"The Pawn...

Knight. The Rook, Bishop.

The Queen and King. These were the things that kept us in order. They are still there, yet, everything seems to be falling apart." –

...

"How long will he be unconscious for?"

"A few days, maybe. Depends on how fast his recovering abilities is." The pack Doctor replied.

My hands moved to Caspian's, with my brows knotting worriedly.

"Cassandra, get a room close to this chamber for the pack Doctor. He would be staying here till the King recovers." I ordered sadly.

"As you wish, milady."

She went out with him, closing the door behind us, and leaving us completely to ourselves. The room became silent, afterwards. Caspian's pale face was directed to me, making tears stung under my eye lid.

"When are you going to wake up, Caspian?"

I swallowed, saying.

"I miss you, already."

"Not being with me, hurts, you know. It makes me wonder how things would have turned out if I listened to you from the start." I murmured miserably.

My hands tightening around his hands which weren't moving. In hurt, I remembered his last words before he collapsed.

Save me, Ava.

"I will save you, Caspian."

I shuddered afterwards, with my nasal contents dripping so hard. I began to cry out so loud at everything that's being happening...

The way the enemies kept multiplying and us not progressing in any single way. As we found another way, it seemed like another thing blocked.

"I will save us,"

I stood up from my spot instantly, walking to the dresser. I cleaned off any ounces of tears that was remaining, straightening my attire like a true Queen's.

With multiple guards positioned to guard him, I opened the door instantly with my chin up high. My feet moved to where the perpetrators to his attack, were. The Dungeons.

"My Queen, are you sure you can do this?" Elder Zu, asked, with a worried expression.

"I will."

I answered, my eyes in a look of vengeance. I took the sword I asked for, to be made. It was the best of all kinds, made with the strongest of irons. For me.

I opened the door to the dungeons to do what I didn't do in a while. Nynaeve was already positioned, already chanting her spells.

"Is it done?" I asked, with withheld anger.

"Almost."

She replied, before carrying on. The spells were to remove a wielder's pearl. As the best of the best, there wasn't a spell Nynaeve was incapable of doing, in her generations as a witch.

I gave a grin as Lydia shouted in agony, while Francesca shuddered on her spots at what was happening.

To think they dared team up, coming to over throne Caspian showed the guts they had.

Thanks to Elder Zu, Alpha Alcander and Nynaeve, we were able to catch the shooter.

"What w-would you gain from killing me?"

Francesca asked, in a shaky tone.

"This, is for those innocent girls you preyed on. For those girls whose senses you messed with, and my mate."

"You might want to re-think this, Ava." Francesca snickered, baring her fangs.

"Queen Ava."

I said, not even waiting for her to say anything again. I slashed through her neck forcibly with all the strength in me.

Her head rolled to the floor.

At it, I felt relief course through me, surprisingly.

"Spirits of unbalance, take course now!" Nynaeve chanted at Lydia. "Give back to nature what she stole!"

I grinned deviously, when she begun trembling on the floor, with dead Francesca's blood all over me.

A pinkish-orange substance emanated from Lydia's body that instant. Almost like she has vomited it. Nynaeve's eyes connected with mine, in a fulfilled look.

As she handed it to me, I scrunched in tightly in my hands, before putting it in a bottle which was to be sent to where it rightfully belonged.

"Please..."

As Lydia trailed those words out, tears occupied my eyes at the thought of the ex-queen's death.

"Weren't those the same words Lady Archer said, when you killed her?" I let out. "Did you heed it? How about those poor girls Teta let die for no reason? Didn't you watch it too?"

"Didn't you enjoy your status as Knight? Or should I mention how you tricked us all, into believing you were dead?!" I exclaimed bitterly, knowing I used to look up to her.

My hands trembled, so did my mouth quiver at the thought of a wasted potential like her.

I shook my head, with my hands into a fist and my lips pressing firmly.

"He will come! My mate will avenge my death, you fool!"

She yelled angrily, with a vicious glare. My sword lifted, knowing ending her now would solve half of our problems.

"Let him come."

Her head rolled the minute I slashed through it. When her blood splattered at me, I didn't feel relief like Francesca's, instead, it was wonder.

At what was coming after us, afterwards.

"Burn their remains to the grounds." I spat out, to Nynaeve.

She begun her spells hastily, after asking for a bunch of stakes to seal their deaths.

My feet dragged outside, scraping the floor after I saw both their ashes. Elder Zu was just at the entrance of the dungeon.

"No sign of Satandra and Cicilia, still." he informed me. "The guards just came back with this message. I believe they weren't part of the attack."

They weren't part?

"They definitely disagreed." I mouthed off.

Maybe they learnt their lessons after all.

"Summon me, Felicia." I said, before walking away.

...

The minute I broke the news about her sister's death, the old woman begun sobbing.

"I warned her to back off."

She started her words sorrowfully. "I told her, but she wouldn't listen."

I rested my back, sinking into the throne I was sat on, in wonder at these two twins. The evil one, had tried to kill the good one in the past, yet the good one still bred sympathy for her sister.

I arrived at one thing, having this piece of knowledge.

"My withheld condolences."

"I-it's an honor to receive these words from you, My Queen." Felicia let out. "In spite of what you had to go through in her hands."

I scoffed at her words instantly. Standing up from my throne carefully, knowing I had to watch my steps in the early stages of pregnancy.

"I'm aware you released her."

She gasped, with her eyes widening in a scare.

"Please forgive me, Ava! I let her words get to me, which shouldn't have been!!" Felicia cried out, bowing down on the floor, and crumbling to her knees.

"I understand she was your sister, thus, that made the possibility of that weakness. However, I'm very much aware you know this is treason, Knight Felicia." I revealed calmly.

"Y-yes... I do." she said, sobbing.

"I'm giving you a choice to leave the castle quietly, with a reward for your services..."

"Or to stay in your rank, and endure what happens when everyone discovers you were one of the traitors."
