《Sang Insane | ✔》Chapter Twenty Eight

I wake up confused.
Why am I sandwiched between two warm people on a cloud?
I look at them and remember.
Oh, yeah.
"Wow, Sang. And this is why you need us. You would be lost without us," Star declares.
I wholeheartedly agree, but I don't like how she said it.
I would be lost without them, but I am not stupid, am I?
Eh.
It's not like people stick around for my brain. Actually, no one sticks around me except for these fourteen and I have no clue why they stick around me.
I love that I am allowed to sleep with them. My nightmares never leave my mind when I am with them. Plus, they keep me warm.
I silently slip out of the bed and walk to my suitcase in a closet in the hall. I quickly get ready for the day. Today is Monday so there is still school.
I hate school.
It is completely pointless and full of meanies.
I take a quick bath in one of the bathrooms.
Grumpily, I let Sarah pick out my clothes. I change into a black t-shirt with a white tiger head on it and white leather pants. Next, I pull on white converse.
Star helps me do my makeup so I am wearing eyeliner and mascara.
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate eye makeup?
I always manage to stab myself in the eye. Always.
While they are still asleep, I head downstairs to make breakfast for them.
I cook oatmeal with brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and chunks of apple in the oatmeal. I dish the bowls up according to when they wake up.
I just finished dishing out Mr.Blackbourne's oatmeal when he comes down the staircase.
I hand him his bowl and line the bowls on the counter.
Slowly, the boys all come down until Gabriel and Raven are the only ones still asleep.
"We need to wake Gabe and Raven up before they cause us to be late," Kota announces looking at his watch.
"No way am I waking them up again!" Luke cries.
"Why not, Always?" I ask curiously.
"Why not?" Luke repeats incredulously.
Silas looks at me.
"Maybe Aggele mou should be the one to wake them up," Superman suggests.
They have their eye conversation while I have my mental conversation.

"Why are they making a big deal about waking them up?"
"Well... It's probably like what happens when we don't wake you up and someone else tries to," Sarah answers.
Oh.
We are not the easiest or nicest to wake up.
"Sang, if you are fine with it, we would like to ask you to wake them up," Pug says.
Okay.
I wait patiently.
They all state at me doing nothing.
Finally, I lose my patience.
I throw my hands in up in the air and cry, "Well, are you gonna ask me are not?"
Seeing their stares, I elaborate, "You said you would like to ask. Are ya gonna ask me or not?!"
These boys aren't very bright, are they?
I shake my head at how blond they are.
Corey laughs, "Sang, would you mind waking them up?"
"Not at all," I say giving him a warm smile.
Not that my smile was heated or cooked or anything. It was just a smile that makes me feel warm inside.
I tried to warm up Marie's smile once.
She did not like that.
At all.
I suppress a shiver and shamble upstairs into Meanie's bedroom.
Normally, I would try to wake him up and still give him space, but clearly that will not work if the others don't like waking him up.
I flip on the light switch and resist the temptation to prank him again.
I lean down and shake his shoulders and call, "Gabriel? Wake up, Meanie!"
Gabriel rolls over.
Which wouldn't have been a problem normally.
However, Gabriel did not just give a little turn. He flipped completely over and on top of me.
I push at him.
"Ugh! Meanie! Wake up!" I whine.
Somehow, between the pushing and yelling, Gabriel managed to wake up.
"Sang?" He says in a husky voice.
"Meanie! Thank goodness you are awake! I tried to wake you up and you rolled on top of me!" I huff.
For some reason, Gabriel tensed up, but now he is relaxed and getting off of me with a chuckle.
I scramble up and walk out of his room, closing the door behind me to give him some privacy while he gets dressed.
Next is Raven.
Luke seemed scared to wake him up so I will need to be careful, I guess.

