《Sang Insane | ✔》Chapter Twenty Seven

North's POV
I drove the black SUV back in the mansion's driveway.
I was deep in my thoughts.
Mr.Blackbourne had mentioned that we need to know Sang's birthday so we would have an idea of when Sang would legally be allowed to stay with us.
None of us were really concerned about following the law. We were, after all, a part of a mafia.
What bugged me is that none of us knew Sang's birthday.
We were all falling for a girl, but how much did we know about her? I wanted to know everything. She had my heart and I didn't even know her birthday.
It kind of hurt how little I knew about Sang.
I parked the car and everyone piled out.
I was getting out when the brothers I had driven all looked at me.
I let out a questioning grunt.
Nervously, they looked at each other until Raven stated bluntly, "Someone broke the window of your Jeep."
Rage and panic filled me as I looked at my Jeep and raced to it.
The window was missing and there were shards of glass covering the driver's seat.
"Who the **** did this?!" I roared.
All I feel is fury.
Hell hath no fury like a man whose car has been broken into.
I turned to my brothers livid.
There is only one suspect in my mind.
Luke.
It must have been Luke.
I turned and stormed into the house, slamming the front door open. Everything shakes from the force of the door.
"Luke! Were you the ****er who broke my **** Jeep?!" I bellowed angrily.
"What are you talking about?!" Luke shouted back slightly pale.
"My Jeep is ****ing broken, you ****!"
"Chillax, North! Let me see. None of us even heard an alarm go off," Luke appeased.
I grunt out my reluctant agreement and stalk to my car.
If there is a chance that Luke knows what is going on, I'm going to take the chance.
Luke scampered ahead of my and yelled, "Unlock it please! Oh, wait! Nevermind! I got it!"
He stuck his hand in the broken window and opened the door through the inside.
Then Luke rolled up the window.
What?
But...
The glass?
"Luke," I forced out. "Explain what is going on."

Luke laughed, "Someone, not me, pranked you. And did so epically!"
I growled out a warning.
Killing my own brother wasn't my plan for today.
But I am willing to improvise.
I clenched my fists and focused on calming myself down.
Sang Baby would not be happy with me if I killed Luke.
"Who did it if it wasn't you?" I challenged.
Luke shrugged his shoulders and walked back in the house.
"Mr. Taylor Jr., take a walk," Mr. B ordered.
I stomped off to the woods to get my focus.
I didn't know who pranked my Jeep, why they would, or how I could find the answers.
But, I did know that I needed to calm down.
Some people use anger and work better mad.
Others, like me, get clouded by their fury and make bad decisions.
Sang Baby would not be happy if I made a bad decision.

Sang's POV
I wake up to hear North Star yelling at Luke.
I burst out into silent laughter trying not to alert anyone that I was awake.
I really, really, reeeeeaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyyy like the boys, but a girl does need her alone time.
Seriously.
I'm not used to being around other people 24/7.
Listening, I can tell that my plan worked perfectly.
Of course.
I smile before getting out of bed and stretching my tired limbs.
I spend about thirty minutes doing stretches that would be considered impossible.
Apparently, my bones are "made different" whatever that means and I am much more flexible than should be possible.
I am in the middle of a deep stretch when the door gets flung open by Meanie yelling, "Rise and shine, Sa— Sang?"
I look at him from where I am upside down in a stretch that would be impossible for anyone else.
"Yes, Meanie?"
He turns a little red and says, "What are you doing, Sang? How are you doing that?"
"I'm stretching because I just woke up to North Star yelling and needed to stretch out my limbs. I am able to stretch like this because my brain sends different directions to my body and created my bones different than the average humans," I answer simply.
I slowly come out of my stretch until I am standing right side up again.

Gabriel is now bright red.
"I-I'm going t-to go since you are already awake. Come dow-down when you are ready," Meanie stutters.
I shrug my confusion off.
I make Gabriel's bed since I took my nap in his bed and messed it up.
I straighten my clothes and head downstairs silently.
I walk up to Luke who is looking at his phone.
"Did you guys need me?" I ask curiously.
Luke jumps and looks at me shocked.
"I will never get over how quietly you walk, Cupcake!" Luke announces.
I shrug and give him pointed look.
Still waiting for my answer here!
Luke gives me a sheepish look before finally answering, "It is almost dinner time. Marc cooked while you slept."
My eyes widen.
"How long was I asleep for?"
Luke smirks before leaning in and whispering, "Who knows? Something tells me you had something to do before you took your nap."
I blush because it was a stupid question and Luke's breath feels funny on me.
I nod and head to the kitchen where Marc instantly shooes me out before I can see what he is cooking.
Pouting, I make my way to the kitchen where Pug pulls me onto his lap.
I lean back and sulk until Pug asks me what's wrong.
"Marc won't let me see what is for dinner," I whine.
Pug chuckles, "He's probably trying to surprise you, Pumpkin."
"Fine," I respond exaggerating.
I smile at Pug and lean back against him again and he wraps his arms around me and rests his chin on my head.
We sit in silence while the other boys talk money each other. It is a comfortable silence. A silence between close companions.
I smile.
I can't believe how close I have gotten to the boys when I have never had a real friend before them.
Maybe I am just good at friends.
Or, more likely, they are perfect and merely tolerating me.
Marc comes in with the bamboo cart and starts handing out plates.
In each plate is a pink fish with rice and corn and carrots.
"Ooh," I breathe excited for the fish. I have always wanted to try a fish that wasn't soggy fish sticks from the cafeteria.
"What kind of fish is this?"
They all just sorta stare at me.
"This is salmon, Ms.Sorenson," Mr. Blackbourne informs me.
I smile and join them in eating.
The fish is one of the best things I have ever tried with a slight hint of lemon to it.
I let out a moan as I eat the fish.
It is truly delicious. Much better than I had even hoped for.
Pug stiffens up and lifts me up and gets out of his chair before setting me back down.
I watch, confused, as he exits the room and the boys give him a strange look.
I shrug at them and go back to eating.
Once we are all finished, I stand to put my plate up and walk over to Marc.
I lean over and give him a quick kiss on his cheek.
"Thank you so much for dinner, Filter. I have always wanted to try fish," I tell him beaming as I look into his different colored eyes.
A faint pink tinges his cheek and he beams back at me.
"It is my pleasure, Coffee Bean," Marc says almost smugly.
Huh?
Huh.
Oh, well.
I guess I should just accept that these boys do the strangest things that I will never understand.
I follow everyone, except for Superman who is doing the dishes, into the game room where Gabriel is thinking of a game for us to play.
Right before I can flop down on the couch, Corey asks shyly if I would sit on his lap. I smile and sit on his lap.
I like sitting on their laps because it makes me taller, warmer, and feel like I am loved.
I don't understand why they like me on their laps, though.
But I am definitely not going to ask them why and make them realize that I have the better end of the deal.
Meanie announces that we will play Would You Rather? which is followed by only a few groans.
Quickly, Gabriel explains, "We go in a circle asking a question of "would you rather this or this?" and everyone will answer."
I nod my understanding, happy to be playing a game with my family, and the game begins with the strange question of, "Would you rather have a rewind or pause button on life?"
And so it goes.

Alek, however, moved quickly, catching her mid-fall and keeping her upright, and alive. Claire lifted her eyes to meet his which were wide with alarm. The expression was fleeting, lasting for only a moment before it was replaced by a frown. A flush rose to her cheeks and she was grateful for the biting wind that masked her reaction.
