《Jenlisa | Guide To Raising The Sick Villain》17

Lisa was born with a very slow perception of emotions, which made it even more difficult for him to distinguish delicate and complex feelings. This was the biggest feature of Asperger’s Syndrome.
Disappointment, regret, envy, jealousy, such feelings were rarely seen in Lisa’s short life of fifteen years. But even if they did appear, Lisa himself could not recognize the emotional fluctuations, he could only summarize them all into more simple and familiar emotions, such as anger and sadness.
At this moment, looking at Jennie’s back when she turned and left, Lisa’s heart suddenly felt an emotion so sour that he could not describe it, as well as the urge to explain something to Jennie. For example, he really hated being approached by people, and he really didn’t like being disturbed by others, but for so many days, he did not actually hate Jennie’s approach.
He believed he reacted this way from listening to Jennie’s words because she had misunderstood a very important thing. But he still didn’t understand that this kind of strong emotional fluctuation was called regret.
The high school that Jennie went to also had an attached middle school. After each exam, each grade would release a list of the top 100 for each grade, which was displayed on a display board that everyone could see.
Seungmin had just glanced at it casually when he was passing by. He intended to see if Nayeon had made the top 100, and if she did, he wanted to show off.
As a result, at a glance, he saw the highest position on the first grade exhibition board was his own sister’s name.
Seungmin thought it was the same name and surname at first, but after looking at the class next to the name, Seungmin was stunned stupid.
He had never heard Jennie mention that there was someone with the same name and surname as her in her class, so the girl in the first place is his third sister?
Shit, Jennie actually got the first place in the exam?
After school in the afternoon, Seungmin rushed hom and met Nayeon on the road. He was so excited that he rushed up and shouted at Nayeon, “Sister Nayeon, how are you doing this time?” Before Nayeon spoke, she shouted, “My sister got the first grade, are you in the top 100?”
Nayeon turned blue and shouted, “Jennie copied!”
Copied?
Seungmin shrank his neck.
He didn’t really believe that Jennie could take the exam so well. Now that Nayeon said it he really believed it, but he still couldn’t lose face in front of Nayeon, so he continued, “If you don’t have any evidence, don’t try to wrong people. If you have the ability, why don’t you copy so well that you’re first in the grade?!”
Nayeon rushed up to beat Seungmin, Seungmin rolled off with his chubby body, Nayeon stood there still biting her lip, and suddenly cried.
Second Aunt Kim was cooking at home, when she heard the door opening, she looked back and saw her daughter crying with eyes resembling walnuts. She hurriedly wiped her hands and walked out of the kitchen, “What’s wrong? Who bullied you? “
Second Uncle Kim who was reading in the room also hurried out. The couple sat next to their daughter and asked her what was wrong. Nayeon cried more fiercely when she was comforted by her parents. Second Aunt Kim thought about the timing and guessed a little.
“Was it your results?” Aunt Kim thought that it was because Nayeon didn’t do well on the exam. “It’s only one exam. It doesn’t matter if you fail the exam. Just keep working hard.” Aunt Kim touched her daughter’s hair and said, “Don’t cry anymore. Stop crying .” Nayeon cried out with a wail, “No…”

She took out her transcript from her school bag and showed it to Second Uncle Kim and Aunt Kim. When they looked at it, they saw that she was seventh in the class, which was three places better than last time. Isn’t this great? Why are you crying?
After asking again and again, they realized that Jennie got the first grade.
Second Uncle Kim and Second Aunt Kim glanced at each other, both of them looked surprised. Nayeon was incoherent with agitation. “She used to have such poor grades, and she took the exam and got such a high score all of a sudden. It had to be because she was copying or something, I told my classmates they also said that I was jealous of Jennie. For what reason should I be jealous of her, am I jealous of her plagiarism… Obviously Jennie herself is shameless…”
Second Uncle Kim couldn’t listen anymore, “Stop it!”
Nayeon was suddenly shocked by her father.
“You said Jennie plagiarized, is there any evidence?”
What evidence is needed for this?
Nayeon looked surprised.
“She used to have such poor grades, how could she improve so much at once? This time the paper was very difficult, she got a perfect score of one hundred points. Isn’t this obviously copying?”
“Your teacher did not say that Jennie copied it, and neither did you see her plagiarize, the results alone can’t explain anything.” Second Uncle Kim directly retorted. He was a little upset about his daughter’s direct conviction of Jennie. He also went on to educate his daughter, but Aunt Kim stopped him, “Go in. I will talk to Nayeon.”
