Roshni's POV

My alarm went off and I got out of bed and got ready at a super speed as I wanted to go and see him.

I went to the kitchen and saw Maharaj Ji making breakfast for us. I asked him about Manik's favourite dishes and helped him in making one of them so that I could learn it.

He came downstairs and I went out of the kitchen to greet him with the theplas, I had prepared with Maharaj Ji. I greeted him and he smiled politely.

" Good morning, Roshni, I hope you slept well. " He asked. Though I had not slept a wink, I didn't want to feel guilty that I could not sleep because of what his guest tried to do.

" Yes, very well. I didn't even realise when and how I slipped into slumber. " I said.

The breakfast was served but his phone started ringing, he took the call.

" Hello, Mihir?? " He said.

Oh, his younger brother...

" Hmmm!! Great! I am sure it is a good idea. I will see them and order. You send the flowers to Myra... And send some flowers to the special girl at the Jindal Mansion as well. " He said with a smile.

What?? He is sending flowers to two girls??

I knew he had that Myra but who is this someone special??

" Is everything alright?? Why am I feeling that you are hiding something?? If you are not going to do it, I will do it on your behalf. Don't worry, I will face Gautam uncle's wrath and Siddh's punches too. But you need to tell her now before it is too late..... Why are you not so enthusiastic about it??.... So what?? You are crazy about her since forever. " He said to his brother.

Thank God!! This Jindal girl is special for his brother not for him.

" Fight for your love, Mihir. She is so pretty, so it is obvious that there would be other men also who wanted her, but so what?? She is not committed to anyone till now. She is not in a relationship with anyone. Then why not tell her about your feelings? Maybe she never thought of you in that way. At least let her know. " He was saying.

What a sound suggestion!! Only someone like Manik Ji gives such a suggestion.

" Tell her or I would have to do it for you. Or even better tell Chachi to talk to Maurvi aunty." He said and chuckled.

" Ok! Ok! Ok!! Got it! I will not interfere. But you need to do something. Bye, take care of everyone at home specially Mahi. You know she is my princess and I can't take care of her, so you take care from my side as well. Bye. " He said and Disconnected the call.

" Your brother?? "

" Hmmm."

" Any problem? "

" No!! "

" He likes someone... ?" I asked.

" Hmmm... Wow, Thepla!! " He said and served it on his plate with Chhunda ( sweat and spicy, raw mango chutney) butter and fried chillies.

" You like them?? "

" Yes... Who doesn't like them? Anyways, how is your college going on? "

" Very good!! "

" Good! I hope you are staying away from those boys whom you called friends. " He asked while eating.

" Yes!! Haven't talked to any of them. " I replied. He nodded.

Maharaj Ji came with buttermilk. And juice as he was not sure what would he have.

" Buttermilk, please. Maharaj Ji, thepla is awesome. "

" Roshni bitiya made them with me. " He said and Manik looked at me with surprise.

" Really?? Great!! I didn't know, you can cook." He said.

I can do anything for you, Manik Ji.

" I learnt them today under the able guidance of Maharaj Ji. "

" Oh, ok! Well done. Thanks for making it for me. " He said with a polite smile.

" It was my pleasure. Tell me what else you like, I will learn and make it for you." I said.

" Thanks, Roshni, but please concentrate on your studies. And if you need any help please let me know. " He said.

" What help?? " I asked immediately.

" If you don't understand anything in your syllabus, let me know. I will teach you. Or if you need any extra coaching, I will arrange that. " He said.

" Great!! I don't have many problems. I can manage well with your help. " I said.

" Ok, ask me your doubts when I am at home. " He said and got up to go to the office.

" Manik Ji, if your client requests you not to cancel the deal, please agree with him. I am feeling very bad that it got cancelled because of me. Please, I am fine, you don't have to bear the loss. " I said.

" I will think about it. Ready for your college, I will drop you there on my way," he said.

" Yes, I am ready. " I said.

I went to the office and my PA reminded me that James wanted to meet me again. I told my PA to fix a meeting, but make it clear to James that I don't even want to see his brother's face. If he wants to meet me, he needs to come alone.

The PA was a bit shocked to hear that, but he didn't say anything.

" Shall I fix the meeting before lunchtime?? I will arrange the lunch whatever you want. " He asked.

" No!! Call him after lunch. And serve only tea with biscuits, like you serve others. " I asked.

" Sir, but he is our very influential and big client, gave such a big order... " He said as he was confused.

" Do as I say! No special treatment. Got my point? " I asked and he went out with a nod.

James came to meet me after lunchtime and I remained indignant.

" Manik, I need to talk to you. " James said.

" There is nothing to talk about. Be thankful that your brother is still breathing in the fresh air, after what he did to my friend just because you were guests in our home and country. I don't want to work with such criminal-minded people. " I said.

" Manik, please... Let it be now. Bob is foolish, I know he committed a mistake. But please don't punish me for his deed."

" But he is your brother and as you said yesterday, you are responsible for his behaviour. "

" Please listen to me, I need to prove myself in front of my dad as I want to marry my girlfriend while my dad is forcing me to marry the daughter of his best friend. So he has given me this challenge to make a good deal with your company and establish as a good businessman then only he would accept her as his daughter-in-law. So there is a chance that he did it deliberately to spoil the deal. " He said.

" What do you mean?? "

" I am not going to marry the girl my parents chose for me. At any cost, I would marry my girlfriend, so if this deal is cancelled, my dad would get a chance to force me to marry the girl he wants me to and when I would refuse to do that he would throw me out of the company and my brother Bob, would get my position. So there is a chance that he did this deliberately on my dad's instructions. I may be wrong too. But if I am right, I am really sorry that your friend had to bear this. I would personally apologise to her as I respect women a lot. And I understand how you are feeling right now, but please accept my request. In fact, I will double the order if you don't cancel the deal. Please consider my offer. " He seemed genuine so I agreed.

He was very happy and hugged me, he ordered many more pieces of jewellery. Especially like the ones he brought for his girlfriend. As a whole, he brought more than double the stuff than earlier. So the deal became even bigger.
