Since it was mid October the weather was not as hot as it was before, and so Jennie wore a pair of simple denim cropped shorts and a casual shirt, which in turn coincided with what Lisa was wearing.

Both of them had hidden the turbulence that had occured in their hearts when they realized the striking similarity in their outfits. On the surface their faces were still as calm and serene as always, masking inner turmoils from one another.

Despite the nutritious meals provided to him, due to being in a wheelchair and injured for so long Lisa hadn’t been able to grow very tall despite being in the optimal age for growth. But standing 1.78 meters his proportions were very good. With his straight body and slender long legs it created an illusion that he was taller then he actually was. In addition to his smooth skin and exceptional facial features, all the young children and teenagers in the dessert shop couldn’t help but stare at him or occasionally glance his way.

Jennie ordered the Strawberry Mousse which she liked very much, and after guessing Lisa’s preferences she ordered a drink that she thought he would enjoy.

While she was doing that, Lisa sat in his seat patiently, not paying attention to the many gazes glancing his way, his sight locked onto Jennie’s form.

Lisa had never been to this kind of commercial area, a place where young people would gather together. But for the first time since forever, Lisa could honestly say that he didn’t mind the atmosphere very much.

The reason for this being that he had noticed that most of the customers in the dessert shop belonged to two categories. The customers were either students who came with a group of friends, or they were couples.

Lovers.

Maybe some of the people present weren’t actually lovers, but most people would still assume they were. Due to this, Lisa couldn’t help but think that to them, he and Jennie also looked like a couple.

After Jennie finished ordering for the both of them, she returned to her seat opposite of Lisa. When she sat down he heard the quiet sighs of several girls sitting not far away from them. If one carefully listened to them, they would be able to hear what they are talking about.

“That little brother over there looks good, his skin is super clear and his facial features are exquisite.”

“It looks like an idol! You think if I ask for his WeChat ID, I would get it?”

“But there’s a girl walking towards him. Either it’s someone who decided to make the first move or it’s his girlfriend.”

“It seems to be”, the girl couldn’t hide her disappointment. Jennie’s back was facing her and so she couldn’t see the girls appearance. She could only stare at Jennie’s back for a while, “I don’t know what she looks like, but her legs are so long.”

Lisa used to hate that his hearing was too sensitive, because he would always hear things he didn’t want to hear, it was only now that he felt like his sensitive hearing was a good thing.

Lovers, couple, girlfriend, such words, even if he were to listen to them forever he wouldn’t get enough.

Jennie had ordered two different drinks and gave Lisa a cup of Grass Jelly Tea. After everything was ready, Jennie took a sip of her Pacific coffee and looked up at Lisa who was trying the drink carefully.

“How is it?”

She hadn’t tried the drink before, but because she knew that Lisa preferred sweet things, she asked the clerk for a sweeter drink. She didn’t know if Lisa liked it.

Lisa took a sip. It was cool and sweet, but not greasy.

“It’s good,” Lisa’s eyes looked up, and e pushed forward the cup, “Do you want to try,”

Jennie looked at the tea in Lisa’s hand, her heart stuttering. She then looked up to see the clarity of Lisa’s eyes and suddenly wanted to pinch herself for thinking too much.

After a moment of silence, she reached out and took it, “Then I will try.”

The cup in her hand was cold, and it was at a completely different temperature from the coffee she had just drunk. Jennie took a sip of the tea that Lisa had handed over and looked at her own cup of coffee, suppressing her unhealthy thoughts, she pushed the coffee cup towards Lisa .

“Then you try this, it’s sweet, but a little greasy.”

The smile on Lisa’s lips deepened, his light brown eyes stared at the coffee cup in front of him with excitement. Shyly and carefully he lowered his head and took a sip of coffee.

After he tried it, Jennie asked him with some worry, “How is it?”

Lisa held the warm cup with both hands, and gently bit the straw with his teeth, he did not dare to raise his eyes, and instead stared at the little cakes that decorated the table.

“I like this.”

Seeing Lisa drinking the coffee in such a well-behaved way, Jennie had the urge to reach out and touch Lisa’s head, but she held it back.

“If you like it then drink that.” Jennie smiled and looked out, then looked at the time, hesitated for a moment and then tentatively said, “It’s still early, there’s a theatre nearby, and just recently some new movies were released, so let’s go watch them together.”

Lisa lowered his eyes to hide the pure joy in them, the only noticible sign of his near bursting happiness was the tightening of his fingers on the coffee cup in his hands. But even that was so slight that one had to be looking for it to notice.

“Okay.” He said, but after he said it he was afraid that Jennie would suspect his quick response so he quickly added another sentence, “A new Marvel movie was released recently, and I wanted to see it.’’

Marvel movies were an American Hollywood blockbuster movie series and since she and Lisa started watching movies together, Lisa often looks for a variety of movies to watch. Nothing was better to watch than the Marvel series.

If dessert shops were more popular with girls, then the cinema was definitely a paradise for lovers. There were more couples here than at the dessert shop.

Looking at the couples waiting in line to get tickets together, the guilt that she had been suppressing in her heart bursted out again.

Stop it, she scolded herself. Her and Lisa were not a couple going to watch movies. Lisa had always liked the Marvel series, in addition to that, Lisa had never been to a movie theater. She just wanted him to try it.

