The fire seemed to be raging with time…all she could see was he was still inside and has still not come out…it was all red yellow and orange for her…she had to save him…What would happen to her he wasn’t there around her…

She needed to save him at all costs…

Akshara stepped forward to get into the warehouse to save him…

Arohi shouted, “Are you mad…don’t get inside helpers are coming….”

Akshara looked at her irritated and disgusted, “Do you really expect me to wait here till then…I can’t wait anymore…” and Akshara entered into those erupting flames to save him…who was her life…her Abhimanyu…

Akshara found Abhimanyu after a frantic search in a semi-conscious state, she could see the raging fire…she came near him and said, “Abhi…your Akshara is here now…nothing would happen to you…I love you a lot…so wait…I won’t let anything happen to you…even if it costs my life…”

Akshara found a doctor’s coat and mask and wore it and dragged Abhimanyu by covering him with a sack…her hands were wounded badly…just then…the wall above came falling down…and she pushed Abhimanyu to the other side and herself got injured on the shoulders and the head…but pain was nothing for Akshara whose life depended on him her Abhimanyu…

She finally was able to save him…she dragged him out and there she was…Aarohi waiting right at the back entrance…

“Akshara you….” Aarohi said shocked seeing blood all over her.

“It’s mine…don’t worry nothing happened to him…Save…sav….him first…I am fine…nothing happened to me….” She said choking badly and went unconscious.

Aarohi dragged Abhimanyu to a stretcher and took him back to the base camp ignoring Akshara’s condition.

Neil who came along with the workers was in relief seeing Abhimanyu all fine, but was shocked seeing Akshara’s state.

“Doctors….inform the ICU immediately a patient is coming….” Shouted Neil all tensed.

It was all darkness…was it the end…no it couldn’t be…he had so many things to do…he could hear someone coming for him… telling him he was still not alone…I am there for you…

He could vaguely remember someone in a doctor’s coat saving him…Akshara was it you…

Abhimanyu’s eyes jolted open all of a sudden only to see Aarohi and Neil beside him.

“Hmmm….Where is Akshara?” Abhimanyu asked tensed.

Before Neil could say anything, Aarohi said “She has already left…are you fine now…”

He saw Aarohi in white coat and her entire face covered with soot so he thought she saved him…

“Thanks Dr.Aarohi for saving me…”Abhi said grateful.

“You are welcome…” Aaru said shamelessly.

Neil could look up in horror. He thought of telling the truth to Abhimanyu after he relaxes a little,but this devilfish had changed the story entirely with her shamelessness.

What could he do now? He could only wait…

“Ok bro…since you are all fine I am rushing to the hospital…need to check on the patients…” said Neil and left in a hurry leaving Abhimanyu surprised.

His thoughts flew again… “Don’t you care for me also…that you left me on the deathbed…not thinking about me…?”

Meanwhile at the hospital,

The Goenkas’ were informed about Akshara’s condition so they rushed to the hospital all tensed. Vansh and Kairav were waiting outside theatre waiting for the doctors to come out…

Manish and Akhilesh were busy consoling the ladies…

Neil entered the corridor and Kairav saw him. Kairav rushed to him and asked him what happened and where was Aarohi.

Neil informed him everything and actually what happened at that time, how Akshara saved Abhimanyu and everything…

“And…Aarohi more than Akshara she’s concerned about my brother Abhimanyu….who is in minor injuries…she took the credit of saving Abhimanyu from Akshara also...” Neil said angrily.

“What??” Vansh shouted.

Kairav regretted his decision of wanting Akshara to sacrifice her happiness for Aarohi.

He regretted it badly.

Vansh informed the family of Akshara’s condition and Aarohi’s behaviour. The Goenkas’ were shocked to know about all this.

They all regretted sacrificing Akshara’s love for Abhimanyu because of Aarohi’s stubbornness…

But they were helpless now…they could wait and pray…pray for Akshara’s safe return…

The doctors came out of the ICU,

“Doctor! How is my sister’s condition?” asked Kairav

“ She is out of danger now…but…” doctor said.

“But what doctor…” Neil asked.

“She is in comatose state now…her head was injured badly…”

All were shocked…

Two weeks flew by…as if time was going very long. All were back to their normal lives expect Goenkas’, Neil and Manjari.

Goenkas’ took turn every day to stay with Akshara. She could hear them saying about their daily lives but she couldn’t hear him. Kairav and Vansh felt as if she was waiting for him only…every time his name was said there were high fluctuations in her parameters…but they couldn’t do anything…

Because when they tried…

“If you all take even a step forward…you all will see my dead face…Akshu is already in coma…if I die…then….” Aarohi’s maniac behaviour still worried them.

Aarohi was tensed as if Akshara would wake up…the truth would be out. Abhimanyu was behaving nicely to her now… She couldn’t let anything destroy this…

Manjari and Neil were tensed about Akshara’s condition. They used to visit Akshara when Abhimanyu was busy in surgeries and consultations. They had one tougher thing to do… to hide about Akshara’s condition from Abhimanyu.

While all this was going on one side, Abhimanyu although busy in his daily felt that something was going on… Something unknown to him.

His so called father had not given him any VIP cases since last two weeks. He was not allowed to go to the VIP ward…

But that was a complete relief. These days his brother and mother were also behaving weirdly, always whispering with each other.

Aarohi was behaving weirdly. She was not going home. She was doing late night shifts in hospitals.

What’s even weirder was HER…

He had not seen her since days…as if she never existed in his life…destiny had made them meet so many times unnecessarily but when required was not working out…

Why?

Was his love always one side only? Didn’t she love him at all?

His agitation was now turning into anger and confusion.