"Raven?" I call in Russian.
Star helps me by using her brainy powers to lift the covers off of him.
I blush immediately.
Raven is in only his underwear.
He has a lot of tattoos, but my favorite is the large bear in his back.
I stop blushing.
Well, if he is comfortable with being in his underwear, why should I be uncomfortable, right?
I smack his shoulder kinda hard and say, "Wake up, Big Bear!"
Raven slowly opens his darkened eyes and says in a morning voice, "Should I show you how we Russians like to wake up with our wives?"
I roll my eyes.
"Big Bear, don't be ridiculous. We are not married. Now get ready. We all need to get to the school. Your oatmeal is on the counter."
"Big Bear?" Raven repeats smugly. Both of us are still speaking in Russian.
"Your tattoo. Plus, it seems to fit you," I explain.
Raven grins, "So you like my tattoo?"
I merely nod and walk out to let him get ready.
He is so handsome that I question whether or not he is real.
But, then again, who would program a robot like Raven?
Or dream up Raven?
Or hallucinate him?
He is too strange to not be real.
I grab my sparkly pink backpack and head down the stairs.
"We really need to get you a new backpack. Yours totally clashed with your clothes," Sarah says wrinkling her nonexistent nose.
"No way! I already let you pick my clothes! I love this backpack and am keeping it!" I declare.
Sarah sighs, "Fine. I guess I will never have a willing fashion model."
I ignore her since she is being dramatic.
I follow the boys outside and get in a SUV with Axel, Marc, Silas, Corey, Brandon, Luke, and Paprika.
I am buckled into the very middle seat before anyone can stop me and make me sit up front.
We ride to school and the bus is full of chatter.
I could join in the conversation, but I enjoy watching and listening to their animated conversations. Also, Master and Father never let me talk on our drives. Even though they rarely let me ride in the car, I still developed the habit to stay silent. In the bus, it is a little different, but I still don't like to talk.
Gabriel braids my hair back into a fishtail braid while I sit there silently. I am careful not to move so I don't ruin the braid.
By the time we are there, I am so happy to be out of that car.
"Finally!" I shout hurtling out of the SUV.
They like out laughing at my reaction. We are parked about a block away from the school.
"Why didn't we park in the parking lot?" I ask confused.
"We would draw a bit of attention of we all got there together," Axel explains.
Oh.
That is actually pretty good logic.
It is kinda strange to hear it coming out of a boy's mouth.
We leave in waves and I am in one of the last ones with Silas and Corey.
I skip along with them to keep up with their long and quick strides.
Humming a song, I skip into the school with the two of them.
We head to our first period classes where Corey and I sit with Kota and Luke.
My jaw drops as I see the Luke and Kota.
"Fancy seeing you two here!" I exclaim.
They all laugh and we take out what we need for class.
Soon, I am lost in an epic daydream.
Right before I can kill the evil lava ogre on my beloved pink unicorn with a green mane, I am snapped out of my daydream by the obnoxious bell.
Grumbling to myself, I gather my stuff and walk with Luke to math where Marc is sitting at his desk.
"Hello, Mr.Weiland!" I say cheerily.
Marc smiles widely and I sit down in my seat with Luke as North walks over to his seat behind me.
Marc begins the lesson and the school day passes with a blur.
***
Yuss!
School is out!
I do my happy dance before snarling.
Raven remembered to give me my chocolate this time, but he still owes me a chocolate bar and some revenge.
Good thing it will be revenge time soon.
Very soon.
I stop my dancing and snarling to let out an evil laugh and walk to the SUV ignoring the stares that I am receiving from the boys.

8 153Mana Soul
Like many others across the multiverse, Markus was chosen as this world's hero to fight against the steadily approaching cataclysm. Only, something went horribly wrong. Left with only a handful of memories, Markus has spent years clawing his way up from poverty and officially registered as an adventurer to try and make his fortune. Unfortunately, Artificers are the least combat-capable class of the four classes, and Markus has no connections to join an established party. With the fate of countless worlds hanging in the balance, a chance meeting will determine the course of a war nearly as old as reality itself. Warning: Markus has trauma induced amnesia and will occasionally 'act out of character' or make 'poorly thought out' decisions. These events are rather obvously telegraphed abd represent conflicts between his current personality and the one repressed alongside his trauma. Just something to bear in mind. The story will bounce predominantly back and forth between the primary protagonists every couple of chapters. The time stream is linear, so events are not revisted/rehashed/retold through the narrative format. Characters may comment on something that has occurred, but that's different. Just giving a heads up.Chapters will be around 7-9k and updated 1/week on the same schedule as my other story Ogre Tyrant over the weekend.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
