《Alpha Theo || ✓》18 | relax big bro

I was back on another adventure. Not my fault Theo constantly leaves me alone and I get bored easily.

But this time I was more cautious, I knew that there were more pack members that were home and I wasn't sure if I was ready to be greeted by them just yet-- Theo and I haven't even established our relationship yet, or if there was a relationship to begin with.

In all honestly, both my wolf and I were tired of fighting. All my wolf wanted was to be close to our mate, she wanted nothing else but to with Theo while I was trying to avoid the bond. I wanted-- no, I tried to tell myself that I wanted nothing to do with Theo but I was tired.

I was tired of fighting the bond, it would only grow stronger the closer we were and the longer we were together.

Hell, we spent what felt like forever in each-other's arms and not one moment that we sat there did I feel to move, did I want to move. I felt safe in his arms, no matter how many times I told myself that I couldn't trust him, that I shouldn't trust him.

Theo was my mate, and it was time I accepted it. It was time I looked over how we met, no matter how questionable, and it was time that I finally accepted my fate-- and that was to do with him.

Walking out of the room, I was questioning whether or not it was a good idea to be roaming the halls of a pack house where no one knew who I was or why I was there. There were so many people here I began to wonder how many pack members truly lived him.

The (pack name) held many people and they were known to be one of the biggest packs out there, so there was undoubtedly more than one pack house, but how many were in this one?

Just as I was stuck in my thoughts, a shoulder smashed into mine as I walked causing me to stumble back almost losing balance.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" I heard the other person shriek, she began rambling about how sorry she was for banging in to me. When I had gotten steady, I looked up to see a girl in front of me with her eyes wide as she apologised over and over again.

It was an understandment to say she was beautiful, she had long shiny black hair that cascaded on each of her shoulders, her skin looked indescribably smooth. She had freckles that sat on the top of her nose then sprayed towards her cheeks however it was her eyes that caught me;

A familiar electric blue was staring right back at me.

"Are you okay?" I shook out of my trance, nodding my head at the frantic girl.

"Yes, I'm absolutely fine don't worry." I gave her a smile, my reassurance giving the girl in front of me something to smile about. "It was my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going." The girl scoffed playfully, her hand swatting in the air.

"Bull, I wasn't paying attention one bit!" She let out a small giggle, before pausing and looking at me-- almost scanning me. "I don't believe that we've ever met, and I've met everyone." She laughed again.

Damn she's giggly.

I gave her another smile, not knowing what to do with my face. I told you,I'm not good with new people.

"I'm Holly." I held my hand out to her which she gracefully took, a wide smile spread across her face as she fully greeted me.

"I'm Cardella, but call me Ella-- Cardella makes me sound like some evil princess." My eyes widened at the mention of her name.

Cardella.

That was the person that Grey had mentioned was missing to Theo earlier today-- she was Theo's sister.

"Oh gosh, I thought you were missing! Are you okay?" I didn't meant to babble, it was a problem of mine. I knew the question sounded odd, someone you just met asking if you're okay after an alleged disappearance-- and I knew Cardella felt the same by the way her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at me.

"How did you..?"

"Oh-- I was there when Theo was told." I spoke sheepishly, shrugging my shoulders as I spoke. Again, Cardella sent me another confused look as she tilted her head slightly.

"You call the Alpha, Theo?" I widened my eyes again at her question.

It was disrespectful to call an Alpha-- no matter if he wasn't your Alpha-- by their first name without their principle.

"Oh-- well I-- I am--" I fumbled on my words, I didn't know what to do. Do I tell her that I am her brother's mate? Do I lie and say something else? Would she even believe her if I told her?

Gosh, I probably looked like a crazed person stuttering with every word she said.

"Well?" Cardella urged me to continue, her eyebrows raised as she awaited my answer.

When I had opened my mouth to speak, a voice that wasn't mine was heard causing Cardella to jump and spin to the owner of the voice.

