《Alpha Theo || ✓》41 | human strength

I felt myself becoming groggy as I began to wake up. My eyes slowly inching open and a sliver of light entering my sights. I groaned at the brightness, eyes weren't used to the sudden light.
I squinted at the light before forcing my eyes open. I found myself still in the attic, but this time I was all alone. I looked around the room to see no one in sight.
No Kara, No Kai.
My mind flashed back to everything they had told me and I felt myself burning with rage once more-- they were after my mother.
I wasn't going to let them get her, no matter what.
I lanked on the chains that held onto my wrists. I couldn't feel a burning sensation which only told me that my wolf was fast asleep. How much wolfsbane did they use on me?
I felt myself breathing heavier the more I pulled on the metal, but I didn't have enough human strength to even budge it.
My only chance is to trick them.
I didn't know how long I was out of even how much wolfsbane the twins used on me. If I could push my wolf enough for her to nudge awake as soon as the wolfsbane wears off I may have a chance-- Kara caught me by a few seconds last time.
I tried pushing myself off the chair, but quickly stopped after noticing the noise it was making. Surely that would alert them I was awake? They would just come in here and dose me further with wolfsbane to ensure I wouldn't wake my wolf up. I cringed.
Wait.
My mind drifted back to when Kara and Kai were standing in the room, they told me one thing they shouldn't have. The room was soundproof, I could make as much noise as I could and they wouldn't have the faintest of ideas of what I was doing.
I looked down at the chair I was chained in. It was wooden-- how did I not notice that beforehand? I cursed myself for being so weak when I first woke up with the twins around, I simply sat and watched as they ran their mouths off.
I was stronger than that-- even without my wolf. Humans are noticeably weaker than Weres but it wasn't all about physical strength. I was mentally strong as well, and I had a motive to do so.
My mother.
They will not touch her-- over my dead body.
"Come on Holly, you can do this." I whispered to myself, shutting my eyes tight as I swung onto the chair further. My human body wasn't going to enjoy this. I didn't know how much I could take in this state.
I felt fear bubble within me again as my mind drifted. I could die-- the twins could find me and kill me. I couldn't fight against two strong Weres in this condition, could I?

I bit down on my bottom lip unconsciously as I continued to think about it.
I have to stop thinking like this.
I am a future Luna-- I will be Luna soon. Did that mean I had the mental strength a Luna has, did it mean that even my human state I had the power to use my strength as Luna to win?
I huffed heavier and heavier, trying to break the barrier between my wolf and I. Come on, I called out in my mind but only being met with silence. She was far from me and it ached on the inside.
My mind drifting to Theo for a moment as I idiotically attempted our mind-link.
Obviously, no answer.
I wondered how things were doing for him-- was he okay? My heart clenched at the thought of things going wrong in the Golden Redemption territory, I had no contact with them.
What if he was dead? What if Jack was dead?
I shook my head in an attempt to throw those thoughts out of my head. They were blinding me from my current mission. I had to get off of this chair.
Just because I didn't have my wolf, didn't mean I was any less of a Luna.
I opened my eyes slowly, levelling my breathing finally. I was ready and I had to do with quickly-- God knows when Kara or Kai were going to walk through the door in front of me.
Without a second thought, I lifted myself up on the chair as much as I could before pushing my back and falling onto the ground. The chair came with me and it's back connected to the ground, breaking on impact.
"Idiots," I grumbled under my breath as I scrambled out of the chair, the chains now hanging loosely on my body. For a moment, I thanked my wolf for not being with me. Had she been here with me, I would be in agony just touching the silvers that were wrapped around me.
I twisted myself out of the chains and standing up on the ground. Momentarily, I stumbled onto my feet. I don't know how long I had been sitting in that chair but my legs were slightly stiff.
I was quick to shake it off, taking a second of my time to stretch in hopes that I would be able to loosen my joints.
Once I had finished stretching, I looked down at the chains at my feet. Again, I was thankful for my absent wolf, it made this way easier than I had thought. I had a feeling that neither Kara nor Kai was very smart. It could be due to the fact that they were clearly blinded by revenge, but it made me feel much better to believe that they were just truly idiotic.

