《Alpha Theo || ✓》30 | angry alpha

Telling Theo may have been one of the scariest things to do-- his face red with anger and I could almost see smoking coming out of his ears as if he was a cartoon character.

"Theo--" I hesitantly stepped closer to him, anger radiating off of him. It was as if he couldn't see nor sense me as he flew into a deep rage, completely ignoring the fact that I was beside him.

Theo growled angrily, his fists slamming on the table in front of him as the people around him bent their heads to bow down to their Alpha.

The girls and I had interrupted their meeting to tell him about Ella, the room filled with men Theo trusted along with Jack.

"How could you let this happen!" He roared at Faith, my wolf whimpering slightly as his wolf was fueled with so much anger. Faith bowed her head at Theo, attempting to hide a small whimper from him as her entire body shook.

I frowned at Theo but with his back turned he couldn't see. He shouldn't be yelling at her-- her mate is missing.

"I'm sorry, Theo--"

"Alpha Theo, have you seemed to forget that I am your Alpha here?" He snarled, getting closer to her. "Are you speaking to the shit stuck to the bottom of your shoe? Look up when you speak to me!" He growled viciously, had he had his fangs out spit would have surely hung off from him.

I clenched my teeth together as I narrowed my eyes on the pair, my blood boiling as I watched how Theo was treating one of his closest friends.

This was wrong. Yes, Faith made a mistake but surely it was punishment enough having to lose sight of the love of your life.

Faith looked up from the floor, her eyes trained on Theo's chin. While looking an Alpha in the eye was unacceptable, looking straight down on the ground as you speak can be seen as disrespectful.

"I'm sorry, Alpha Theo." Her voice was weak and trembling, her eyes still glossy-- she has been crying this entire time, ever since she barged into the bedroom where the girls and I sat.

Theo stepped closer to the crying wolf, who was attempting to stifling her cries by biting harshly on her bottom lip. "I should throw you in the basement for what you've done." My eyes went wide as his words, light muttering surrounding the room as the wolves quickly spoke among themselves.

I've had just about enough of this.

"Theo!" Instantly, his head snapped to me and I could see clearly how black his eyes had turned. "That is enough, she gets the message." I snapped, gritting my teeth at him. For that moment, his face expression softened but he was quick to retract-- his face harden almost instantly.

He glanced back at Faith for a moment before stepping back and clearing his throat. "Out,"

My mouth fell open, "Excuse me?" He turned his head to me, his face expression was concentrated, clenching his jaw for a second.

"The four of you need to leave now, Ella is missing and we need to figure out where." I nodded back at him, clearing my throat-- my heart still heavy due to the situation. "Now go," He ordered.

The girls and I quickly made our way out of the room, Faith taking the most time. My heart ached for her-- this was not a good day for me.

When the girls and I were out, Faith was quick to run upstairs-- Eliza following behind her as she called out for her friend to slow down. Lia stayed behind with me.

I sighed, placing my hand on my forehead. What has this day become?

The day began happily, I was spending time with two of my favourite people-- Lia and Eliza-- and then Ella's disappearance hit me like a wind storm. I felt my lip tremble as I thought about Ella but I shook it off.

She's okay-- She has to be.

"Holly," Lia spoke up and I snapped my head towards her direction. I instantly felt terrible as I looked at my friend. This must be so weird for her. "You should be in there," She pointed at the door to the meeting room where I could still hear Theo's voice faintly echo through.

"Huh?" My brows furrowed. She rolled her eyes at me, walking to the closest chair to her and leaning on it.

"Are you dense? You should be in there." Again she pointed to the door.

"Why?" I didn't know much about tracking so how hopeful could I really be?

"Why?" She exasperated, throwing her arms in the air and letting them fall back into her lap."My god, you really are dense in the head aren't you?" She groaned, her head falling into the palms of her hand.

"Lia!" I scolded her, again she rolled her eyes at me before pushing herself off of the chair and stepping closer to me.

"Holly, you are the future Luna of this pack you deserve to know what is happening in that meeting." She spoke, her hands meeting mine as she held them up to our chests. "I might not know much about this pack but I know you-- I saw how you felt when you heard about Ella being missing."

