Let it be noted that since Accel World has been Licensed so that English Translations are impossible to find of the later novels. Most of my understanding of the characters here are from reading the Japanese versions. And as I understand that most of my readers aren't exactly Japanese, I wanted to make sure that this didn't end up like the 'Othinus scenario' where she just showed up in RIFT and everyone was wondering "who the heck is this chick?"

So as to update you all on the characters that were not introduced in English Translations. Here are the members of Nega Nebulus that joined or rejoined after Sky Raker.

Utai Shinomiya: Ardor Maiden

Akiri Himi: Aqua Current (She actually made one Anime Appearance if you remember her.)

Shihoko Nago: Chocolate Puppeteer

Yume Yuruki: Mint Mitten

Satomi Mito: Plum Flipper

Metatron: Metatron. (She is a God- Class resident of the Unlimited Field. An AI which has gained a Fluctlight intelligence like Yui.)

Mint Mitten, Plum Flipper and Chocolate Puppeteer will at most make Cameo appearances, just to give a heads up. Firstly because they never struck me as potentially important characters in the Viros Invasion plot.. and secondly because I really can't write down 'Plum Flipper' without bursting into giggles.

Character who MIGHT join Nega Nebulus in the future: Graphite Edge. Perhaps the one person who pretty much destroyed the theory of Kuroyukihime being Kirito and Asuna's kid. As it turns out, it was Graphite Edge.. a dual wielding swordsman avatar, who taught Kuroyukihime how to use Star Burst Stream and Vorpal Strike.

"We found.. nothing.." Chiyu said.. looking utterly depressed.

They had just walked out of the Dicey Café.. or as it was now called, the Old Saloon. Apparently.. after retiring Agil had sold his shop and moved years ago.. according to the current owner that is.. and other then him.. pretty much a lot of people Mikoto knew had disappeared.

Sinon, Kirito, Asuna, Accelerator.. Touma, Index.. Kanzaki.. so many had all just disappeared off the face of the earth just like she had. Even Shizuri Mugino was gone.. in fact.. there were currently 8 new Level 5s in Academy City.. all of them completely different people from the Original 7. Azure Sapphire was the current Number 3.. And thankfully, according to the hospital, she was going to make it just fine.

"I'm so sorry Misaka-san." said Haru, looking sadly at the computer tucked under his arm. "But.. we've looked all day.. and we've come up with nothing.."

"It's fine.." Mikoto said, her voice a little shakey. "After all.. it's like Aslenia said.. I'll be returning to my time at some point.. I just wonder.."

"How you disappeared?" Chiyu finished. She looked at the setting sun and orange sky. "You know what? We need to pull out all the stops... tomorrow.. we're gathering the whole gang.. all of Nega Nebulus!! "

"Nega.. what?"

"It's our Legion" said Haru. "In Brain Burst.. we're all a part of it.. and it's run by our Sempai, Kuroyukihime.. also called Black Lotus."

"I see." said Mikoto. "But.. how could she help me?"

"Well.. we'll just have to see." said Chiyu. "Anyways.. most of our members aren't available right now.. Ardor Maiden's out on a school trip.. and so are the most of the Elements.. even Chocolate Puppeteer's out.. all that's here currently.. is maybe Aqua Current, Taku, Sky Raker.. and Black Lotus of course.. Hey! I got it.. why don't you join our Legion?"

"..." Mikoto paused. "I'm not sure if that's wise.. I'm not going to be here forever.."

"Are you?" said Chiyu. "Cause in all honesty.. the way you said this Aslenia person talked.. she made it sound like you were going to go back.. then come back at some point.. if you're coming back anyways, why not join?"

"I-I guess." Mikoto said. "Sure.. guess Violet Sparkplug can join Nega Nebulus..."

"Happy to have you!" said Chiyu. "But I guess I would have to tell Sempai.. but it's getting late.. Haru.. you heading home?"

"Yeah." said Haru. "Misaka-san.. you can sleep on my bed and.."

"Me.. sleep on your bed?" Mikoto asked, sounding slightly amused.

