《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》66

Maybe it’s because Lisa, who only wore the thin school uniform in such cold weather, was too eye-catching, or maybe it was that the two of them were so noticeable that one couldn’t help but take a glance.
The Biology teacher remembered when Lisa took the initiative to look for him in the office. He had thought there was something wrong, but Lisa had come to ask for leave, not for himself but for “his table mate”, saying that his tablemate was sick and that if it was possible could she be excused from class.
The Biology teacher finally understood how the head teacher felt when he called Lisa in to talk. These days, there are more and more students who secretly fall in love, but there has never been a case of premature love like Lisa and Jennie.
But despite all of this, there was really no reason to refuse Lisa’s request. After all, Jennie was still his best student. Now that she was ill, it would seem ruthless and unreasonable if he didn’t agree to Lisa’s request.
Thinking of this, the Biology teacher couldn’t help but take a glance at Jennie and Lisa. Upon further observation he noticed the thin clothes on Lisa and shuddered uncontrollably.
It seems that the school heating is not working well.
After class, Jackson’s good brothers patted Jackson on the shoulder, “Brother, accept your fate.”
It’s not that they were attacking Jackson, but they hoped that he realized that against Lisa he had no way to fight. In the beginning they thought that Lisa’s height was his one flaw, but the result was that Lisa grew like a weed.
He might even surpass Jackson’s height one day.
Now in the eyes of these brothers, Jackson is no better than Lisa, let alone Jennie.
“As the saying goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, Jennie perfectly matches Lisa. They are the definition of a power couple, so brother, accept your fate.”
Jackson:? ? ?
Am I not your good brother?! If you’re going to cut at least do it gently!
“In fact, there is another way,” the boy next to him suddenly said, “You could make Jennie see you as the type of guy she likes.”
His tone was deep, and he had a serious look on his face.
Jackson was energetic in an instant, and her eyes lit up, “What can I do?”
“There’s only one way!” The boy said, before he announced loudly, “You should recommend Jennie watch the “Cold Faced King Falls in Love With Me”!”
“The Cold Faced King Falls In Love With Me” was a historical drama that became very popular recently. It would be trending all over after every new episode was broadcasted. Due to this, the male lead of the drama Shi Xingyu grew even more popular every day. Everyday there were people who became his new fans.
But there was one other thing, Shi Xingyu was the star who looked like Jackson.
Jackson: ….
Everyone: “Hahahahahahaha.”
“Roll off and die!”, Jackson kicked the person out.
“I’m joking, I’m joking! Brother, I just want to make you happy. In fact, you think, you don’t have any similarities with Jennie. She will definitely test into a top school in the future, but looking at your grades that’s definitely impossible for you. Your grades are average compared to the likes of Lisa or Suho.”

The crowd of people next to him finally took away the brother who loved to tell the truth and didn’t look at him at all. Although it was really the truth, they felt that it was a truth that should have been said, let alone towards Jackson, he looked like he was about to cry.
_________
After Jennie took the pills and took an early rest, with her good foundation of health, she was good as new after two days. On the other hand, Gaeul blew her nose for the nth time and vowed, “After I get over this cold I will go running with you!”
Despite the both of them being around the same age, Jennie’s immune system was much more resilient than hers. Both Gaeul and Jennie had fevers but in the end the latter got better after two days while the former was still dizzy and dying every day.
Gaeul hung a trash bag next to her desk, which was specially used for tissues. While reopening a pack of tissues, she chatted casually with Jennie, “Jenjen, why do you want to study finance? I’m not sure what I want to study. My parents want me to be a teacher or maybe a college professor in the future but I would rather die than do that.”
This was simply the norm when applying for majors. Many parents want their children to apply for education related majors or to study medicine, since those resulted in either stable or high paying jobs. However, many students dislike these two majors, just like Gaeul, they would rather die then be teachers.
After all, they had already spent years in school being students, they didn’t want to spend the rest of their days at school either.
But after graduation, when one starts to look for jobs they would come to realize how difficult it was to find a good job. Due to this a large number of students come to regret their decisions. Why didn’t they listen to their parents? Some education related majors immediately have jobs directly after graduation. In addition to that, their long vacations during winter and summer breaks are also a reason for envy.
But not everyone thought this way. Jennie and Gaeul continued to chat about their future professions. During this time Lisa looked at the book in Jennie’s hands and asked, “Why do you want to study finance?”
Before, it had looked like Lisa was focused on reading his book, but it seems like he wasn’t as focused on it as she thought seeing as he fully heard her conversation with Gaeul.
Jennie gave a light cough, pretending to be serious, “Student Lisa, please correct your learning attitude.”
Lisa was stunned for a while and did not speak. On the other hand, Jennie suddenly realized her mistake. Why did she suddenly joke sarcastically with Lisa?
He couldn’t understand her joke.
Maybe it was because he had been acting so normal lately that there was no difference between him and others, that Jennie sometimes forgot that Lisa had Asperger’s Syndrome.
The main feature of Asperger’s Syndrome was that a person with it had difficulty understanding different ways of communication other than spoken language. Examples of this include micro expressions whether it be facial or body movements, and tonal differences while speaking. This leads them to have a hard time understanding jokes.

