《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》56

When Jennie looked at Park Jaebeom who was leaving, her eyes were full of haze.
She was now going against both Park Jaebeom and the Kim family. They had gone too far this time, the former acted as a robber while the latter were traffickers, it was too disgusting.
She unconsciously stretched out her hand and rubbed the area where that man had just grabbed. It was very painful and it had turned red.
Seeing Lisa suddenly appearing here, Jennie was surprised but the surprise immediately turned into worry. She turned her head and asked him why he was here, but when she lowered her head she saw that Lisa’s face looked very bad.
Lisa finally controlled himself and put his gaze back on Jennie. He saw her hand over her arm, and his hand moved faster than he could think, grasping Jennie’s wrist.
“Who is he?”
Jennie looked down and looked at Lisa’s excessively forceful hand on her wrist, but she didn’t pull it out.
“He’s the prospective son-in-law that my parents found.”
Gaeul was also in a state of shock. She had wanted to find Jennie and go home together happily, but unexpectedly they encountered this incident.
She really didn’t expect that some people would actually dare to rob someone at the school gate in such an upright manner these days. Jennie generally didn’t mention her family situation, and Gaeul could only tell from little hints here and there that Jennie and her family were not close, but she never expected it to be this way.
What Park Jaebeom had said was very clear. He said that Jennie’s parents and sister begged him to take Jennie back. Jennie’s parents were simply selling their daughters in exchange for gifts. It was precisely because of this that Park Jaebeom’s attitude was so rampant.
How could they be so shameless?! Was there any humanity in them at all?
Did they think that giving birth to a daughter was for the purpose of exchanging money when they grew up?
Jennie probably won’t be going to her house today. It was obvious that Lisa and Jennie had things to say to one another. In addition to that, Gaeul didn’t dare walk around with Jennie casually.
What if that Park Jaebeom fellow came back?
Thinking of Park Jaebeom, Gaeul was still afraid for a while, but besides being afraid, she was also worried.
Just when Park Jaebeom left, he asked Jennie to wait.
Jennie was a student, and even her family couldn’t wait to sell her off or give her away as a gift. That Park Jaebeom looked rich and powerful, if he wanted to do something who could help her?
If Park Jaebeom came again, who would help Jennie?
She didn’t know why, she subconsciously turned her head to look at Lisa.
In fact, there were many people who liked Jennie, and many of them were like Jackson, rich and powerful enough to help her, but Gaeul’s first reaction was still to think of Lisa.
Even if Lisa could not stand up and he looked much thinner than Jackson, Lisa was more reassuring than Jackson.
Now that Lisa was here, Gaeul heaved a sigh of relief. Seeing him holding onto Jennie, Gaeul knew she needed to go home, and so she handed Jennie to Lisa and turned around to leave.
When she was halfway there, Gaeul finally figured out why she thought Lisa would be more reassuring than Jackson.

It was because she felt that Lisa’s feelings for Jennie were much deeper than Jackson’s feelings for Jennie.
Despite Jackson had directly said that he liked Jennie and Lisa having never said that he liked Jennie.
She still felt that this was so.
It wasn’t until Gaeul walked far that Lisa saw his hand on Jennie’s wrist. After a moment of shock, he hurriedly let go.
Feeling a little overwhelmed in his anger, he could only ask her, “Does it hurt ?”
“It doesn’t hurt.” Jennie rubbed her wrist, not wanting people to watch them, she turned around and followed Uncle Chen into the car.
After getting in the car, Jennie talked to Uncle Chen and Lisa about what had happened.
Last week, Lisa met Jennie’s second sister when she came to pick up Jennie, and later Jennie told him about second Sister Kim. At that time, Uncle Chen just thought that second Sister Kim was just a shameful mistress. But he never thought that she could stoop even lower than that.
But if you think about it more carefully, Jennie once said that the second Sister Kim became a junior with a peace of mind. Her family was not at all ashamed but instead proud of it. Now that they have tasted the sweetness of wealth, they wanted to take Jennie to test the waters again.
Hidden in the darkness of the car, Lisa held the bank card tightly in his left hand, his fingers were clenched too hard, and the bank card trembled as if it would break in the next moment.
What would have happened if he and Uncle Chen were late today.
If he made up his mind to say goodbye to Jennie and go directly to the United States, what would have happened.
After waiting for a few weeks or months, when he finally couldn’t help but want to see how Jennie was doing, she might have already been dragged into the quagmire by her disgusting family.
Maybe she would have been forced to drop out of school, maybe she would have beeen kept at home, and they would force her onto the so-called prospective son-in-law…
At the last thought, a crisp sound interrupted the quiet atmosphere inside the car. Jennie turned her head in surprise, “What was that sound?”
Lisa looked the the bank card in his hand that was snapped in two.
Suppressing his emotions with all his strength, Lisa responded to Jennie, “I don’t know, maybe it came from outside of the car.”
Jennie said “Oh” before turning to ask him, “Lisa, how come you come to the school suddenly? Did you have something to tell me?”
Something to tell her…
His purpose for coming was to say goodbye to Jennie.
He was leaving soon, but he still wanted to see her one last time and say goodbye in person himself.
But now, how could he go anywhere?
If he is gone, what would Jennie do? Who would protect her and help her when he is gone?
Maybe Jennie was too optimistic. She always smiled as if she had no troubles, and never complained, as if nothing could be hard enough to beat her, so this gave Lisa the illusion that Jennie was doing well..
But in fact, she was not doing well at all.
How could a family like this be good? She ran desperately in front, but there were many people behind who wanted to pull her back.

