《The Wedding In Miami》Reliving that night

The phone began ringing and I woke up feeling exhausted. "Hello?" I mumbled.
"Get up," Madeline huffed before hanging up on me.
"I guess we're all waking up on the wrong side of the bed today," I spoke to myself while crawling out of bed. I was heading into the bathroom when someone knocked on my door. I glanced at myself in the mirror while tying my hair up in a bun before getting the door.
"Hello," Nick grinned before letting himself in.
"Hi?" I chuckled in confusion.
He's awfully happy. Not that I mind. He turned to me and pulled me closer, placing his lips on mine. He pulled away after a while and I just stared at him, utterly confused.
"I haven't even brushed my teeth yet," I laughed.
"I don't care," he shrugged. He's acting very lovey-dovey, very boyfriend-y.
"Are you okay?" I asked while grabbing my toothbrush and beginning to brush my teeth while he flopped down on my bed.
"I'm great, why?" he asked in confusion.
I shrugged before grabbing my clothes and going into the bathroom to get dressed. I came out dressed before packing everything for the waterpark in my beach bag and taking that with me since we weren't gonna stop by here after the trampoline park.
"Just for confirmation, we're going to eat breakfast and then go to a trampoline park?" I asked as we got into the elevator. "That doesn't seem like such a good idea," I added.
"Well, the trampoline park is like forty-five minutes away, so I'm sure we'll survive," he rolled his eyes.
"Who's driving?" I asked while we walked into the dining hall.
"Landon," he shrugged.
I nodded while getting in line for the buffet and grabbing the things I wanted before the four of us settled down at one table.
"So, we're actually just going to this trampoline park to jump around?" Zoey questioned. She and I turned to Landon and Nick.
"Yeah," they shrugged in sync.
"All right, you two are up," Zoey and Landon jumped down and back into the foam pit. We were rock climbing. "I'll bet my money on Nick," Zoey nodded at him.
I rolled my eyes while tying my hair up in a high ponytail.

"I think Emma might win," Landon said.
"Thank you, Landon," I smiled before Nick and I got on. Landon and Zo counted us down and we shot up, grabbing any rock that we could to pull ourselves up. I was a little ahead of Nick because I was keeping my eyes to myself whereas he was very busy checking me out. "Are you just gonna stay in that same spot and stare at my ass?" I asked, looking down at him before continuing to reach the top.
"I like the view," he shrugged with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes before picking up my speed when he began moving again, I got to the top way before him and tapped it before laughing at his loss and jumping back down into the foam pit. "You were saying?" I smirked at Zoey.
She rolled her eyes before handing Landon ten bucks. This was our last activity here, we had already done everything else. So now, we were headed to the waterpark. After a roughly thirty-minute drive, we pulled up at the waterpark and got out with our bags. The others were there at the entrance so we all got out wristbands and locker keys before heading to the bathrooms.
Zo and I just shared a locker for our things and I decided to wear the key because she would definitely lose it. I slipped it on my wrist before going into a changing room and slipping on my bikini. I applied sunblock all over before Zo and I left and met the guys outside.
While the four of us were talking, Liam cut in. "Hey guys," he nodded, "Hey Emma," he grinned at me.
I get a special hello?
"Hi," I nodded. I was a little confused about why suddenly he was paying attention to me.
"Guys," he cleared his throat, "I invited someone to join us today, I hope it isn't a problem," he looked at all of us.
"Who did you invite?" Landon asked.
"Hey, guys!" She came and stood beside Liam, resting her elbow on his shoulder.
"Rachel?" we all asked in sync.
"Well, I know who I'm not hanging out with today, sorry Liam," Zoey patted his shoulder.
"Look, can't you guys just move past the things that happened between Nick, Emma, and Rachel?" he sighed.

I eyed her suspiciously. She may be clinging to Liam but her eyes are focused on Nick.
"Sorry, no can do," I sighed with a small shrug.
"Yeah, we don't think so," Landon huffed, folding his arms across his chest.
"And anyway Rachel," Nick addressed, "If you're here with Liam then the only person you need to hang out with is him, right? You're with him, aren't you?" he arched an eyebrow at her.
She straightened up before nodding hesitantly.
"Then bye," Nick shrugged before taking my hand and pulling me out of there, Landon and Zoey following us. I didn't say a word while we got a table and got seated. None of us did.
"Anyone want a slushie? Zo, help me," Landon said quickly, pulling Zoey out to the slushie machine with him.
"You okay?" we asked at the same time. "Why wouldn't I be okay? Are you okay?" he asked in confusion.
"Nick, I'm okay. Are you? You snapped a little," I said hesitantly.
"I just don't understand why he would bring her here," he rolled his eyes.
"Maybe he likes her," I shrugged.
"Then I'm just disappointed," he scoffed, resting his arms on the table while sighing.
I reached out and placed my hand over his. "I don't mind her being here," I shrugged.
"I know you're lying, but okay," he mumbled.
"Nick, I really don't care whether she's here or not. She can be in hell for all I care," I mumbled the last bit to myself while rolling my eyes. He rolled his eyes while staring off into space. "Nick," I sighed, "Nick?" I asked, my voice softening. "We're here to have fun, not to be bothered by her, come on," I stood up and tugged at his hand. He looked up at me blankly. "Nick," I tugged at his hand.
He stood up while looking down at me. "Kiss me," he huffed.
"Funny," I rolled my eyes.
"I'm serious," he looked down at me.
There's a lot of people here so there must be someone from either family as well. I stared at him while contemplating it. Fuck it. I leaned in and pulled his lips down to mine for a moment, pulling away after a while. I raised my eyebrows at him and his face broke out into a grin. I laughed while Landon and Zoey came back with slushies for us.
I took the cherry one even though blueberry was for me but Nick took that from Zoey before I could. We sat there, enjoying our slushies and talking. While Landon and Zo were in conversation, Nick grabbed my chair and pulled it closer to his. "I have a surprise for you tonight," he said, his voice low.
"And what's that?" I asked while sipping his slushie. He clicked his tongue and snatched it away. I rolled my eyes while getting back to my own slushie.
"I'm taking you on a date," he arched an eyebrow at me.
"Is that so?" I laughed.
"Mm-hmm," he nodded.
"And where are we going?" I questioned.
"It's a surprise," he shrugged. I nodded before taking his slushie and handing him mine. "Hey!" he whined.
"They got that for me, enjoy your own," I rolled my eyes at him while drinking the blueberry slushie. It tasted a little like Gatorade.
"What's mine is yours, honey," he smirked, taking it back.
I huffed, sipping the cherry slushie. I don't even like cherry flavored things that much.
-----
"Go shower, get ready, dress pretty and I will come get you at seven," he said as we walked to our rooms.
"What do I wear? I have no idea where we're going," I gave him a pointed look.
"Casual but not too casual, you'll figure it out," he said while I leaned against my door. He placed his hands on either side of my head and leaned in. "And anyway, you look pretty in everything," he smirked before planting a kiss on my lips. He kissed my cheek before going into his room while I went into mine.
My phone dinged in my back pocket and I took it out, reading a text from Nick.
'I'll give you a hint: Reliving that night, figure it out- Nick'
Huh? What is that even supposed to mean? Reliving that night? What night? Our first date? We went ice skating for that.
I dialed his number while looking at my suitcase.
"Yes?" he asked.
"Do I dress warm for this date?" I asked while grabbing my outfit.
"No comment," he said before hanging up.
I laughed while plugging my phone on charge before hitting the shower.
We are going ice skating then.
