《Alpha Theo || ✓》38 | the evil twins

The first thing that I awoke to was darkness, my eyes restricted by something. What is happening?
My blood quickly went cold when my mind registered all that has happened.
Kara? Kai? I involuntarily shivered when I remembered the scolding water that was thrown onto my face, by the feeling of my skin the burn had healed but the memory still shook me.
Kara threw hot water directly at me-- that bitch.
I instinctively let out a growl just thinking about her. Then, I heard a noise.
"Ooh, I think she's awake!" I heard a giggle from in front of me and I recognised the voice instantly-- Kara. A growl brewed within me but something felt off.
I called for my wolf, yet all I was met with was the echoing silence in my head. My wolf wasn't with me?
"What--" My voice was rough and dry as I spoke. "--What did you do to me?" I snarled, trying to move but then quickly that I couldn't move-- both my arms and legs were constricted by the chair I was sitting on by silver.
As I pulled on the chains, I expected a hot flash of pain to go through my body-- yet nothing of the sort happened. What?
"Hey!" I yelled as I felt hands fumble on my face. "What are you--" Suddenly, I was met with a blinding light, causing me to squeeze my eyes shut.
After a while, I slowly opened my eyes and my vision blurred slightly before focusing on a face right in front of me, smiling widely with teeth as their eyes sparkled with mischief.
Kara.
Instantly, I threw my head back only to lunge it forward and spitting in her face. It directly hit her in the eye, causing her to flinch away with eyes shut. "Fuck!" She yelped.
An almost sinister smile spread across my face, watching her even in the slightest bit of pain make me happy.
"You're a little bitch, aren't you?" She spat out, wiping off her face before moving her head back to my direction.
She was standing away from me, however, she had pressed her hands on to her knees and leaned forward so our faces were inches away from each other.

I went to spit on her again, but this still she held onto my face, her palm blocking my mouth from making.
"Do that again, and I'll cut your tongue off. Got it, little Luna?" Her tone was insulting and I narrowed my eyes at her viciously. "I said, got it?" She repeated, squeezing her hand further into my face. Reluctantly, I nodded my head with my eyes connected with her.
She hummed in approval before lifting her hand off my mouth.
"There you go, look how easy that was." She smiled, before pushing back.
"What did you do to me?" I asked again, my voice sinister as my glare got stronger.
She gave me a blank look. "Did you not see the boiling hot water I threw in your face?" She asked rhetorically, rolling her eyes at me.
Again, I growled at her, gritting my teeth and attempting to show my fangs in rage. Attempting being the correct word considering that I didn't have my wolf at the moment, I couldn't grow out my fangs and it was frustrating me.
"What did you do to my wolf?" I snapped at her. She laughed humourlessly, moving behind her and leaning on the chair behind her.
"Oh me?" She chuckled before shaking her head at me. "No, no I didn't do anything to you actually. That was all my brother." She said as she gave me a smirk, tilting her chin down and looking up at me.
I did remember-- faintly- seeing and hearing Kai, but I thought he was out on the trip with Theo.
Theo. In the current moment of madness, I had forgotten about Theo.
"Theo!" I called out in our mind-link, using any attempt I could to contact someone. Unlike a pack member's link, a mate's mind-link with one other is much stronger and can travel many more miles than a regular mind-link.
Kara studied my face for a moment, before speaking again. "Oh, don't even bother with your silly mind-link. You're dosed with wolfsbane."
My brows furrowed. "Wolfsbane? Where did you even get wolfsbane?"

She gave me another blank expression, almost as if she was getting bored. "Were you always this slow? Or did the hot water melt your brain?" She joked, letting out a little giggle. She laughed a little at her low-rated joke before clearing her throat and continuing.
"I'll speak slowly for you," She taunted, leaning closer to me again as she spoke. "We stole the wolfsbane supply."
Kara and Kai were the ones that stole the wolfsbane supply? But why?
I voiced my question. I felt helpless in this situation-- sitting chained in a chair with silver links and with no wolf abilities. I felt so helpless.
I felt human.
Kara laughed at my question, pushing off on her knees and walking around the room.
This was the first I was actually able to look around the room. Sitting in this room felt oddly familiar as if I had been in this exact room before. It was a very dull room, with a singular broken bed laying directly in the middle of the room.
It wasn't too long until my mind suddenly matched a memory hidden deep. This was the attic, the attic where Theo's men first held me in when they took me from Golden Redemption on my birthday.
That meant that I was still in the house?
As soon as I realised that, I leaned on the chair and screamed as loud as I could. Surely, someone would hear me?
Kara then giggled at me, letting her head fall as she shook her head. She let out a breath before lifting her head up. "Try that again, they still won't hear you. We charmed the door-- the room is completely soundproof so scream as much as you'd like."
"You didn't answer my question," I gritted my teeth at her. She rolled her eyes at me again, letting her head fall behind as she strolled through the room.
"Oh," She giggled. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
She wasn't giving me anything.
"You little bitc--"
Before I could continue my sentence, the door swung open. The sudden rush of relief quickly faded as soon as I saw who was standing in the doorway.
Kai.
He walked into the room, shutting the door behind him instantly.
That little bitc--
"You told her yet?" He turned to look at his twin sister, who shrugged and leaned herself on the chair behind her.
"Nope, just waiting for you." She said, sending me a quick glance and throwing a wink my way.
Instantly, I growled at her. I was going to kill her-- the second that I was free from these chains I will kill her, with or without my wolf abilities.
I was going to rip her throat out and let her watch it herself.
Kai sighed and looked at me. I noticed that his normal giddy nature was gone, all I saw when I looked at him was darkness. His eyes absolutely ice cold as they stared back at me.
"You must be confused," He sighed again, stepping closer at me until he was inches away. He kneeled down, crossing his arms over my knees and tilting his head. "What do you want to know?" He asked, a smile appearing on his face. Though he was smiling, it didn't reach his eyes.
"Why are you doing this?" Just like his sister, Kai let out a humourless laugh.
"Why are we doing this? Why are we doing this, Kara?" He asked his sister from behind me. Kara then pushed herself off of the chair she was laying on, strolling towards the two of us.
"Hmm, I don't know. Refresh my mind, will you Kai?" She nudged her brother's shoulder, her eyes leaving me though.
Kai huffed, pushing himself off my knees and lifting out of his knelt position. He then got closer to my face, causing me to hold my breath slightly. I was frozen in place, there was nothing I could do right now-- I was helpless.
He placed one of his hands on the top on the chair I was chained to.
"Why are doing this because--" He inched his face closer to mine, I could almost feel his breath scolding my nose as he spoke.
"--Nadine was our mother."
