《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》57

Park Jaebeom felt that he had lost all of his face and was angry, so he turned around and called Second Sister Kim.
Sister Kim felt that she was superior in front of everyone in the Kim family, but when she was in front of her husband and rich friends, she was a bit more respectful and cautious.
Many people were polite on the surface, and they often talked behind her back, saying that she was someone with low academic qualifications, while others say that she was just a shameless mistress.
Their words poked the heart of Sister Kim. In front of people who were inferior to her, Sister Kim would talk all she wanted without any ambiguity, but if she came face to face with those people whose conditions were much better than her, Sister Kim would only accept it all.
Recently, her husband and Park Jaebeom’s family jointly opened a hot pot branch. Second Sister Kim has never been able to intervene in the family business, but she gradually came to understand that she has no money or business and would always be trampled on.
But she was finally able to become the person partly in charge of this new store.
It didn’t need to be mentioned how happy Sister Kim was, everyday she would drive her own small BMW to the restaurant and enjoy being a boss.
But the result was that, when she turned her head, Park Jaebeom would scolded himher
Park Jaebeom said that Jennie didn’t know how much he was worth or how much money he had.He complained that Jennie thought that just because she looked good she could go to heaven.
Park Jaebeom scolded Jennie, but the Second Sister Kim felt that it was Park Jaebeom who was switching yin and yang and cursing her and the Kim family.
Sister Kim was frustrated, but when she met these real “rich people”, Sister Kim was involuntarily much more patient. She thought it was better to let Park Jaebeom keep scolding, but after a few words, Park Jaebeom began scolding her.
Sister Kim could only hold back her anger so much. After she hung up, she immediately called Mother Kim angrily. If it weren’t for the fact that she didn’t have Jennie’s contact information, Sister Kim might have called Jennie.
Mother Kim was in a very good mood these days. In order to chase Jennie, Park Jaebeom always gave the Kim family things, such as fruits and health products, and a lot of such products were sent in every few days, and so Mother Kim was really excited.
Compared with the son-in-law married to Second Sister Kim, she really liked Park Jaebeom more. He was not too old, and he is the only child in his family so he is very generous. Now that he has sent things to the family, he will marry Jennie in the future. She couldn’t even imagine all the benefits that would come their way, especially the gift money.
Mother Kim became happier as she thought about it. But after a few days of being happy, Sister Kim called and told her what Jennie wanted to do.
Mother Kim became even more angry after hearing this, and paced all over the house, not only was she angry but she was also unable to figure it out.
“Am I harming her? Isn’t the son-in-law I found for her good? A man as rare as Park Jaebeom was attracted to her, but she doesn’t want him?! “
Mother Kim didn’t expect Jennie to directly provoke Park Jaebeom. Thinking about it, she could already see the hundreds of thousands of bills flying away.

But the problem was, how would she get to Jennie.
The attached middle school is a very good school in the province. The management is quite strict. It was difficult for people unfamiliar with the school to get in and out. There was a time when Seungmin said that he was not feeling well, and Father Kim rushed to pick him up from school, but the security guard refused to let him enter
She didn’t know Jennie’s phone number and couldn’t get into the school. It wasn’t until she thought about it for a while that Mother Kim finally had an idea. She looked for the phone number of Jennie’s first year class teacher, and found the phone number of Jennie’s second year class teacher through her.
Even if the teachers wanted to protect the students, after all, this was a call from Jennie’s mother. Mother Kim said that she had a fight with Jennie, and the child was angry and refused to answer her call. There was really no way for the head teacher to suspect her.
Afterall, how could ordinary people think that a mother would treat their child like this, from her words, Mother Kim seemed to care about her daughter, and so the head teacher had no doubts at all.
During self study on Sunday night, Uncle Chen was worried that Park Jaebeom would come to the school gate to find Jennie and cause trouble again, so he personally sent Jennie there. After returning, according to Lisa’s intention, he found someone to watch Park Jaebeom, lest he go to the school to cause trouble for Jennie again.
Park Jaebeom called Second Sister Kim deliberately to let the Kim family handle the matter, and to make them let Jennie take the initiative to come to him obediently, so Park Jaebeom was quite safe these two days, waiting for the Second Sister Kim to give him the good news.
So there is no harassment by Park Jaebeom for the time being, but on Monday, early in the morning when the flag was raised, the head teacher called Jennie and said that she had something to talk to her about.
Jennie’s grades were good, and the head teacher often asked her for help. Last time she helped grade some papers, so Jennie didn’t think much about it. As a result, after Jennie passed by, she saw Mother Kim who she had not seen for nearly a year.
Jennie turned around and wanted to leave, but the head teacher patted her on the shoulder and said, “What are you grumbling about with your parents? Don’t you see that your mother worries about you. She even went to school to see you. You can’t be so capricious anymore. Go and have a good talk with your mom, how can a child and their parents have an overnight feud.”
After she finished talking, the head teacher happily left. Jennie didn’t want to talk to Mother Kim at all, but stopped again when she thought about it more.
The matter between her and the Kim family had been dragging on and she had been stalling for as long as she could. This was not a solution. She should find some time to solve it. Before, she wanted to find a chance to talk to Father Kim and Mother Kim, but she was afraid that if she returned to Kim family’s house she wouldn’t be able to leave, so she could only put it on hold.
As a result, Mother Kim has taken the initiative to find her now.
Jennie retreated back.
Everyone was outside raising the flag, so there was no one else here.