"She's my mate, Ella." Theo stood behind Cardella, his arms crossed over his chest as a ghost smile sat on top of his face while he watched both his sister and I.

Was he there the entire time, even during my incredibly embarrassing brain-fart?

At the words, Cardella's eyes widened like saucers, looking between Theo and I; "Oh my god." She spoke, her mouth gaping as if she was a fish in real need of some water.

I looked up at Theo to see that he wasn't watching his sister, but instead his gaze was stuck on me with an indescribable emotion shining in his eyes.

Their eyes! Both Theo and his sister share the same electrifying blue eyes, how could I have not placed them?

"This is so sick!" Came out of Cardella's mouth, causing Theo to roll his eyes. Suddenly, I was engulfed by arms holding me in their tight grip and a sound of a loud growl could be heard throughout the hallway.

"Be careful with her, Ella!" Theo scolded his sister, whose arms were threatening to crush me. Ella pushed off of me, her arm lazily sitting on top of my shoulders.

"Oh relax big bro, she isn't made of glass." She joked, a playful smile on her face as she faced her sibling. Theo once again rolled his eyes, muttering a whatever to his little sister.

I looked between both Ella and Theo, how could these two be related.

For only knowing Ella for less than five minutes, I could tell she was so much more light-hearted than her big brother. She was playful and fun and she couldn't seem to stop giggling while-- she was oozing with happiness.

And then there is Theo, it was clear than Theo wasn't as sunflowers and rainbows as Ella was. Theo seemed firm and in control, he didn't seem to let an emotion slip while he was with others. Looking at them both together, the only similarity I could see between them were their eyes.

Not even their hair was the same. Theo's held a chestnut tone that seemed to be naturally wavy while Ella's hair was a slick black, as straight as a line but as shiny as a freshly cleaned sliver spoon.

"So," Ella began. "How did you two meet?" She jumped giddy. I couldn't help but stifle a giggle of my mine at her question, and at how red Theo's face got-- probably recalling how we in fact met.

"Oh-- well I-- I mean--" Just like me moments ago, Theo was stuttering all over the places and I took all in me not to laugh in his face right there and then.

Was that how I looked like? Gosh, that's hilarious!

"He kidnapped me." I turned to the side and gave Ella a sarcastically wide grin, my cheeks going so high as to squint my eyes. Ella's eyes however widened in shock as she took in what I said, looking back at her brother then back to me then back at her brother, narrowing her eyes.

"You kidnapped your mate? Are you a fool?" Ella critisied her brother's ways, shaking her head before looking back at me. "Sorry for my brother," She chirped up. "He's an idiot." A smile as wide as can be was plastered on her face and she gracefully ignored the snarl that came out of Theo's mouth.

"Get lost, Ella." She rolled her eyes before sticking her tongue out childishly at her big brother.

"See you around Hols." She winked at me before disappearing down the hallway.

God, I don't think I've met someone so happy with their life than Ella seems to be. There was never not a smile on the girl's face-- and to be honest, it lightened up my mood slightly.

I turned back at Theo, almost jumping back when I noticed by close we seemed to have gotten. In mere seconds while my back was turned, he managed to almost close the distance between us.

"So, that was your sister." I tried not to tremble my words as I spoke, the distance-- or lack of-- between us freezing me of any confidence I had in me. Theo nodded and hummed in response, his hand going on to cradle strands of my face that had fallen in front of my ear. "You found her quick."

Theo rolled his eyes, kissing his teeth as he looked in to my eyes; "She wasn't missing, just went on a run without permission." I raised an eyebrow.

"She needs permission to run?"

Theo's eyes fluttered as his attention was back on my hair, his hand occassionally skimming the nape of my neck causing a shiver to go down my spine unconsciously. While I wished Theo didn't notice, he did, the corner of his lip twitching up into a smirk.

"It's been a dangerous time lately. Permission means protection and I protect people I care about." He spoke up, pulling a strand of hair back behind my ear-- his touch tingling.

He protects people he cares about.

But does that mean me?
