Standing in front of the school, Jennie felt a little silly.

It was time to go home, but she had no idea where Jennie’s home was in the book.

After thinking about it for a long time, she remembered that Jennie’s parents opened a small restaurant in front of the school. The conditions of Jennie’s house were not very good. The storefront of this small restaurant should not be very large, and the passenger flow must also be average.

Jennie walked to the opposite side of the school and ruled out a few large stores since the business there was very hot. After looking for a few more minutes she found the small restaurant that Jennie’s parents had.

It really was a “small” restaurant. The four tables inside took up most of the space. The restaurant had dim lighting, and when one entered they were assaulted by the strong smell of food that had too much MSG.

As soon as Jennie arrived at the door, a little white fat man came up from behind her, shoving Jennie aside without hesitation, “Why are you standing at the door, are you doing an exhibition?” After he finished talking, he walked in.

Jennie frowned and stared at the back of the little fat man’s head for a long time before following him in.

The restaurant served home-cooked dishes, and students usually ordered one rice and two side dishes, just like in the cafeteria. Since school had just finished, there are many students in the small shop.

Father Kim is responsible for cooking and Mother Kim is responsible for serving the students. Jennie followed Seungmin into the back kitchen. Father Kim, who was cooking, saw his baby son’s plump face and smiled widely, “Seungmin is home.”

He asked his son a few questions about his day before finally noticing Jennie. Looking at her pale and malnourished face his smile disappeared immediately.

“Why are you standing there? There are so many people in the restaurant and you’re still not helping?! Are your two eyes only useful for glaring at me?”

Jennie glanced back. At this moment, there were many students in the restaurant. She stayed silent for a few seconds before heading out. Putting down her school bag she went out to help mother Kim serve dishes.

Jennie didn’t mind this kind of work. In her previous life, she had done all kinds of jobs to collect tuition fees for school.

She brought out the finished dishes, and then took back the plates after the customer finished eating. When she entered the kitchen again she saw Father Kim quickly fry three dishes and put them in front of Seungmin.

Two meat dishes and one vegetable, the dishes are clean, and compared to the oily and greasy dishes sold to students it was obvious they were a much higher quality.

Jennie used her money to buy lollipops for her classmates every day. She doesn’t eat much and was painfully skinny. Looking at the meal she felt her stomach rumble in hunger. Putting down the plates she started to wash her hands in order to eat. Father Kim saw her actions and looked at her strangely.

“Why are you washing your hands when you should be working? Go help your mother out with the checkout,” He turned around towards his son, his eyes full of affection, “Son take your time to eat, father cooked it especially for you.”

Jennie’s eyes dimmed as she watched Father Kim stare at Seungmin who was eating. Realizing the original Jennie’s place in this family she then threw the plates in the sink, washed her hands, picked up her school bag and walked away without looking back.

Father Kim and Seungmin didn’t react as that stared in shock at her departing figure. After a few moments passed, Father Kim finally realized what just happened. “You get back here right now! Are you trying to shame me? Does being unhappy mean you don’t do your job? You don’t know how to work, and you can’t study, completely useless!”

Jennie continued to make her way out, ignoring Father Kim’s echoing shouts.

She fumbled through her pockets for some change and bought the cheapest and fullest bread in the shop nextdoor. Sitting on a small stone stool not far from a hotel, she took out her chemistry book and gnawed at the bread while reading.

Jennie was quite fortunate that it has just been a little more than a month since the first year of high school started, and the learning content is not too heavy. Even if there were many things she needed to relearn, she would be able to quickly catch up.

Jennie used to be a liberal arts student, and even though it had been a long time since she learned history and geography, she still had some memories of it. Before transmigrating into the novel, Jennie was in her sophomore year of college. She had studied finance, and was very good at mathematics. She had also just finished taking her level 6 english exams..

So the main subjects she needed to supplement was physics and chemistry.

After reading a chapter of a chemistry textbook while biting on a slice of bread, the sky outside grew dark, and she finally saw the Seungmin walk out of the small restaurant.

Father Kim and Mother Kim stood alongside their son, and told him to pay attention to safety before returning to the store.

Jennie put away her textbook and followed the little fat boy back to Kim family’s house.

The Kim family’s house is an old house with only 6 floors. It was bought by the Kim family a long time ago.

Seungmin hummed as he walked through the corridors. When he turned around, he saw a dark figure behind him, and his face paled.