Second Uncle Kim glanced at Aunt Kim and hesitated . Second Aunt Kim looked back at her daughter. “You don’t know Jennie’s previous grades. This time, placing first in the exam is a little strange. You’re saying that Nayeon has no evidence to prove that Jennie copied it, can you prove that Jennie didn’t copy it?”
Second Uncle Kim frowned, and second aunt Kim hurriedly said, “I know how to talk to her. Go in, Nayeon will cry if you keep scolding her.”
Second Uncle Kim glanced at Second Aunt Kim and went into the house. Second Aunt Kim sat back next to Nayeon and comforted her daughter, “Like you father said if she didn’t copy, you would have wronged her…”
“She definitely copied it!”
Aunt Kim was silent for a few seconds and sighed, “She can copy this time, I don’t believe she will do it every time. She can copy once but she can’t always copy. All you need to do is have a clear conscience, and leave her alone.”
Finally, Nayeon was coaxed, and the second aunt Kim touched her daughter’s hair, “Tomorrow it’s your grandma’s birthday. Let’s go to your third uncle’s house for dinner together. Do you want to go.”
“No,” Nayeon refused without even thinking about it. She didn’t want to see Jennie.
Second Aunt Kim also guessed what was going on in her head, “If you don’t want to go, you don’t have to go.” After going there, she might be ridiculed and bullied by that fatty Seungmin again. She was already mad enough.
On Jennie’s side, Seungmin told everyone as soon as she got home that Jennie had taken first place in the grade. Mother Kim, who had just entered the door to change shoes, almost fell in fright.
Jennie got first in the grade?
Old Lady Kim also had a strange face, “That’s definitely wrong.”
“Are you sure that it’s Jennie’s name?”

Old Lady Kim would not believe it, “It’s certainly someone with the same name.”
“No, the board said that it was Jennie from class 13! My sister got 1092 points on the exam, how could it be wrong. The whole school knows that Jennie is number 1, Nayeon didn’t even get into the top 100!”
Thinking of Nayeon’s ugly face from before Seungmin felt even more elated.
Seungmin was very close to Old Lady Kim. When he was young and ignorant he didn’t think much about his grandma. Later, he grew up slowly and understood some things.
For example, although Old Lady Kim is good to him, she is very bad to his mother. Even he could feel that his grandmother despised his mother.
Seungmin is close to his grandmother, but one he is the closest too is definitely his mother. People are always biased, especially when Old Lady Kim mocks his mother again and again saying that his mother is not as educated as Aunt Kim, Seungmin sides more towards his mother.
What’s more, every time Old Lady Kim scolded Mother Kim, she said that Mother Kim was stupid, and the brains of her children was not enough, so she couldn’t compare with Nayeon.
Old Lady Kim actually scolded Jennie, but Seungmin was also born to Mother Kim. So Seungmin felt that his grandma was also scolding him, after all, his grades were particularly poor.
So as long as it is something that could make Aunt Kim and Nayeon ashamed, Seungmin always enjoyed it.
This time Jennie got the first place in her grade, and she slapped Nayeon in the face. It couldn’t be more cool!
Old lady Kim didn’t believe it, but Mother Kim believed it, and suddenly felt that her waist was upright.
Didn’t Old Lady Kim say every day that her uneducated children were not smart, but Jennie got the first grade exam. Does Nayeon have the ability to take the top spot?
When Jennie came back from the outside, she was confronted with the beaming Mother Kim and the unhappy Old Lady Kim. Mother Kim cooked a table of dishes since she was cooking today, and took the opportunity to stomp on Old Lady Kim during the meal.
Old Lady Kim was so angry that she didn’t close her eyes all night.
The next day was Granny Kim’s 70th birthday. That night, Seungmin waited for Nayeon eagerly, but Nayeon never came. Because Jennie got the first grade in the exam, so one didn’t have to mention how straight his waist is. His family’s sister was smart and loved to learn. The Second Aunt Kim was fortunate that she didn’t bring Nayeon over, or maybe he would make trouble again. .
But it is still unavoidable that the results are unclear. Looking at Mother Kim’s ambition, she is indeed a stingy person who has no education.
There are quite a lot of people in their home. First Uncle Kim’s family, Second Uncle Kim and Second Aunt Kim, as well as two sisters who were married off from the third Kim family. Eldest sister Kim was still as gentle as usual. While the big shiny diamond ring on Second Sister Kim attracted a crowd of people to take a look from time to time.
Second sister Kim suddenly raised her chin even higher.
When the crowd of uncles and aunts left the Kim family after dinner, the two daughters of the Kim family stayed and were in no hurry to go back.
