《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》36

Lisa was not very interested, but he did not immediately refuse.
But before he could say anything, the physics teacher has already begun to talk endlessly, “Sign up first. In October, you can participate in the national high school physics league at the provincial level. If you do well you can enter the provincial team and compete in higher level competitions. I have brought award-winning students before, but Lisa, your physics level is even better than those of your previous classmates! As long as you enter the provincial team, you can participate in the winter training camps and then national level competitions! Then, if you win first place in that, you can enter the national training team! The national training team is taught by the country’s best competition teachers. After two months of training, the best will be selected to represent the country in the International Physics Olympiad!”
The more the physics teacher talked, the more excited he became, as if Lisa had already won the gold medal in the International Physics Olympiad.
However, unfortunately for the physics teacher Lisa spit out two words coldly.
“Not going.”
The physics teacher didn’t have to say anything else. When he had mentioned the national team’s “training” Lisa’s slight uninterest had turned into complete indifference.
The enthusiastic physics teacher suddenly froze.
The head teacher told the physics teacher not to be anxious, before turning over to Lisa and said in a coaxing tone, “After so many exams, several teachers were already amazed at your talent in mathematics and physics. That’s why I want you to give this a try.”
The head teacher sat on a chair not far from Lisa and continued, “The knowledge content you have is too advanced for a high school student. It’s really good that you come to class every day, but it’s a waste of time. Instead of wasting time, it’s better to receive a higher level of education and master more quintessential knowledge.”
The head teacher felt that Lisa was not interested in anything, but his mathematics and physics were so good, and his talent was overwhelming. He could tell Lisa liked to learn new things as well, so he wanted to use this aspect to attract him.
Unfortunately, Lisa still had said the same two words after hearing it, “Not going”, after saying that Lisa wanted to leave.
Seeing him not backing down, the anxious head teacher hurriedly added, “Participating in the competition will have a lot of benefits. Lisa, I know you don’t like to interact with your classmates, and you don’t like sitting here every day. If you can win prizes, you can concentrate on what you like without having to deal with other students and sit with them in class. If you can really win prizes in the future and get first place, then we will be able to send you to the best university without you ever having to come to class again, don’t you want that?”

This offer was way too attractive to other students, and the head teacher felt that it would be especially attractive to Lisa, after all, Lisa hated campus life even more, didn’t he?
It was a pity that Lisa is still indifferent, if he could form his feelings into words they would probably be, “ You are really annoying.”
“I don’t want to,” Lisa said coldly. After he finished speaking, he added, “I want to go to class.”
He was not interested in any awards or training. Nothing could force him, he was here now because Jennie was here; as for any other university they recommended, he was even more uninterested, even if it was a prestigious university, if Jennie was not at that university in the future…
Thinking of this, Lisa was stunned.
Lisa seemed to realize at this time that he didn’t have any specific plans for many things in his future. But there was one specification that he did have and that was that Jennie had to be a part of it.
Because she was here, he didn’t want to participate in any physics competition.
Because he didn’t know where Jennie would go in the future, he will not decide where he will be in the future too early.
He didn’t hesitate at all, so naturally, he wrote a person’s name in the blank picture of his future.
Jennie.
There was only this one name, nothing else.
For the first time, Lisa clearly felt that he had a strong sense of dependence on Jennie.
He suddenly thought of a sentence a moth would always follow the light.
There is no need to think or distinguish between the two, Jennie was his light, and where the light went, he would follow.
Without his light, life would return to the darkness it once was, and it may be even more difficult to endure. Thinking of this, he suddenly remembered a poem by Emily Dickinson.
Had I not seen the sun
I could have borne the shade
But light a newer wilderness
My wilderness has made
Lisa could not figure out what this meant, he only knew that he could not do without this light, like grass that could not live without the sun’s light.
Without the light, he would die.
The head teacher looked surprised:…? ? ?
Didn’t Lisa hate going to class before? Didn’t he hate the lively campus life? What went wrong?
The head teacher had felt that participating in the competition was like a tailor-made life trajectory to Lisa, but Lisa refused so decisively.
Lisa didn’t need to satisfy the class teacher’s curiosity, and turned around and left after reconfirming that he would not go.