After seeing Jennie, his eyes narrowed, and he kicked Jennie’s legs, “What are you doing being so sneaky, are you trying to scare me to death?”

Jennie stepped on Seungmin foot and walked past him without blinking.

“Are you blind?! Ah!” Seungmin howled behind her.

Inside the house watching TV was Granny Kim. Hearing the familiar howling of her grandson she, hurriedly went to open the door, “What was that loud noise? What happened to your brother?”

“He’s behind me. ” Jennie said simply before stepping through the door, and putting down her schoolbag. Afterwards, she calmly headed to the restroom.

Seungmin walked in crying and clutching his feet. In fact, it didn’t hurt much. But when he lowered his head, he saw a black footprint on his white sneakers, and he suddenly stopped breathing. These were the new shoes that Kim’s father helped him buy the day before yesterday. Now it was dirt!

Seungmin rushed into Jennie’s room and found no one. When he saw the bathroom light was on, he stood in front of the door and started shouting.

When the old lady Kim heard that Jennie had stepped on her grandson’s foot, she immediately joined him in knocking on the door, “You are so old, yet don’t you have eyes to walk?!”

Seungmin who was not focused not on his feet hurting but on his shoes, cried sadly. “My new shoes.”

“I’ll let your sister wash it for you…”

“It won’t be new after washing…”

The grandmother and grandson drug shouted outside, and soon arranged a punishment for Jennie on their own terms.

Before she came here Jennie had no father or mother, so she went to university due to the support of some kind people. At that time, she had always wondered how good it would be to have parents and a family one day.

Now that she had parents, and a grandma and brother, Jennie felt in her heart that it was better to leave.

With such relatives, she would rather be an orphan.

She had to think of a way to move out, and finally separated from the Kim family, but now she is still a high school student. Where would she move out to live? What would she use for living expenses? She had to slowly plan.

After thinking about this, Jennie turned her gaze on the face in the mirror without paying attention to the movements outside.

At first glance, the entire brow furrowed.

According to the book, the villainess Jennie had counterattacked based on her looks.

It is written in the novel that Jennie was not good-looking before high school, she was thin and frail, and had nothing to do with being pretty.

Later, she liked Suho, but was hated by Suho, because she was jealous of Irene and harmed Irene. Later she dropped out of school.

After that, there was no news of her again, until after a few years later when she returned with a surprise. She hooked up several stupid and rich dudes using her beautiful face, and made trouble for Irene.

Unfortunately, the Jennie now is still that yellow-faced clown.

Not only that, Jennie also obviously applied a layer of inferior cosmetics on her face, perhaps BB cream or foundation, which turned white and purple on her face. All of her face was painted in makeup but her neck was not, that left her neck and ears being several shades darker then her face.

In addition, her eyes were also applied with an awkward eyeliner, directly turning her double eyelids into an inner double eyelid.

The corners of Jennie’s mouth twitched and she squeezed out some facial cleanser. After washing it twice, Jennie’s facial features were finally revealed.

Her face was small, and her pores were tiny, the bridge of her nose is high, and her lips are not too full but not too thin either. A pair of soft limpid eyes are slender and slightly raised, forming a finishing touch on her face. Unfortunately she was too skinny and despite her good features there was no beauty in her looks.

Irene’s apricot eyes and lips are sweet and harmless, and Jennie’s face was the opposite of Irene. Compared to Irene, Jennie’s features are more aggressive.

It was no wonder that Jennie could come back amazingly beautiful in the future. With such facial features she definitely had amazing capital.

Jennie’s skin was not truly dark, but her skin was dull and her complexion is a dark yellow. She had long, withered hair, dry lips, and her whole person is thin.

No matter how much BB cream is applied, how can her face look good without collagen? Jennie is a little bit confused about Jennie’s brain circuit in the book. Keep the money, drink more milk and eat more eggs, and she definitely would not look so bad.

She had such a good face, and yet she looked even worse than a ghost.

After she finished washing her face she walked out of the bathroom. The Kim family’s house was very old but quite big. After all, there were two older sisters before her. Jennie looked around and entered the smallest room in the south.

She had yet to sit down for a full minute before Seungmin kicked open her door. His chin pointed high he held up a pair of shoes to her.

“Clean this for me, you must wash it until it’s new and looked exactly the way it did before,” Seeing that Kim Lian didn’t move he quickly urged her, “Hurry up and wash it and then dry it as soon as possible. I will wear it in two days!”