Part of me almost forgot that Lia herself was a future Luna-- so strong as well.

I gulped as I looked back at Lia, my eyes flickering up and down while she continued to speak.

"Ella is someone special to you,"

"She's Theo's sister."

"Exactly!" Lia exclaimed. "She is basically family to you and I know you feel like that. Your own family is missing, your mate's sister is missing. You not only should be in that room for yourself but you should be in that room for him." She spoke softly, using her thumb to caress my hands.

"He might not say it, but he needs you right now." I gulped again, before nodding my head in response.

"You're right," Lia lightly chucked, letting go on my hands as she shrugged playfully.

"Of course I am, I'm always right." She playfully nudged me, giving me a wink before calming down and getting me a focused look. "Your sister is missing Holly-- act like it."

She was completely right. I should be in that room, for more reasons than one.

"Thank you," I gave my friend a small smile, pushing that ache down on my heart as I gave Lia a tight hug. "I'm so happy you're here," I whispered into her hair as we both held onto each other for a moment.

After our hug, Lia made her way back to my room while I stood in front of the door of the meeting room. If I was planning on being the Luna of this pack, I should start acting like one now.

I took a deep breath in an attempt to calm my nerves, my hand shaking slightly as I reached for the handle.

Theo's voice was so loud in the room that I could still hear it on the other side-- He was furious.

When my hand touched the handle of the door, for once I could no longer hear Theo's voice anymore which made me slightly off-ease.

Before I could open to door, it swings open and the first thing I see is a red-faced Theo, his jaw clenched as he looked down at me.

"What are you doing?" He questioned, his voice filled with authority as he held tightly on the door.

"I want to be involved in the meeting, I'm going to be the Luna soon and Ella means something to me too," I stated, straightening my posture and crossing my arms over my chest as I stood my ground. I was going to be involved.

Theo let out a growl, before stepping out of the room and closing the door harshly behind me.

"No," I raised an eyebrow at him.

"No?"

"No, you're not going to be apart of this." I furrowed my eyes and narrowed my eyes up at him while he flat out refused me.

"Yes, I am," I fought back, almost growling back at him as I stood my ground. No way was he going to deny me this. "If I am going to be your pack's Luna, I have the right to be heard during these decisions. A Luna has just as much authority as an Alpha does." I called him out.

Theo attempted to hold back a growl, gritting his teeth together and huffing as he stepped closer to me.

"This has nothing to do with you being the Luna-- you cannot be part of this conversation, Holly."

"What--" He cut me off.

"Do not," He snapped at me. "Do not argue with me on this."

"Do not snap at me!" I snarled up at him, my instincts jumping out as I jabbed his shoulders. "You do not snap at me, I am your mate," I growled, almost seething.

I was getting angry-- how could he push me aside in this decision?

"Holly--"

"No! Who do you think you are?" I growled lowly, my fists clenched by my sides. "I am not a piece of trash that you can treat as such-- I am your damn mate and I will not let you speak to me like that or make decisions for me. I am not a pet you can train, I am your equal and I should be treated as such," I huffed at him, giving him one last jab.

I could feel my face getting hotter as I yelled louder, my nails almost stabbing my palms with how tightly I clenched my fists. I hissed slightly as I relaxed my fists, looking down at my imprinted palms slowly healing. I rubbed my hands lightly, pushing the slight pain to the back of my head.

I looked back up at Theo and noticed his face softening as he watched me.

"Holly," He sighed, stepping close to me and gently grabbing onto my forearms as he pulled me closer to him. "I don't want you in there, because I don't want to make you upset."

With furrowed brows, I tilted my head to looked to him directly. "Upset me?" He sighed again, using one of his hands to gently caress the side of my face, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear as he tilted his head down to me.

"The only explanation we can think of about Ella's disappearance is your father," I moved my head far from him, his hands still keeping me close.

"My father?" My mouth fell slightly ajar.

Theo cleared his throat and looked down, his hands sliding from my forearms to my hands and giving each hand a light squeeze. He looked back up to me, his icy eyes darting to mine.

"We believe Alpha Hayden took Ella."