Mother Kim came to find Jennie angrily, but she was a little cramped after entering the school, and then when she saw Jennie who she hadn’t seen for nearly a year, she suddenly realized that the third daughter in front of her was unfamiliar and she couldn’t recognize her at all.
She was much more beautiful than before, Mother Kim had never seen such a beautiful girl in her life. The previous imperfections that had belonged to Jennie were gone, and her whole person was obviously alienated.
Mother Kim didn’t know why, she suddenly felt that she couldn’t stand up. She stared at Jennie dumbly and looked at Jennie for a long time before raising her head to Jennie and said, “It’s been a year, if it weren’t for me coming to see you today, were you not going to go back for the rest of your life?”
Mother Kim decided to play the emotional card first. Jennie was born to her. She might have been really angry when she left home. But it was impossible for her to have no feelings for her family.
Hearing her tone, if it wasn’t for the fact that Jennie knew very well the virtues of the Kim family, and had no unrealistic illusions about family relationships, she really would have thought that Mother Kim was worried about her.
Jennie listened attentively to the rising red flag presented by the grade director, with no expression on her face, “Just say it if you have something to say.”
Mother Kim was about to say the prepared line of “Mom has been worried about you” but suddenly couldn’t say it.
Instead, she glared at Jennie, “It’s been a year since you saw your mother? Don’t you have any conscience, ah, is there such a child like you…”
“If there is no other child like me then there is no other parent like you,” Jennie interrupted Mother Kim impatiently, “A parent that ignores their daughter for a year. A parent that has never given their daughter a penny and didn’t care about her life and death. Park Jaebeom came to school and almost kidnapped me last week. This week it’s you who came. You and I both know why you are here today. There is no one else here. Just say it if you have something to say. The flag raising will end in ten minutes.”
Mother Kim had no face left. In her entire life, she had never thought that one day her face would be ripped away by the daughter born from her.
But it was only a fleeting sentence, but her nature was exposed after a moment.
“I heard your Second Sister say that Park Jaebeom was looking for you, but you smashed his face and asked your classmates to chase him away?”
“Is there a problem with that?”
“He kindly comes to see you every day. Sends text messages and different things to you, he even went to the school gate to take you to dinner on weekends. What kind of crazy things did you smoke to reject him?! “
Jennie felt that she was completely unreasonable.
“Did I ask him to come?”
“The conditions of Park Jaebeom’s family are very good. It’s your blessing that he even looked at you, and yet you are still picky. You really thought that just because some of your classmates who were studying with you would chase you could have eyes on the sky. Your sister and I kindly took care of you and found this good son-in-law for you so that you can eat with a golden bowl and yet you come and ruin it.”
[TN: The raws used the word “Zhang Luo” which means “to take care of” or “to raise money” but I think in this context the word Golden Bowl (another chinese slang) works better.]
Jennie took a deep breath.
“Are you giving me a Golden Bowl, or getting one yourself? How much money did Park Jaebeom give you as a gift so that you could send your daughter over so intimately?”
Mother Kim choked again.
Jennie is now completely different from before. She was no longer a little girl who could be easily fooled by what she (Mother Kim) says. Mother Kim realized that she really underestimated Jennie, but she was also a little irritated by Jennie’s straightforward dismantling.
“What’s wrong with the bride price? I raised you for more than ten years, and spent so much money! Taking that into mind what’s wrong with asking for a bride price? You spend my money by eating the food that I cooked. I’ve made food for you to eat for more than 10 years. How much do you think you owe me? You think that just because you are so beautiful with many rich students chasing you, you can no longer put your family in your eyes, right? Without me and your dad, would you even be here? Where is your clever mind? This face… “
My mind has nothing to do with you.
Jennie couldn’t listen anymore, “So what are you going to do?”
Mother Kim finally stopped and smiled in satisfaction, before slowing down, “I am your mother, and I will definitely not harm you. Well, you are a little young but he still likes you so much, and he’s better than your second brother-in-law. So obediently go back with me, and then apologize to Park Jaebeom, and have a good meal with them…”
“It’s impossible,” Jennie interrupted Mother Kim, “If he dares to come again, I’ll call the police.”
“Report to the police!” Mother Kim exclaimed again, really wondering what Jennie was thinking. But she had become a little impatient. “You know what, you don’t need to see Park Jaebeom. As long as you can make up for the gift money, I don’t care what you want.”
According to the conditions of Park Jaebeom’s family, the bride price would definitely be hundreds of thousands, she doesn’t believe Jennie could have so much.
“I’ll give you money, but not now.”
“What?”
Mother Kim was drumbfounded.
Jennie said, “After the college entrance examination is over, I can give you money, think of it as your reward for raising Jennie.”
As long as she can get into the top two universities in the country, she could get more than 200,000 yuan. As long as she maintains the status quo and even works harder, Jennie is confident that she can get the money.
[TN: The two top universities in China are Peking University and Tsinghua University.]
Although it was a pity, if she could sever such a disgusting family relationship with the Kim family, Jennie felt that just some money was worth it.
The money that she would give the Kim family would be to pay them back for their “kind” acr od raising Jennie, since she took over Jennie’s body she could at least do this for her. After that, she would have nothing to do with Father Kim and Mother Kim in the future. She could think of the money as alimony, so that even in the future, she would not have the obligation to support Father Kim and Mother Kim.
She would use this money to buy her cleanliness for the rest of her life.

Each chapter will be around 4,000 to 6,000 words long and while I was posting every day at the beginning, I think I'll cut that down to once a week for now, excluding bonus chapters! I really don't want to get burned out. I started writing this because I love world building, so this is gonna be heavy on lore. If you're not into that, there's still a ton of character progression and action to look forward to! It's going to be slow at the beginning, but I promise it will pick up eventually.