"Oh.. right!! Sorry.. forgot."

"Can I even sleep in this world?" Mikoto asked.

"You can." said Chiyu. "Some people prefer to Full Dive then sleep in their Full Dive environment."

"Like SAO.." Mikoto murmured. "Okay.. I guess this will do then.."

That night.. Haru slept with the computer on his bedside table. His dreams were very uneasy at this point.. Several times.. he woke up thinking somebody was calling for him.

Making sure it wasn't Mikoto, he would then go back to sleep. But that was when things got much stranger..

He was Silver Crow walking through a large set of halls and rooms.. people in armor with a look to them that suggested something from a Fantasy Genre Game ran past.. looking rather battle ready. Nobody seemed to be able to see him.

Noticing that his Ability Gauge was full, he activated his wings and flew around a bit.. marveling at the in depth detailed environment. He then saw a strange group running through a room.

Two boys.. one in black.. the other in blue.. a girl with tufty blue hair and eyes that suggested sharpness of vision. And in her arms.. she held..

"Misaka-san!!" Crow exclaimed, recognizing her.

Sinon stopped in her tracks, looking around , as if she noticed something. "Hey guys.. did you hear that?"

"What?" Kirito asked, turning around

"I think I might have heard.. somebody call out for Mikoto.."

"You're shaken up from that beating Alice gave you." said Eugeo. "There's nobody here.. come on.. "

As they ran up the stairs.. Silver Crow made to follow. But somebody's hand grabbed his shoulder. It was a small girl who appeared as a scrawny, doll-like cute ten year old girl with milky-white skin, chestnut-brown eyes and short, curly hair of the same color. She wore a magician-like robe with velvet-like luster and a greatly inflated hat made from the same material and carried a staff longer than her own height, all of which made her look like an elderly scholar. Her most striking feature was her eyes, fringed by long eyelashes and beyond the round glasses, daintily worn on her nose, give an overwhelming presence of knowledge and wisdom. Just looking at these eyes made one feel like they were sucked into a depth with no definite end.

"Hello Mr. Crow." said the girl. "I've been expecting you.."

"You.. can see me?" Silver Crow asked.

"Well.. of course. . you and I are currently in the same program." said the girl. "You see.. Alicization is a particularly complex program that involves multiple layers overlapped over each other. You and I are just in the layer right above the one where most of the Underworld's programs reside.. and as a result.. only those who are in the same layer can see each other. I just have somewhat of an ability to put myself in this transparent layer."

"Who are you?" Haru asked, feeling a little curious.

"I am Cardinal." said the girl. "Or.. I should be. I'm the system that was supposed to run this entire program.. much like my many sisters who run the other VRMMOs like ALfheim.. Gun Gale.. or the extremely complex version that runs Brain Burst. You see.. The rather nice Viros told me she would be sending you to me to explain things soon.. and I felt rather pleased it was somebody who possessed flight.. flight is indeed such a glorious thing."

"You said you don't run this system like the other Cardinals." said Haru. "What did you mean by that?"

"I shall explain that to Misaka when she sees me after she returns tomorrow.. the question is though.. would you return with her? If only for a moment?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Haru asked.

"It does have a bit of a literal meaning, I can assure you of that." said Cardinal. "But.. I need you to promise me something.. for her sake."

"What do you need?"

"Somewhere.. in that future." said Cardinal. "Misaka.. along with a great number of her friends are frozen in time.. and it is somewhere in Japan.. please.. find them and wake them up."

"Wake.. them.. up?" Haru muttered. "Hold on.. wait what do you-?"

Haru awoke in his bed.. blinking. Had that been real? Day light was streaming through the window of his room.. and he heard somebody humming a merry tune in his kitchen..

"Mom?" Haru muttered. No it couldn't be.. his mother wouldn't be caught dead cooking for him or happy with him being in the same house on any day of the week... then.. what was that sound?

Haru got out of his bed.. and walked to the kitchen.. and was rather stunned to see a white humanoid robot with a spherical head and round eyes taking frozen waffles out of the toaster.