Jennie was paraded around all night, and did not finish her homework. Finally, she waited for everyone to leave and closed her door to write her homework. But Second Sister Kim’s voice was very loud, and it was very clear across the thin walls. Jennie plugged her ears with paper, but it was useless.
Rubbing her temples irritably, she heard someone knock on the door from outside.
Old Lady Kim, Mother Kim, and Seungmin never knocked on the door when they entered Jennie’s room. Jennie had already guessed who it was. After opening the door, she found that it was Eldest Sister Kim.
Mother Kim gave birth to three daughters. The eldest daughter is 23 years old this year. She had married the year before. Her husband was the son of the owner of the vegetable shop that often delivered food to the Kim family’s small restaurant.
Old Lady Kim and Mother Kim both looked down on this son-in-law. The vegetable shop was not much better than their restaurant, but when the vegetable shop delivers food to Kimfamily, it’s much cheaper, so Father and Mother Kim still agreed to marry off their eldest daughter.
Luckily, the young couple had a very affectionate relationship. Eldest Sister Kim gave birth to a daughter last year, and her whole person seemed to be better than before.
Eldest Sister Kim came in from the outside, closed the door gently, smiled and sat on Jennie’s bed, speaking softly, completely different from the rest of the Kim family.
Eldest Sister Kim asked how Jennie was doing, and then mentioned Jennie’s exam this time, “I heard that you got the first in grade.”
Jennie had a good impression of Sister Kim for the time being, and nodded “Um”.
“That’s great,” Sister Kim said. She was not good at school before, and she got married before she finished high school. She didn’t feel much about it at the beginning, but now she gradually regrets it, but there was no second chance. It was already like this.
Sister Kim talked with Jennie for a while, then took out a small box and handed it to Jennie.
“I don’t know what to buy. But I saw this when I was going out the other day. They all say that you young students like to wear this.”
Jennie looked down. It was an MP3 player.
“I asked your brother-in-law to download some songs casually. Listen to it. If it’s not good, you can download it yourself.”
Jennie took the small MP3 and listened to the sound of the second sister Kim and Old Lady Kim walking through the walls, after a while she said thank you softly.
“Thank you?” Sister Kim smiled, “There is no one in our family who can study, and now we finally have you. You study hard, and take the college entrance exam.”
After she finished speaking, she took a look outside, “Our mother didn’t study. Don’t worry about what she says, just read your book.”
Jennie didn’t understand why Sister Kim said this suddenly, but she nodded.
Sister Kim said some other things, and soon she left the room saying that she had children to take care of, so she would go back first.
Old Lady Kim and Mother Kim didn’t stop her, the Second Sister Kim stood up to send her eldest sister out, sighing again, “Ah, my child is really troublesome. It is annoys me to see that child every day, so my husband found two Babysitter, and they still can’t take care of it…”
Eldest Sister Kim’s eyes darkened , but she didn’t say anything, and turned to go downstairs and left.
With Eldest Sister Kim gone, Second Sister Kim started talking and couldn’t stop it.
“I just want a girl who looks like me and is obedient. Just look at the eldest sister’s child. The kid in my family is so rowdy.” Sister Kim seemed to be complaining, but she didn’t have any irritability on her face. She was smug. As if no one already knew that she had given birth to a son, married to a rich man and was incredibly proud.
Second Sister Kim was only 20 years old this year, but she already had a six month old son.
Second Sister Kim’s husband is a restaurant owner. But his restaurant was not a small restaurant like Kim’s, but a big restaurant. He will be forty years old this year, and he has been married a long time ago. His wife was around the same age as Eldest Sister Kim.
Second Sister Kim used to work at the restaurant, but she became pregnant while she was working there. A few months later, she gave birth to a son to her good boss and succeeded in taking the position of his wife.
From then on, the second sister Kim had a rich husband and a son, and all she wore on her hands and neck were diamonds. The scenery was unbelievable.
Taking a look at the ring on Second Sister Kim’s hand, and hearing about the number of babysitters in the family. Old Lady Kim and Mother Kim had a moment of peace between them. Both of them had bright eyes as they stared at Second Sister Kim. Asking her how she’s been recently and her husband, and his business.
“Oh, the restaurant is too busy. He wants to open another branch recently, but he is too busy…”
A branch!
When Old Lady Kim and Mother Kim heard that their eyes brightened, they kept saying that Second Sister Kim had married a good son-in-law, and Second Sister Kim looked complacent, “Yes, he just bought a car for me a few days ago. I don’t even know how to drive. I’m so annoyed that I have to learn how to drive.”
Mother Kim leaned over and asked, “What car?”