The physics teacher and the head teacher looked at each other, and finally sighed at each other. The head teacher picked up the book on the table and hurriedly left.
The next class was Chinese class with Class 14, and he needed to get there quickly.
The head teacher walked very quickly, and caught up with Lisa, staying a few steps away from him on the side as he once again tried to persuade Lisa with a few more words without giving up. He brought up things like winning glory for the school and for himself, but Lisa ignored him without even turning his head, and so the head teacher finally gave up.
Forget it, the head teacher shook his head, “By the way, there is one more thing. I forgot to tell you that our school has set up a scholarship mechanism. Do you know about it?”
“I don’t know.”
“I knew you definitely wouldn’t know”, The head teacher smiled cheerfully, “In order to encourage students to study, our school has set up a scholarship system, with one first prize, three second prizes, and six third prizes, based on the last two final exams of the two semesters of each grade. The judgment is made. The first prize is five thousand yuan, the second prize is three thousand yuan, and the third prize is 1,000 yuan. If nothing happens, the first prize should be yours.”
Students who won the first prize would get bonuses. The head teacher who brought out the first prize students would also get a bonus. The head teacher felt that Lisa’s first prize was too simple, after all, every time his exam scores would be high.
While talking, he turned his head and suddenly found that Lisa was sitting on his chair motionless, “What’s the matter?”
Did he lose something?
Lisa raised his head thoughtfully, “What are the conditions for winning the first prize?”
“Are you worried about this? Don’t even worry you’ll do fine.” The head teacher said happily, “We’ll just look at your final exam results for the last two exams from each semester. Whoever scored the highest altogether will get the first prize.”
At that time, Lisa would receive the first prize, and Jennie and Suho would receive the second prize. If their luck was good, then Mino or Irene might be able to receive the third prize.
If this happened then the head teacher would have the most face out of all the other teachers.
The head teacher became happier as he thought about it, and subconsciously wanted to reach out and pat Lisa’s shoulder, and just when put his hand out he pulled it back, “The bell will ring soon, go back to class.”
When Lisa returned to the classroom, Jennie glanced at the time. It was almost the end of class, Lisa had been out for a long time.
“Did the head teacher have to look for you because of something important?” Jennie asked Lisa.
“No,” Lisa said. After thinking about it, he explained clearly what happened to Jennie, and summarized what the physics teacher said and his attitude in a few sentences.
Jennie nodded, no wonder the head teacher was beaming.
But Lisa’s refusal was entirely in her expectation, and she didn’t really want Lisa to go.
Whenever Jennie remembered that Lisa had left for two years in the book, and his whole person had become severely depressed, she felt that it was better to let Lisa be safe and secure under her careful watch.
She heard that the students participating in the competition generally have to train, Lisa’s physical condition was not suitable for the training, who could guarantee that there wouldn’t be any problems.
Winning was glorious, but safety was more important.
Jennie’s attitude made Lisa a little dumbfounded. He sat in silence for a long time, wanting to ask Jennie if she wanted him to go, but their next class was English, and the English teacher absolutely forbade them to talk amongst one another.
Lisa turned his head and looked at Jennie, who was secretly doing math in English class, took out a piece of paper from his school bag, wrote a few words, and silently pushed it to Jennie’s side.
Jennie was surprised when she saw this little note.
Lisa asked her if she wanted him to participate in the competition.
Jennie quickly wrote down, and then pushed the note back.
——Don’t want to.
Lisa fixedly stared at the two neat words on the note. After a long time, he solemnly clamped the note in the book, and then he lay on the table, and secretly his unmovable face showed some movements.
It was an uncontrolled smile that was still slightly weird, but came from his heart.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