There were two large silver chains on the ground, there were slightly weighty but not much to make me rethink this plan.
Quickly, I picked up one of the chains and wrapped it around my waist over and over again till the chain ran out, tucking into my jeans so that they wouldn't fall. For the second chain, I immediately grabbed it and took a defensive stance. I wrapped each end of the chains around my palms to ensure they were tight on my hand-- they weren't going to fall at all.
As fast as I could, I ran to the back of the door and prepared myself. Who was going to walk in first, Kara or Kai? I asked myself. I didn't care though, whoever it was-- they were going to die.
Not long after I took my position, my eyes snapped to my door handle twisting. Someone was coming in.
I watched from the door as Kai pushed the door open. I paused as I saw him freeze, most likely seeing that I was now missing.
Come on, move a little more.
"That bitch," He seethed, moving further into the room. This was the moment. As soon as his back was to me, I jumped in the air and landed directly on his back, instantly wrapping my legs around him as he thrashed against the silver pressing into his body.
"Fuck!" He shouted, going to throw me off. Before he could do so, I used my hands to wrap the chains I held around his neck-- pulling tight on each side. I could smell the burning flesh on his neck and could even see the skin turn crimson as I pulled tighter each second.
Soon enough, he fell onto his knees, scratching against the chains. Not only was he burning, but he was also choking too. I couldn't help but let a devilish smirk fall on my face.
I could hear him choking more and more, he was trying to breath more and more. I gripped on the chains tighter, pulling further and I could hear as he struggled to breathe.
I inched myself closer to his ear, my lips almost grazing him. "Don't fuck with the Luna," I snarled in his ear before giving the chains one more strong tug each.
With that, I felt his body going limp. His head jolted against the chain, instantly falling from his body and rolling across the room. I unwrapped my legs from his torso as his body began falling backwards.
Suddenly, I heard a sharp intake of breath from behind me. I spun around to see Kara in the doorway, the door wide open, as her glassy eyes stared at her dead brother.
She then looked back up at me, her eyes darkening. "I'm going to kill you," She sneered, showing off her fangs as she held down her clawed hands.
I pulled on the chains in my hands, swinging them in the air before grabbing them in place again, blood flying from it. A little bit of Kai's blood even fell on Kara's face, her eyes going wide as she felt on her own brother's essence on her cheek.
Shame.
"Bring it," I spoke confidently.
I may have spoken too confidently because as soon as I positioned myself in a defensive stance, I could suddenly a light burning sensation coming from my hands and my torso?
The chains, my eyes widened. I may have gotten so vicious for Kai that my wolf was waking up, the wolfsbane was fading.
Shit.
Instinctively, I dropped the chains of the drop as my hands burnt. The chains wrapped around my torso was still harshly burning me, it was on too tight.
I gasped, falling the ground just like Kai did only moments go. I pressed my hands on the ground as I felt the chains constructing me. I heard a sudden laugh coming from Kara but I couldn't find the energy to look up as the pain from the chains was making it hard for me to breathe properly.
"Oh, this is just beautiful." I heard her sigh cheerfully, before hearing the sound of chains and a hiss of burning flesh. She had picked up the chains.
Shit.
"This is going to be real fun," She spoke near my ear-- when did she get behind me? Before I could do anything, I felt a hot flash of pain as she immediately wrapped silver chains around my neck-- just as I did to her twin brother.
Instantly, I couldn't find the strength to breathe properly. Both the chains were burning into my skin, I could barely keep my eyes open as she tightened her grip on the chains.
I was going to die, wasn't I?
"I hope you go to hell," Kara sneered in my ear. "Bitch," She went to pull one more on the chain but as she pulled back, she was pulling away from me-- the chain flying off.
Immediately I fell to the ground, the pain almost engulfing me. It was too much, what was I thinking?
"Holly!" Wait, I knew that voice?
I used all the strength I could muster to open my eyes enough to see what was going on.
Theo?
I could see Theo?
He ran to me, holding me in this arms as Kara thrashed against the hands of Grey.
"Baby, stay with me!" Theo cried out to me, but I couldn't hold on too long. Slowly my sight was darkening, I could no longer see him. The spark that was between us overpowered by the piercing burns of the chains.
"No, no keep your eyes open Holly!" I could barely hear his voice, but I couldn't muster enough strength to open to eyes-- I could do anything.
I was dying.
"Holly!"

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.

How to become an evil overlord!
Nicolas Aukye kinda hates life, just kinda. There are many good things about life, and he knows that. The problem is, it's a bit difficult to enjoy life when you are trapped within the white walls of a hospital. Don't get me wrong, he doesn't have cancer or some other depressing incurable illness, nor is he lonely and sad, and he is definitely not just plain cuckoo. There's nothing wrong with him, except for the fact that he has two personalities, but that's not important. It wasn't something he was born with, nor something he resents. He just changed a bit when his mother locked him in an abandoned cellar for a few years, and he had to get on with life eating rats 'n' stuff. As I said, don't sweat the small details, and he's fine, because all that stress is gone once he massacres and wrecks havoc for a bit, oh, not in real life, of course, he's not in jail. Like I explained, perfectly normal, just don't mind the small details too much. (First story, I get C in English so, not a good sign. Trying to improve writing skills.) (casual story, lacks effort. I'm as lazy as Tanaka-kun (reference to tanaka-kun is always listless) you are warned) (Inspired by some of my favourites, Everybody loves large chests, Re:Hamster, World Seed and more) (Please don't kill me for mistakes, I'm probably gonna make a sh*t ton of em) (Also, how do I upload a cover page from my Ipad?)
