《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》62

Before Lisa left, Jennie never thought that she could pass Lisa and take first place. But now that Lisa came back again, Jennie saw that he was behind on biology and had only begun to study it. Seeing this, she suddenly realized that perhaps there was a chance she could surpass Lisa.
Jennie’s biology was unexpectedly good.
She used to be a liberal arts student and had never studied biology before. When she had decided to take science in this life, she didn’t expect that she was so talented in biology. She usually got close to full marks in biology exams.
Regardless of what would happen to the future, Jennie was still very confident in the upcoming exams. She glanced at Lisa who was reading his biology textbook seriously. Jennie suddenly became interested and poked Lisa with a finger, “Lili, how about we have a bet?”
Lisa’s face stiffened when he heard Jennie call him “Lili”. Regardless of what Jennie was about to say, his face remained expressionless, but his eyes seemed to be jumbled. “…Don’t call Lili.”
Jennie hadn’t paid attention and had just called him that casually. But now that Lisa brought it up again,Jennie also lowered her voice and laughed for a while before she said, “Aunt Chen calls you Lili and you don’t mind. ”
Was Aunt Chen the same as her? Lisa thought.
Lisa raised his head and glanced at the class teacher who was talking. At heart, he was a very principled person. For example, when he studied or when the teacher was talking he would not talk.
But if the person he was talking to was Jennie, then Lisa would decisively abandon his principles. And so he leaned his head down slightly before turning his head and continuing, “Aunt Chen is an elder.”
Jennie also leaned her head down and placed a tall stack of books on the table to block the heads of the both of them. “Did you forget that I am a few months older than you.” She said, a smile appearing on her lips.
Lisa: “…”
“You are not yet seventeen. “
Lisa: “…”
She was right, he would only celebrate his seventeenth birthday next month. Thinking of this, Lisa began to regret mentioning this topic. Turning his head back to the podium he brought up what Jennie had said before, “What bet?”
Jennie also raised her head and glanced at the podium. The head teacher was still enthusiastically continuing the lecture. Covering her face with a book, she continued, “Let’s forget about the first monthly exam since it’ll be happening too soon. But, for the midterm exams, I will bet that you won’t be getting first place. “
Lisa smiled and looked at her, “Are you going to be first?”
“Of course”, Before, she was worried about Suho, but now there was nothing to worry about.
Lisa looked at the biology textbook in front of him before agreeing, “Okay, let’s bet.”
Jennie then asked, “What do you want to bet?”
“After the results come out, whoever scores higher, can ask the other party to do something.” Lisa responded.
“Even if we didn’t have a bet, I would still agree to do what you want me to do,” Jennie said, but her voice was too small, and Lisa didn’t hear.
“What did you say?” Lisa asked her.

“I said…”
Unfortunately, they were still in class and her voice just now was too loud. So before Jennie could repeat her words, Gaeul suddenly appeared from behind her and poked with a pencil.
Jennie was taken aback, and was about to turn back to ask Gaeul what was wrong, only to find that the class teacher’s passionate voice had disappeared, and as soon as she raised her head, she met Old Yuan’s eyes.
“Jennie, Lisa, are you having fun talking in class?” The head teacher shouted loudly, before pointing his finger at the blackboard, “In class, look at the blackboard, look at me! The blackboard is here!”
Lisa never listened to lectures in class, and so the teachers were used to it. They understood that it was a waste of time for him to sit in class and listen, so they didn’t mind Lisa reading books in class.
But even if you don’t listen in class, you can’t go to class and talk so much. It would distract the student from the teacher.
Hearing the head teacher’s roar, and the eyes of the students in the room focused on Jennie and Lisa. Looking at their meaningful expressions, the tips of Jennie’s ears suddenly became a little hot.
The head teacher had taught students for so many years, and so he understood their behavioral patterns very well. This was why he instantly discovered something was wrong.
Not from Jennie and Lisa, but from the students next to them.
The head teacher had long discovered that as long as a person in the class looked at the person they liked, even if the teachers didn’t know about it, the students next to them would absolutely know it. Sometimes they would tease the student with their eyes, other times their expressions would be teasing and playful when they looked at the students.
When he caught Jennie and Lisa talking in class today, although there was no booing, the class teacher instantly became vigilant after seeing the eyes around them.
The treatment between good students and bad students was definitely different, especially when it came to Jennie and Lisa, the two top students. So after staring at the two in silence for a while, he finally said, “Come to my office after class.”
“Jennie will come in first.” He added a few moments later.
Jennie, Lisa: “…”
Seeing them after the class…
The head teacher’s behavior was like adding some kind of certification to the two of them, because of this not only were the other students chatting. Even Gaeul felt something was wrong.
After class ended, Gaeul ran over and followed Jennie out of the classroom, and asked her, “What did you two say during class?”
“We were betting on who would get the higher score for the midterm exams.” Jennie was tired and didn’t know what else to say.
Gaeul: “Bet? But why were you two so close to each other? Did you not see how long the class teacher was standing on the podium and staring at you!”
Jennie: “…”
Gaeul turned back to look at Jackson who was in the classroom. After taking a look, she met Jackson’s eyes, and suddenly felt that this buddy was a bit pitiful. After she looked away from Jackson, she set her gaze on Jennie’s face again, and then moved down to see the jade pendant on Jennie’s neck.