She needed to stop thinking about so much.

After getting the tickets, Jennie asked Lisa to sit in the lounge area outside the cinema hall, while she buys some popcorn and drinks.

Just as she was about to stand up, Lisa grabbed her wrist. The boy looked at her and said, “I’ll go.”

“It’s okay , I’ll go.” Jennie was used to taking care of Lisa, even though Lisa could stand up now and was no longer bound to a wheelchair, she still subconsciously took care of him.

Although he could take care of himself now, Lisa has never been to such a place, he has never queued to buy things himself, and has never been to a place with such a high population density, so Jennie still subconsciously took care of him like she did before.

But Lisa wanted to go.

He has never done something like this before. There were too many people and it was so noisy that it made him uncomfortable. It is also a challenge for him to take the initiative to talk and choose when buying things, but Lisa still wanted to give it a try.

He wanted to try and see what it felt like to buy something for Jennie in person, and what it felt like when Jennie sat behind and stared at him when he bought something for her.

He could stand up now. He was no longer the disabled person who had to be taken care of by Jennie in everything. He also wanted to take care of Jennie. He also wanted to take care of her from the standpoint of a male like the other boys here.

Whether it be like a friend or someone he liked.

Jennie stared at the young man’s back in a daze. He looked upright, decisive, and with a slightly cute and powerful look.

Jennie pressed a hand against her heart in despair, and after a while she held her head feebly.

Jennie, you terrible cougar, can’t you even let a kid go?!

The Marvel series was definitely a favorite of many boys, so most of the people who came to watch the movie were boys. The four boys sitting next to Jennie looked like college students. Turning to look at Jennie, they couldn’t help but take a second look.

They saw the girl as soon as they came in. They didn’t know if she had company or not. But those things weren’t important. The important thing was that this girl was so beautiful that she could stand out among so many people even without makeup.

The four boys are all clean and handsome. The tallest of them, after doing some analysis and thinking, walked over with a light cough, and sat next to Jennie to say hello to her, “Hello.”

Jennie kept staring at Lisa’s back, and didn’t notice the person sitting next to her. When she turned her head she saw a boy with small tiger teeth.

“Hello.” She responded.

Although Lisa had never done these things before, after watching the people in front of him and next to him, he learned what to do. It also helped that the young lady at the service desk was very enthusiastic to help him after seeing Lisa’s looks.

After Lisa chose the popcorn the girl helping him asked him what juice he wanted. Lisa turned his head and glanced at Jennie. Suddenly, like a rainstorm that came our of nowhere, quickling covering the sun, the smile on his face disappeared cleanly.

Near him all the people around saw his face suddenly darken as he strode towards the rest area. He looked completely different from before.

What’s happened? They thought.

Jennie couldn’t see that this boy was trying to strike up a conversation with herself. After all, Jennie knew very well that her face and body was very superior. Jennie then spoke evasively, giving short and cold answers, wanting to send the boy away quickly, but the boy didn’t seem to notice her indifference.

It just so happened that the boy asked her if she was coming alone or with a friend. Hearing him, Jennie turned her head and glanced at Lisa, who was still shopping. In a moment of annoyance and impulse she lost her conscience and took advantage of Lisa. “No, I came with my boyfriend.”

She then turned her head and looked at Lisa again. Okay, he was still over there.

He couldn’t hear her words.

With her response, if the boys still didn’t understand Jennie’s refusal, then there was a problem with their IQ and EQ.

Hearing her words, the boy was a little disappointed, and wanted to say something, but suddenly he saw someone coming over like a gust of wind. As soon as he looked up, he saw a teenager with exceptional facial features, the good looking boy looked at him blankly, before grabbing the girl’s hand and said in an extremely blunt tone,

“Come with me to buy drinks.”

The girl’s eyes brightened when she saw the teenager and stood up from her seat to follow the boy.

The boy who just came to strike up a conversation, looked at the obvious matching colors in their couple outfits, and then looked at the exceptionally good looks that both of them had. In the end, even though he was rejected he had to admit that the both of them were a very eye catching couple.

Scratching his ears, he muttered, “So there really was a boyfriend.”

Jennie, who hadn’t walked that far away, was afraid that Lisa would misunderstand and quickly explained in a low voice.

“The boy just came to strike up a conversation, I found an excuse to refuse him, don’t think too much.”

Lisa, who really wanted to think too much: ….

Jennie said not to think too much, but that was exactly what Lisa was doing. On the other hand, although she was not nervous anymore, Jennie was still inexplicably a little disappointed.

“Why did you come here suddenly?” She asked.

Because I saw you talking to other boys, Lisa silently thought, but he couldn’t say that outloud so he instead said, “I don’t know what flavor you like.”

“Oh, okay.”

After that Jennie was also silent, and continued to follow Lisa, her eyes however, took occasional glances at their interlocked hands.

Just now Lisa had grabbed her and left, and now he was still holding her hand. Jennie subconsciously wanted to pull her hand, but she turned her head to see the boy’s blank face, and continued to let Lisa hold it.

On the other hand, Lisa, who was holding currently Jennie’s hand, had done it impulsively. It was only now that he realized what he had done, and suddenly became nervous and flustered.

He knew he should let go, but holding the girl’s soft hand, he didn’t want to let go at all.

So instead, he continued to act dumb as if nothing was wrong.
