" Myra, go inside! " Viren shouted again.

" No! I am not going anywhere till this thing is solved. Sujal, please at least listen to me, calm him down! " Myra said.

" Shut up!! Or I will give you a tight slap. We will talk to you later. Our parents have given you too much Liberty and you are taking undue advantage of it." Viren shouted.

" Viren!! Don't talk to her like that, please. " I said.

" How dare you touch my sister?? Don't ever show your face to us. " Sujal was very angry. I had never seen him like that. He tried to punch me but Mihir caught his hand.

"Wait!! Calm down, Viren! Will you please give him a chance to explain? " Shlok said. He and Shaurya came between us and pushed them away.

" Would you have listened to the man if you had seen him kissing your sister? " Viren yelled at him.

" I would if I also know the man and the man is like him. " Shlok said.

" Don't take his side just because he is your best friend. " Sujal shouted at him.

" No! I am not taking his side because he is my best friend, I am just telling my friends to talk about it with a calm and open mind. " Shlok said.

" It is easy to say that when your loved ones are not involved. So you can't understand what we are going through. How dare he touch our sister?? It is not acceptable, even if that man is my best friend. " Sujal said.

" For god's sake, give him a chance to speak... We have all known him for the last 20 years. He has been the most decent man of all of us and we all know that... at least ask him why he did that. " Shaurya said

" Don't come between us. Or we would never talk to you again. " Viren said glaring at them.

" No!! We all have always stood by each other through everything. We have been inseparable. Please listen to me. He has never flirted with a single girl then why did he kiss Myra?? He must be having a valid explanation for that, ask him! " Shaurya said.

I looked at Raj and Ron. Ron was annoyed with me too and seemed to be on the other side. But that was obvious, they would always support Sujal because of their family relationship.

Raj was standing there and looked shocked and it seemed that he was not there at all. He was looking at me Myra with shock.

" Ok, fine? If you don't trust your friend whom you know for years, at least trust your sister. She said that she kissed him. How can you blame my brother for something that your sister did? Ask her. " Mihir said.

" Thanks, Mihir, Shlok and Shaurya!! For trying to put some sense in my brother's head. " Myra said.

" Say whatever you need to before I lose my mind again," Viren said clenching his jaw.

" Then listen... Manik is my boyfriend. " She said.

" What?? " Her brothers, Ron and Raj asked in unison. But she didn't say anything to confirm. They all looked at us and Mihir nodded.

" Manik, is your boyfriend? " He asked.

" Yes!! " She said.

" When did that happen?" Viren asked.

" Viren, I have been telling you that I have someone in my life, but you have been thinking that I was trying to fool you. " She said.

" Why?? You betrayed me, Manik? How can you date my sister and propose to her to be your girlfriend? You didn't even think of our friendship? " Viren was getting very upset now.

" No, Viren... You are Sujal are very important to me. It's just that we both felt attracted to each other. I felt very guilty and wanted to tell you. But..." I tried to explain.

" But thought of enjoying a bit before telling us? How could you propose to her? " He was very angry?

" No! Everything seemed to be good but since he came here, right after I accepted to be his girlfriend, we never got a chance to spend some time together so that we could get to know each other better. I didn't want any complications later on. " She said.

" There is no valid explanation that he didn't tell us, he is our friend and should have followed the bro code and stayed away from my sister. If he felt something for her he should have told me. " Viren shouted.

" You would have killed him. I don't think your reaction would have been any different from what it is now. " Shaurya said.

" I am sorry... Viren, Sujal. I don't know how but I was really attracted to her and could not help it and proposed to her. I should not have done so. She is your sister, you have a right to be angry with me. Beat me to a pulp if you want but please don't break this friendship between us." I said.

We all are friends for twenty years, I value our friendship more than a relationship about which we are not even sure... The relationship between us has not even started yet... " I said and helpless tears flowed out of my eyes.

" Manik, please go to your room, can all of you please leave us alone?? We need to talk to Viren and Sujal. " Shaurya said and sent everyone away. But I didn't want to go till things get cleared between us.

" Manik, go to your room. " Shaurya said. I shook my head.

" Mihir, take him away and give him some water to drink. " Shlok said to Mihir.

Mihir, went to the kitchen and I got tensed that Roshni had not come out of the kitchen, she must have seen and heard everything.

Mihir came out with 6 glasses of water for all of us and gave me a look that said. Not to worry... Though he had some questions in his eyes too.

Shlok, insisted everyone have cold water to cool down their minds.

" Mihir, take your brother away." Shlok said.

" Shlok, please, all of you go to the study or the home theatre. They are soundproof. The girls are sleeping upstairs... and there are servants in the house and they will get a chance to gossip about all this. " Mihir said.

" Don't you think this suggestion came a bit late?? " Viren said clenching his jaw.

" Who could have thought of such a thing when you all were fighting like kids, I just realised it!! Well, it may be late, but at least now we can go there. " Mihir said.

" I think, that is a good suggestion. Let's go to the study. " Shlok said pulling Sujal with him and Shaurya pushed Viren to the study.

" I need to come as well. " I said.

" I don't even want to see his face right now. Tell him to leave or I will leave. " Viren turned and shouted.

" Manik, go to your room or I will join them and beat you. " Shaurya threatened me.

" Fine! You go ahead!! I am taking him to his room. " Mihir said.

" Bhai, go to your room they both are supporting you. You have always said that Shlok is very calm and smart. He will manage everything. " He said.
