《Sang Insane | ✔》Chapter Thirty Four

Nathan's POV

My first feeling was hurt.

Pain.

Sadness.

No, I wasn't injured. My cat didn't die. I don't even have a cat.

Did Sang really not realize how much we cared for her?

How could she want us to be with another girl?

And she wasn't even a great person. From what I could see, Samantha was a desperate **** of a *****.

But I don't know Samantha. Maybe she is a good person and desperate because she is in a bad situation and out of alternate options.

And Ryder. That **** would not leave Sang alone. From proposing to her, to dropping awful one liners, to kissing her cheek when she broke her record.

Did she not like us like that?

Did she like Ryder?

Was she messing around with our minds?

Was this just so she could leave her home?

Were we being used?

Then again, Sang blushed and turned to talk to us when he proposed and kissed her on the cheek. The one liners left her pretty confused, as well.

I sighed as I realized.

We were in the wrong.

Sang didn't tell him to cut it out because we do the same.

My brothers and I tell her that we are normal and then flirt with her and pull Sang onto our laps. ****, we even sleep with her!

How is she supposed to understand that the normal between us is different than the normal between her and others?

We flirt with her and tell her it is normal, but get mad at her when others flirt with her? How is that okay? We have no claim to Sang.

Yet.

Once we have felt with her mom and sister, maybe we could slowly get her used to the idea.

We need to have her spend time with other normal people we trust.

Maybe we should have her spend time with Jessica?

I sent a text to Mr.Blackbourne saying that we need to talk.

I was ashamed of myself.

How could I think that of Sang?

She clearly isn't using us.

Sang has yet to lie to us and hopefully it will stay that way.

I turned and smile at Sang who was riding with me, Silas, and Gabriel.

Sang sees my smile and beams.

My perfect peanut.

Sang's POV

As we arrive at the mansion, I fling open the door.

"Honey! I'm home!" I bellow.

"Does that make me Honey?" Paprika teases.

I smile.

"Sure, Paprika! That can be your nickname!" I announce happily.

I crouch down and waddle inside the house flapping my arms like wings.

"Umm... Sang? What are you doing?" Brandon asks.

I roll my eyes and, in my best duh tone, answer, "Being a duck and waddling. What are you doing?"

Luke laughs at this and we all make our way to the living room.

I throw myself at the couch, but strong arms catch me back.

I am pulled back and can smell that it Silas by his ocean smell.

"Silas," I huff. "I want to sit down!"

"Okay," Superman responds simply.

He sits down with me on his lap.

I guess it is as close as I am gonna get.

Kota speaks up, "Ten, how did you know that it was Silas that grabbed you?"

"Oh, his smell."

I play with Silas's fingers before an idea pops into my mind.

I jump up and plop down on Victor's lap and grab his hands to play with.

"Sang, I am confused!" Gabriel announces.

"Don't worry, Gabriel. That can be cured by the electric chair. Lucky for you, I made my own. It's in my garage. The voltage is a bit too high, but you are welcome to use it," I assure him.

Meanie pales.

Frantically he explains, "No! I'm good! I meant why did you switch laps?"

Silas looks a little sad.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Superman. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. But look at how long Victor's fingers are! They make better trees for my unicorns to play in," I say holding up his hand.

As a pianist, his fingers are long and slender.

I never had toys growing up, but I am sure they are this fun.

Silas chuckles as I go back to playing with Victor's hands.

I hum to myself as the boys talk to each other.

Maybe want they were saying was important, maybe it wasn't. I wasn't paying attention at all.

Soon, my humming turns to singing.

There are no words, just notes soaring out of my mouth.

When I am finished, there is silence in the room.

I open my eyes to see the boys all looking sorta dazed and stunned.

I blush and duck my head.

Prince asks finally, "Sang, am I allowed to turn that into a composition for the piano?"

I beam.

"Of course, Prince!"

Wow! I can't believe he actually likes my singing!

I hope up and run to the kitchen.

I am hungry!

Then, I find it.

The fruit of my dreams.

I let out a squeal and grab the glass container of cut pineapple.

I love pineapple!

I am so glad that North Star introduced me to pineapple!

The boys race in.

"I heard screaming!" Kota shouts.

"Sang Baby! Are you okay?!" North Star bellows.

"Chill, y'all. First, it was a squeal, not a scream. Second, I just found the pineapple, " I explain waving them off.

"I take you like pineapple?" Corey asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I love it! It has been my lifelong dream to own my own pineapple tree!"

"My baby don't dream big, but she sure does dream hard," Sarah sniffles dramatically.

Star cackles with hysterical laughter.

"Umm... Ten? You do realize that pineapples don't grow on trees?" Kota says slowly.

I gasp.

"My whole life is a lie!" I cry.

Now I need some food to comfort me.

Through my sobs, I eat chunks of pineapple.

"There, there," Luke says comfortingly.

I pop in one more piece and race to the living room where I secure a spot on the couch.

And by secure, I mean I clutch the arm rest and wrap my legs around the couch as best as I can with my height.

The boys come in and laugh at me, but I don't care.

Seriously, people don't go from no interaction with others to being perfectly used to sitting on laps whenever they sit down.

It's weird.

Very weird.

Unlike me.

I am a simple and straightforward person.

Thankfully, no one makes me move.

With the older five of them at school, there are enough seats.

Meanie races downstairs and comes back in the living room with the deck of cards.

"We are playing Texas Hold 'Em whether you like it or not!" Meanie declares cheerfully.

I am about to ask how to play when Sarah stops me.

"Don't worry, Sang. I know how to play from watching the people when Father took us to the fight clubs."

Oh...

Huh.

I never thought that beating the weaklings at all those fight clubs would actually have a benefit.

I shrug and accept my cards.

The three of us begin to play together against the boys.

I wonder if this is a hard game.