Jennie remembered an example that she read from a book about Asperger’s Syndrome. In it, an entrepreneur who had made a name for himself, said in a speech that he had Asperger’s Syndrome and used the most simple example to illustrate the inconvenience of this Syndrome.
The entrepreneur said that a friend once asked him jokingly, “Can you ask your watch what time it is?”
For normal people, this was a humorous and interesting way to ask for the time, but for this entrepreneur, he did not understand it.
He just found it impossible to understand, because his watch couldn’t speak, and it couldn’t tell his friends what time it was.
So even though he clearly knew what time it was since he was wearing the watch, he answered his friend’s question with, “ I don’t know.”
What happened after that was easy to understand. The friend thought that he deliberately reduced the time and gradually alienated him from then on.
Many years would pass before he realized what he had done wrong.
Even a 40-year-old successful entrepreneur couldn’t understand it, let alone Lisa who was only 17.
Jennie’s “Please correct your attitude towards studying”, in Lisa’s eyes, sounded more like Jennie unhappily reprimanding him.
Jennie looked at Lisa’s face in a daze, and hurriedly changed her words, “What I mean was that I saw you were reading, so I thought you didn’t hear us talking.”
Lisa was taken aback, and suddenly thought of something, before he nodded, “Okay.”
Although Lisa was still expressionless, to Jennie who was all too familiar with Lisa’s micro expressions, seeing his sudden silence, she knew that this seemingly small thing had an impact on him.
Jennie could only change the subject quickly and continue with the question Lisa had asked her just now.
“In the past I didn’t know what I wanted to study, but recently I became interested in the stock market so I wanted to learn a bit more about financing.”
Lisa was successfully distracted by Jennie, “You like the stock market?”
“I don’t necessarily like it, I’m just a little interested in it.” Jennie smiled, “I once read a biography called the “Stock God” once, and I thought it was very interesting. I admired how powerful it was.
Was it very powerful?
Lisa lowered his eyelashes thoughtfully, Jennie tilted his head to look at the pensive Lisa again, and suddenly thought about the new major that she had wanted to study before.
It was something she only thought about after meeting Lisa, and so later, because of his temporary departure and his sudden change, it was temporarily shelved. But today, Jennie suddenly remembered about it.
How could she forget that Asperger’s Syndrome could not be cured in a lifetime.
Coincidentally, when everyone was chatting together after class someone happened to tell a funny little story.
During this time both Lisa and Jennie were sitting next to one another, neither of them talking, and instead listening to the study. By the end of it everyone including Jennie couldn’t help but laugh, only Lisa was expressionless.
The boy who told the story saw Lisa’s expressionless face, and suddenly felt some self doubt, “Was it not funny?”
Is it funny?
Lisa asked subconsciously in his heart, he really didn’t understand what was funny in the boy’s story.
But other than him everyone was laughing, so it wasn’t that the joke was not funny, it was because he didn’t understand it at all.
Lisa suddenly felt his heart tighten.
Because he was able to stand up again, on the surface he seemed to be no different from others, just like a normal person, and more and more people no longer felt that he was not worthy of Jennie.
This feeling was so good that Lisa began to indulge in it, so much so that he almost forgot one cruel little fact that he couldn’t change.
Even if he could stand up, he was still different from everyone else.
He suffers from something that cannot be cured for a lifetime, Asperger’s Syndrome, in the eyes of many people was considered a mental illness.
How could he forget that in the end, he was still different from other people, and would always be different.
The sudden awkward silence that ensued made the boy who told the joke a little embarrassed, in order to save the atmosphere someone next to him hurriedly said, “The learning god might not have heard you haha.”
“You were too vague, of course Lisa wouldn’t understand it, his mind is built for learning and understanding complex problems, not for your silly jokes.”
The crowd laughed loudly, while Lisa sat stiffly in his seat. Suddenly felt that his right hand was pinched. Lisa turned his head in amazement, Jennie let go of his hand and slowly said, “Actually, I didn’t understand.”
“If you didn’t understand it then why’d you laugh at it?” The boy who told the story was shocked. Was his joke so difficult to understand?
“Well, it’s because everyone else was laughing.” Jennie said with a helpless look.
Then why’d you admit it now?!
The boy wanted to ask, but then he suddenly remembered Lisa’s expressionless and unintelligible look, and instantly realized. He then felt as if he was suddenly fed with not only a mouthful of dog food but the whole damn bag.
Everyone laughed for a long time, “Sure enough, a learning god’s brain is different from ours.” The cold atmosphere was immediately swept away and everything resumed to normal.
But Lisa who sat stiffly in his chair felt his hand slowly clench where no one could see.