He was in his room when his mother came with the dinner plate. He ate quietly, but then he thought of clearing his mind by talking to his mother.

“Mother…this love is so weird naa…when love is shown and not spoken it can create such big confusions….” Abhi said. Manjari listened to him quietly.

“Ma…all girls are selfish…they only think about themselves…they show the care and concern as if it’s their life…but when we show the care…they show rejection Maa...See that Akshara only…she did so many things for us…I thought she loved me…but…she is also a hypocrite and selfish Maa….”

“Akshara…let’s not talk about her okay…” Manjari said tensed.

“Why not Maa…she told once that love is all about togetherness and sacrifices…but she left me there in the fire all alone Maa…how can there such a selfish girl… a girl who only thinks of herself….” Abhi was cut off my Manjari’s shout.

“Stop it Abhi…just stop it…she is not a selfish girl okay….”

“Wow…even my mother is taking her side…she is a girl who has done black magic on all…” Abhi said forgetting his sense.

“Abhi…you should talk like that son…”Manjari said.

“Why can’t I Maa…a selfish, hypocrite….”Abhi said.

“STOP IT NOW…!!! Abhimanyu…you can’t talk about people who are in deathbed like that….” Manjari shouted.

‘Deathbed…Akshara…’

“I said nothing Abhimanyu…leave this talk here…” Manjari said leaving the room but Abhimanyu caught her hand.

“What did you meant by earlier Maa...?” Abhi asked.

“Nothing…I said nothing…”Manjari tried to escape.

“Maa you used the words Deathbed and we were talking about Akshara…what did you mean by that…” Abhimanyu asked all tensed.

Did something happen to her?

Why didn’t he know it?

Was that why he couldn’t see her…?

What was every one hiding from him?

“Maa it’s useless to keep it from him now…let’s tell him…” Neil said entering the room.

“What…you know too…” Abhi said all shocked.

“She went into the warehouse that day…to save you…she saved you too…but she was heavily injured as a wall collapsed on her hurting her shoulders and head…she is in coma since last two weeks…” Neil said.

She saved him…

She was in comatose since last two weeks…

She almost died for him…he kept thinking she didn’t love him…

But she loved him so much that…she was in deathbed now…!!!

Abhimanyu’s world crashed instantly.

“Wasn’t it Aarohi...” Abhi said.

“She lied…to you…” Neil said but…Abhimanyu had already disappeared.

He was sitting lifelessly on a bench outside her room. He had no emotions on his face, eyes red because of crying, hands joined silently praying to the god that nothing happens to HIS AKHARA.

He went inside only to see her lifelessly with all wires attached to her…he couldn’t do anything for her…

Did he deserve her love…?

He doubted her love for him….

“You only doubted her because you cared too deeply for her son…go and talk to her…she needs you badly…” Manish said patting his shoulders.

He came inside and sat beside her bed,

“Are you an idiot…or completely stupid person Akshu hahh…you almost died saving me…you know I love you so much…I saw you on that day on Ganga ghat singing…so I followed you …but you vanished that day… and I shamelessly picked up the locket you left there…I didn’t even know when I would meet you next but luck beholds me…I saw you two days alter at the hospital…your eyes they speak a lot…our every moments…but you rejected me…I didn’t feel bad…you were always there for me and my family…I feel I wasn’t there for you Akshu…I even doubted your love for me…I know I don’t deserve you but….you showed your love to me…but you didn’t give me a chance show my love for you Akshu…Akshu…please come back…Your Abhimanyu needs you…please come back Akshu…I LOVE YOU…I LOVE YOU SO DAMN MUCH…!!!

And cries badly holding her hand. Akshara’s eyes are also moist listening to him.

She knows he is feeling guilty.

She knows he love her…very much.

She needed to reply to him that she also loved him to death…

A few more days passed by. Abhimanyu almost accompanied her every day, talking to her and telling jokes much to Aarohi’s irritation. Aarohi was blocked was entire Goenkas’ and she now knew she could do nothing.

Akshara wanted to come back…she had enough of it…she wanted to hug him badly…wanted to spend more timewith him…she need to open her eyes now…She could do it…

And then her eyes fluttered open….

The brightness of the room initially shocked her. She turned around to see Abhimanyu who was sleeping holding her hand.

He was looking cute while sleeping. She ruffled through his hairs… and woke him up…

She was shocked to see her smiling at him.

“Am I dreaming…it is such a nice dream” said Abhi which made Akshara giggle. Abhimanyu was lost in her smile.

She pinched him bringing him back to reality…

“You are back….”he said not believing his eyes.

“I am back…” she said.

Abhimanyu forgot everything and then remembered the cause of the accident.

“Akshu who told you to jump to save me…What if something had happened to you….”

“And if something had happened to you…” Akshara said.

They both stared at each other, finally Abhimanyu accepted his defeat.

“Now tell me what you were saying when I was asleep…”

“What did I say…” Abhi said acting ignorant.

“Arey…the same thing you say every time kissing my forehead…” Akshara said.

Abhimanyu was shocked…how did she know…

Akshara laughed seeing his expressions…

“I love you Akshara…I love you so damn much…” he said kissing her forehead.

Akshara smiles at him happily

“I love you too my one and only idiot Abhimanyu…” said Akshara.

They both hugged each other tightly forgetting about Akshara’s condition. Akshara winced in pain pulling them back to reality.

“So sorry… I forgot” Abhi said scratching his head.

“Aww…you are such a cutie pie…” Akshu said.

“I am not cute…” Abhi said.

“You are….”

“I am not…” Abhi said irritated.

“You are my cutie pie…” she said pulling his cheeks…

Abhimanyu could only sigh in defeat.