Before she had held back from asking, but she couldn’t hold back now.
She had personally witnessed Jennie’s red eyes crying the day that Lisa came back. Jennie was usually a person with no mood swings, so seeing her crying had really frightened Gaeul that time. But after that, she not only did she see Jennie crying, but she also saw Jennie allowing Lisa to wipe her tears.
With how beautiful the both of them were, it didn’t need to be said how ambiguous that action was.
Think about the number of times Jennie mentioned Lisa unconsciously in the dormitory recently. Gaeul took a deep breath and said, “Jenjen, really, let me ask you something.”
“Ask.”
“Do you…like him? Lisa, that is.”
Jennie was silent for a long time before whispering, “Is it so obvious?”
Fuck! Gaeul almost jumped up from her chair, “Really?”
“No,” Jennie hurriedly waved her hand. But after saying that, she felt it was wrong. Her delicate brows furrowed together, and after a long time she finally said, “I don’t know either.”
She really didn’t know.
When he left for the United States Jennie couldn’t help but always think about Lisa. At that time, Jennie had noticed something was wrong, but when she thought about it further, it didn’t seem to be the case.
If someone were to ask her if she liked Lisa, she would say yes, she liked him, of course she did. If she didn’t like him then why would she want to take care of him?
But there were many types of like. One could like their friends and family. What kind of like did she have for Lisa? Family? Friend? Both? Did she like him like that?
Sometimes Jennie thinks she knows, and sometimes she doesn’t. Sometimes when she suddenly meets Lisa’s eyes, her heartbeat would speed up suddenly, similar to how when the teacher had called on her, she felt her ears turning hot.
But most of the time, Jennie didn’t feel like that. Most of the time, when she looked at Lisa’s eyes, she could do so without any evil thoughts at all.
Jennie thought for several days and finally figured out the reason and came up with a final analysis. It seems like since the beginning, she didn’t seem to have regarded Lisa as a member of the opposite sex. She took care of Lisa because he was once her favorite character in the book. Later, because she got to know him better, Lisa became the most special existence for her.
Therefore, when facing Lisa, she generally doesn’t feel anything, but once Lisa revealed some of his unique charms as a male, Jennie’s cognitive barrier would suddenly break and she would start blushing and her heart rate would speed up.
So when Gaeul asked her whether or not she liked Lisa, Jennie really didn’t know.
But there was a good saying, when you start to wonder whether you like someone or not, you have actually liked them for a long time.
When she went to the head teacher’s office, there was only the head teacher in the office. He pointed to the seat in front of him and asked Jennie to sit before speaking, “Do you know why I aksed to see you?”
“Yes,” Jennie said, “I’m sorry, teacher. I won’t talk in class anymore.”
The head teacher: …
Although her attitude of admitting mistakes was very good, talking in class was just a minor problem.
“It’s fine if you know what you did was wrong.” The head teacher knew that Jennie wasn’t like Jackson and so he wasn’t harsh with her, “In addition to this, there is something else.” He paused, before speaking again, “What is going between you and Lisa.”
Jennie:” … teachers nothing … “
“Your grades are very good, so I am very reassured by you. But in the end you are still young, and now that you are in your third year, you can’t fall in love. After all with the college entrance examinations coming up, no matter how good you are at school, you will still waste precious time if you fall in love. Your grades are very high, and you can definitely enter the top two universities in China if you work hard. Then you can date whoever you want, and I won’t care. But you guys…”
…Teacher, you think too far.
Jennie was still struggling with her feelings for Lisa just now. She didn’t want to think so far ahead. In addition to that, Lisa wouldn’t understand this type of thing. So Jennie seriously assured the head teacher, “Teacher, we really don’t have a relationship like that. Falling in love…teacher you have really misunderstood.”
The head teacher looked at Jennie with very suspicious eyes, “Really?”
“Really.”
The head teacher was silent for a long time before finally waving her out, “Forget it, you go back first and tell Lisa to come in.”
After Lisa entered the office, the head teacher and him looked at each other in silence before the head teacher finally said, “Seeing you stand up and come back to school, I am very happy.”
Lisa continued to look at the head teacher in silence.
The head teacher’s head suddenly hurt. Lisa had looked so happy talking to Jennie. Now he looked like he was made of stone. But then he remembered the words of the old gentleman who took care of Lisa and held back from sighing.
“I asked you to come, mainly because of you and Jennie.”
“Oh,” Lisa’s heart trembled. He didn’t mind being called out by the class teacher, he even enjoyed hearing that someone listed him and Jennie together.
Class teacher: …
Although he had long known that it was difficult to communicate with Lisa, he didn’t think it would be this hard!
Frowning and thinking about it, the class teacher said, “Teacher thought about it, you two have such good grades, and they are very balanced. If you sit separately, you can help students with relatively poor grades, so…”
He was about to say, “Do you want to move tables…”
But before he could finish, Lisa interrupted coldly with a, “No.”
The head teacher frowned, and the heart that had just been soothed by Jennie jumped up instantly.
“Why?” The head teacher asked.
The “reason” was because he only wanted to sit with her, but Lisa didn’t want to say that, and refused to answer the question of the head teacher.
The head teacher said, “If you don’t tell me the reason, I will change your seats immediately.”
Lisa pursed his lips and after a long silence said, “If you change seats, then I won’t come to school.”

“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment.