Lisa released his hand, the bank card that was folded in half fell into the crack between the car seat, and what he was going to say was temporarily put on hold. Instead Lisa said, “I couldn’t get through to you when I called.”
Jennie took out her phone and said. “I don’t know how but Park Jaebeom got my phone number. He called and sent text messages every day even though I kept blocking him. I really couldn’t handle it, so I pulled out the card.”
Lisa’s eyes sank again, “Go to Zhang Xin first.”
[TN: Zhang Xin is a mobile phone store that sells SIM cards, Lisa is going there to get Jennie a new one]
Uncle Chen turned the car around and headed in the direction of the nearby mall.
After applying for a new card and returning to Lisa’s house, everyone was a little silent, even Jennie was a little absent-minded while eating.
She now has to think about what to do.
She originally wanted to make up enough money to at least pass her high school years safely, but the Kim family obviously had no bottom line than she thought. They were staring at her all the time, preparing to sell her.
Avoidance was no longer useful, unless she refused to step out of the school for the remaining year and a half, but even so, Jennie didn’t think this was feasible.
Today, Park Jaebeom dared to take her directly at the school gate, she had no idea what other crazy things he might do in the near future.
But what would she do other than avoid them? Run home to have a big fight with Kim family and cut off relations with them?
How would she even sever their relationship, her name was still written in the Kim family’s account book. Now that the Kim family knows that they can make money off of her how could they possibly agree to sever the relationship. In addition to that, Jennie didn’t dare to think that there would be a possibility of her coming out if she ever went back to the Kim family.
As for calling the police? She was the daughter of the Kim family the police would not interfere.
Jennie took a deep breath and closed her eyes irritably.
She really wanted to be an orphan.
In the next room, Uncle Chen carefully knocked on the door to Lisa’s room, walked in and closed the door.
Lisa didn’t like Father Manoban. Father Manoban cheated on his mother with his secretary when Lisa was too young to remember. After his mother divorced Father Manoban’s infidelity, she took him to the United States. Lisa had no feelings for his father, but because his feelings towards them are too weak, he couldn’t produce any hatred.
Father Manoban had successfully entered the procuratorate because of Lisa’s mother. Even though Father Manoban was now the executive deputy prosecutor of the provincial procuratorate, and a serious provincial and departmental cadre, Father Manoban would never deny that if it were not for Lisa’s mother’s assistance in the beginning he would not be where he is today.
Father Manoban cheated on his secretary, and Lisa’s mother immediately divorced without thinking about it. He was indeed full of guilt for his ex-wife and son, especially after Lisa’s mother died, and so Lisa must be taken back.
After that, Father Manoban tried his best to compensate Lisa, but the legacy of Lisa’s mother’s death was too great, even if Father Manoban wanted to compensate, he didn’t know where to start.
Today he received a call from Uncle Chen and was told that Lisa was preparing to return to the United States. Father Manoban was surprised and couldn’t hide his disappointment, and tried to persuade him to no avail.
But that night, Lisa called him in person.
Some things could be done with money, while some things require a little power.
It is easy to spend a little money to do a background check on Park Jaebeom in order to see his situation clearly.
Park Jaebeom’s real family situation was far more pitiful than his arrogant appearance, but within two hours, Lisa obtained all the information of Park Jaebeom and Park Jaebeom’s parents, and even knew all the assets of Park Jaebeom’s parents.
Park Jaebeom, who seemed to be arrogant and impossibly proud, had a father who ran a hot pot restaurant with many locations. Park Jaebeom’s father has been cooperating recently with Second Sister Kim’s husband to open another branch close by.
Park Jaebeom had such a personality because his parents were quite old when they had him, and so he was overly spoiled. This cultivated Park Jaebeom into a character that was not afraid of fear.
Father Manoban was a little surprised that Lisa would take the initiative to look for him, in addition to that, he (Lisa) was very precise about what he wanted. Lisa did not say it directly, but asked him to tell the Food and Drug Administration to invest more energy in a certain hot pot restraunt on XX Street.
From what Lisa said Father Manoban could understand what he wanted. It was too simple to make trouble for a restaurant. Many restaurants now used brand fresh ingredients, but in fact, not much of the food they claimed were fresh was actually so.
Many times whenever the Food and Drug Administration comes to inspect, and restaurants could always prepare in advance if they hear wind of it would first. But if there is a sudden surprise full on strict inspection, then a large number of restaurants will have to close.
For Father Manoban, it was only a sentence, not to mention that Lisa finally spoke to him, and so Father Manoban naturally had no reason not to agree.
After hanging up the phone, Uncle Chen took a look outside, and whispered to Lisa, “Then about going abroad…”
Lisa made it clear that he would help Jennie to the end, so he would definitely not go abroad in the near future. Maybe he would become too worried about Jennie to leave at all.
But he didn’t expect Lisa to say, “Wait until everything is done here.”
“Still going?”
Chen Bo was surprised.
“Go to the New York Special Surgery Hospital,” Lisa lowered his eyelashes. It was the best orthopedic hospital in the world.
Lisa discovered today that he was not useless to Jennie, and he could still protect her.
Jennie needed him.
The doctor said that there was a 98% chance that he would stay in a wheelchair forever, but excluding this 98%, there was still a 2% of hope that he could stand up.
Once you have someone you want to protect, everything seems to be less terrible.
Although it was only 2%, he was willing to do his best to fight for that 2%.