“Audi, it’s not expensive around four to five million.”
Four to five million! Is that not expensive?! Mother Kim was speechless and glanced at Old Lady Kim, “The car of the second sister-in-law’s family is only two hundred thousand yuan .”
At the beginning, Second Aunt Kim bought a car, and the Old Lady Kim said constantly that Second Aunt Kim was very good and could drive. What Japanese car?! Look at the car her daughter drives now!
Second Sister Kim sneered, “Her car can cost hundreds of thousands at most. Second uncle and aunt are both teachers, and their salary is not high, so they bought a car worth hundreds of thousands.”
Listening to her daughter stepping on Aunt Kim calmly, Mother Kim couldn’t be more refreshed. Old Lady Kim wanted to say something, but she couldn’t figure it out after thinking about it. She could only say dryly, “Your second aunt is a cadre’s house. “
“Grandma, you are still so old fashioned. The cadres you are talking about are all officials, Nayeon’s family, what kind of cadres are they, both of them are teachers, and they only make three to four thousand yuan a month. That’s not even enough to buy my son’s milk formula for a month.” Second Sister Kim directly put on her face, “My grandma still treats Nayeon as a treasure every day, and she didn’t even want to come for your birthday.”
Old Lady Kim was in a hurry to explain, “Your second aunt said that Nayeon had a cold.”
“As long as it helps you sleep at night Grandma. Didn’t Jennie do better than her on the exam? Nayeon probably had no face left to show herself.” Sister Kim mocked, “Jennie knows how to study well recently. But to be honest, in this society, it’s useless to study well.”
In her room, Jennie was about to put on the headphones bought by Kim Sister, but then she heard Second Sister Kim’s next sentence and was suddenly scared.
“Jennie only has to go to school; she doesn’t have to study so hard. What is that girl doing?”
Mother Kim hesitated, “She took the first in the grade on the exams this time, maybe it will be better for her in the future…”
“Even if she did well in the exams could? I didn’t go to university to work in our restaurant but look where I am. What’s the use of studying for so many years? Even if you study hard for 10 years and get into University by the time you graduate all the good marriage candidates will be gone.”
Mother Kim still hesitated but Old Lady Kim agreed very much with Second Sister Kim. “You’re right! The granddaughter of the old Liu family went to get a doctorate. Now that she’s almost 30 she can’t find a husband…”
Second Sister Kim nodded, “It’s enough to be able to read and count. Taking advantage of her young age, let Jennie get in touch with society and get to know more people. That’s more important than anything.”
Mother Kim was worried, “Where can she contact people.”
Sister Kim thought for a while, “My husband invited a few people to eat at our home a few days ago. There is a young man named Park Jaebeom who is ten years older than Jennie and is not married. Their family is in the same business and makes tens of millions a year. I’ve been discussing investment in that branch with my husband recently.”
“That sound’s good!”
Mother Kim was excited all over, and she took second sister Kim and started to inquire about the news of the second generation from the Park family.

Adagio of the Enlightened
The Elders will tell you the stories and lore. Of our ancestors, their deeds, and of the foes of yore. They will praise to you the chariot, and how it flew to the stars. How it stole the sun's light and slew the night’s roar. The Shamans will tell you the tales of their wisdom. Their wars on schism, and the unlettered world of ours before. Perhaps they will sing you the songs of what our clans' ancient customs tore. Poems of how our ancestors took what the discs had offered them, the manna and the mundane, and made it more. The kings will tell you of the follies, the sins, and the anecdotes of all our ancestors' wrongs. They will curse to you their names, the Ender of Fate and the Ruined Song. How they had dug up the hearts of the discs, euchred its relics, and blasphemed its prophecies, with oracles withdrawn. But they will only tell you the legends, recount the myths, and sing the allegories washed ashore. The Elders, the Shamans, and the kings can only retell what the storytellers of their own time had voiced. What they have read in books or heard in the minstrels' songs they adore. They don't know what really happened. They were never there. They can't tell you how our ancestors slew the angels from the sky, and sent them back to where they belonged. How they poisoned our minds, and made our people slothful and feeble, with the reforms they had undergone. But I can.I can tell you how the Ender of Fate severed destiny's strings, weakened them, and weaved them to our feeble flesh and souls.I can tell you how the Ruined song razed the heavens with her blood-stained melody, and reshaped our hell into utopia, with the deaths she deplored.Because I was there. I can tell you the truth, with my virtue strong. ----> Disclaimer: This will be a slow-burn, character-driven, non-harem, slice-of-life web novel with cultivation and kingdom-building elements. 8 175A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
