《The Wedding In Miami》Let's fucking run

I woke up at one in the morning to banging on my door. "Piss off!" I yelled into my pillow before pulling it over my head. "I swear to god, I'm gonna kill somebody," I screamed while getting up and answering it. "What?" I huffed when I came face to face with Landon, Zo, and Nick.

"Easy tiger," Nick chuckled while pushing me into the room. "Give me a minute," he said to the other two before closing the door.

"What?" I glared at him.

"We're going to the bar," he stated.

"At one in the fucking morning?" I asked slowly. Are they delusional?

"We don't leave tomorrow till after lunch, might as well grab a drink," he shrugged while walking over to me, pushing my hair over my shoulder.

"Nick, I will seriously strangle all of you. You're waking me up for this?" I practically growled.

"Maybe I can help with your little mood," he chuckled.

"Really? How's that?" I glared.

He smiled before leaning down and pulling me closer, pressing our lips in a chaste kiss. He pulled away and looked at me. "Did that work?" he asked.

"No," I deadpanned.

"This might," he mumbled before kissing me harder. I took steps back, eventually, my legs hitting the bed. I let myself fall back onto it and he made sure to hold himself up while he hovered on top of me. For once, I was the one to deepen the kiss and I felt him smile against my lips before pulling away. "They're still standing outside and waiting," he gave me a pointed look.

"Not my problem," I shrugged, crawling back into bed.

"Em," he grabbed my wrist and pulled me up, "We're going, come on," he pulled me up to my feet.

I whined while pulling my flip flops on while he tied my hair in a ponytail. He stood in front of me and grabbed his jacket that I wore tonight, handing it to me. I rolled my eyes but put it on before grabbing my key and following him out. We went to the bar and we drank the night away. By we, I mean the other three. I just wasn't in the mood to drink so I stuck to a spiked iced tea.

I sat there with my head in my hands, Zo passed out beside me while the guys ran all over the place.

"Mr. Heartwell!" the bartender called out, "Your father's coming in with some guests for a few drinks," he informed.

"Thank god," I mumbled to myself while getting out of my seat and grabbing Nick's key and phone, before grabbing him. "Let's go," I pulled him into the elevator while Landon did the same with Zoey. The doors to our elevator closed as soon as the doors to the other one opened with Matt stepping out and heading to the bar.

I slouched against the wall, letting out a sigh of relief. Nick sat on the ground while Landon and Zo did too. "Which one out of you three is the closest to sober?" I asked looking down at the three bodies on the floor. Landon raised his hand while the other two pointed to him. "All right buddy, get up," I sighed as the elevator doors dinged open.

He got up and picked Zoey up, throwing her over his shoulder, stumbling to her room while I dragged Nick out. It took a lot of energy, don't ask. We were roughly halfway to our room and he decided to just lay down on the floor.

"Nick, get up, please," I cried while dragging him along the floor. "If you can stand up and walk to your room without falling, I will give you a kiss," I huffed, pushing my hair out of the way.

"I want ten," he pouted.

"You'll get ten," I shrugged. He got up and held the wall for support, walking to our rooms. "See, wasn't so hard," I said while opening his door and pushing him inside and onto the bed.

"Now give me ten kisses," he grinned up at me while reaching his hands out.

"Ha, no," I deadpanned, before grabbing him a water bottle. "Nick, we've been here two weeks and this is the second time I'm handling your drunk ass. No more getting drunk until the wedding, please," I huffed while sitting beside him, holding the bottle to his lips.

"You promised ten kisses," he said once I closed the bottle and placed it on his nightstand.

"Nick, you are incredibly drunk, please just go to sleep," I pleaded while tucking him in.

"But you said ten kisses," he whined.

"Shut up and go to sleep," I turned his lamp off. I turned to leave but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back before wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me onto his lap, having me straddle him. "Nick," I sighed as he turned the lamp back on. He looked up at me, sticking his bottom lip out. I leaned in and kissed him.

"One."

"Two."

"Three."

And that went on until we hit ten.

"Okay?" I asked while brushing his hair out of his face.

"Now stay," he rolled me onto the bed, lay me down beside him, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Nick," I huffed.

"Please Emmy," he whined. I sighed in defeat before telling him to turn the lamp off. "There's something I have to ask you, I'll ask when I'm sober, I want to remember this," he mumbled before dozing off, leaving me thinking what the hell he was talking about.

I woke up the next morning with a little headache and a sleeping Nick right beside me. I glanced at the clock. It's fucking noon. Lunch is in half an hour. I ran my hand through my hair before rolling onto my side and staring at him. He looks so peaceful when he's asleep.

No chaos. No stupid drunk words. No whining.

I ran my fingers through his hair, pushing his hair away before tracing his jaw. I squeezed his cheeks together so his lips were pressed together before kissing him.

He kissed me back even his sleep before his eyes slowly opened. "Hello," he grinned.

"Hey, idiot," I smiled back. He looked at me in confusion. "It's noon and lunch is in thirty. Aspirin is on the table," I pointed to his nightstand.

"I have my painkiller right here," he mumbled while pulling me closer.

"We have shopping to get to," I stared into his eyes.

"Right," he said slowly.

I nodded before getting out of bed and grabbing my things, slipping my flip flops on. "I'll meet you in a little bit, okay?" I turned around and he was standing right behind me.

He picked me up and placed me on the desk, standing between my legs. "Don't go," he shook his head.

"You always ask me to stay," I sighed.

"And you never do," he gave me a pointed look.

"I will see you in a little bit," I repeated but he only shook his head. "Nick," I huffed. He wrapped his arms around my waist before kissing me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back, pushing him away slowly after a while. "See ya," I smiled before running out and into my room.

"I hate this," he huffed, throwing his arm around my shoulder and walking beside me.

"Madeline, if you shop for dresses this often, you'll end up buying another wedding dress, honey," William huffed while following her, holding her bags.

"You love me. Right, baby?" she asked and he nodded. "Then just help me," she smiled innocently before kissing him.

"That's a bribe," I stated while watching them and how he was suddenly willing to help her.

"She just kissed him because he's helping, that's a bribe?" Nick asked.

"He's helping her because she's kissing him," I gave him a pointed look.

"Let's get out of here," he sighed.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"Let's fucking run," he shrugged.

"To what? Mexico?" I said sarcastically.

"Funny," he rolled his eyes at me.

"Hmm," I said, pressing a kiss to cheek as we walked around.

"Should I buy these?" he asked while pointing to a pair of swimming trunks.

"Buy that," I pointed to a bikini. He gave me a blank look while I laughed. "Oh, come on, it was funny," I shrugged while linking my arm with his.

"Real funny," he rolled his eyes.

"I have a question," I cleared my throat. "Who's walking the aisle with Elijah?" I asked.

"One of Madeline's friends," he shrugged.

"Can I do it?" I questioned.

"No, you're walking it with me," he turned to me.

"And if I don't want to?" I arched an eyebrow at him.

"Well, you can walk the aisle to me," he smirked.

"It isn't our wedding, honey," I rolled my eyes.

"You really wanna walk it with Elijah?" he questioned and I nodded. "Okay, you walk it with Elijah. I'll walk with Grace," he rolled his eyes.

"She's not that bad," I turned around and spotted her. She pulled the arm off a mannequin.

"Right," he scoffed.
