost dumbfounded for that split second. A smile daring to fall across his face yet he held it back and kneeled beside the woman who was staring at her bloody foot.

" That's what happens when you don't listen" He spoke reaching towards his pocket and pulling out some tissue. Holding her small feet in his hands, he brushed the oozing blood away. Realising she needed to go to the hospital.

" You need to go hospital. Come I'll take you " Mustafa spoke, his voice masked with something. Farya looked upwards at the man kneeling beside her. His grey eyes staring upwards at hers.

" I'm going to pull the glass out" He spoke staring down at the young woman. He could see her breathing hitching as she nodded. Holding tightly on the glass, he pulled in a sharp movement. His finger getting cut in the process. Their blood mixing together.

Mustafa almost forgot how to breath as he stared at the young woman before him. Her eyes are closed tightly. Her long lashes wet with tears. Her plump lips were between her teeth as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Something within pulled against him, seeing this woman in pain. How was it possible that this strange creature was making him question his morals.

" I need to take you to the hospital" he spoke in gruff voice making Farya shake her head. " No thank you. I'm not going anywhere with you"

She snapped back, her eyes fiery, making Mustafa eyes darken. Something flashing within them.

Farya didn't give him a chance to say anything as she stood up. Wanting to ignore the look in his eyes as he held her. Pulling the glass from her feet.

The sudden action turned to be disastrous as the sand clashed around her open wound. Hissing in pain, Farya felt her knees shaky and she soon found herself falling backwards.

What was supposed to be the cold floor greeting her. Farya felt strong arms wrap around her small form, holding her steadily.

And that is exactly how Agha found them. In the middle of the night, embraced together.

Hell was about to break loose.