It was an old Academy City robot that he had found at a junkyard once, and had been working on with Kuroyukihime to fix up for fun.. and.. here it was.. MAKING HIM BREAKFAST!?

"Oh.. morning Arita-san!" said the robot in Mikoto's voice. "I know this might be surprising.. but I found out I can upload myself into different kinds of hardware around the place. Cool huh?"

"M-Misaka-san!?" said Haru.

"In the flesh.. erm.. I mean metal.. circuits.. or.. yeah." said Mikoto. "I'm sorry, I'm not a good cook at all.. I pretty much burned every cookie I've ever baked except for when Saten-san helps me.. so I just microwaved and toasted some stuff.. it's the least I can do after you've been so kind."

"Thank you." said Haru as Mikoto placed a plate in front of him on the table. "So.. how does it feel being a robot?"

"Kinda dull." said Mikoto. "I'm able to use the Neuro Linker to imitate the sensation of feeling and touch whenever I carry things and stuff. that way I don't go clumsy and knock things over.. but smell and other stuff.. well.. it's like wearing a bulky suit.. only at least I'm not sweating.."

"What time is it?" said Haru.

"Around 8." said Mikoto. "I woke up at 6.. took me around an hour to figure out the uploading thing.. I think Kurashima-san messaged me that she and the others you guys mentioned would be here at around 9?"

"Yeah! I've got to get dressed!!" Haru stammered, stuffing his breakfast down hurriedly and then hurrying into his room to do just that.

A little later.. the doorbell rang.. and Haru stumbled to the front door to find Mikoto was already opening it.

"Hello!" said Mikoto cheerfully to the two girls outside. One was a tall girl with long tea colored hair. Though, if you listened closely to the way she moved her legs.. you could tell that they were actually highly advanced prosthetics. Known as Sky Raker in Brain Burst.. called Fuko Kurasaki in the real world. (Sky Raker has regained her legs since the Flight To The Starry Sky arch in Brain Burst.)

The other girl had shorter hair and glasses, and a rather intelligent look. Known as Aqua Current, but called Akira Himi in the real world.

"Oh?" said Fuko, blinking with surprise. "Did Crow-san get a robot maid?"

"S-sorry!!" said Haru. "She's not actually a robot.. or.. maybe she is.. er.. She's the one we messaged about.. Himi-san, Kurasaki-sempai.. this is Mikoto Misaka.. Violet Sparkplug."

"Yo!" said Mikoto, waving.

"See some of the crew's already arrived." said Chiyu, suddenly appearing, dragging a brown haired boy with glasses with her. "Hi again Misaka! Looking good with that robo-bod! This is Takumu Mayuzumi! AKA Cyan Pile!"

After everyone had been introduced Mikoto bowed respectfully. "It's good to meet you all.. forgive me.. but.. wasn't there supposed to be more of you?"

"Not everyone was available." said Akira, pushing her glasses in. "But.. Kuroyukihime should be in momentarily. She messaged me that she might be slightly late. There was some construction going on nearby."

Sure enough.. she came..

She was a beautiful girl.. that much was certain.. her long black hair was black enough to earn her the Black Snow Princess name. her eyes were a stunning dark violet, and she even managed to make her school uniform look like something worn by a supermodel.

The regal way in which she regarded everything spoke of her pride.. however, beneath one could probably feel that despite her prideful demeanor, she was extraordinarily kind and wise, as well as extremely ambitious.

"Hello.." said Kuroyukihime to Mikoto without even pausing to wonder who the robot was. "I figure you must be Misaka-san.. as me and Haru haven't yet figured out how to work that old robot for months.."

Haru looked between Kuroyukihime and Mikoto tentatively. He knew for a fact that sometimes Kuroyukihime could get jealous if she suspected somebody was flirting with him.. and.. whether or not she was a Fluctlight trapped in a program.. Mikoto was still a girl staying in Haru's house.

But Kuroyukihime seemed more curious then jealous, so Haru breathed an internal sigh of relief.

After everybody sat down, with a cup of tea in front of them, they began to exclaim their curiosity, and also enthusiasm.. at this strange new member of their legion.

"An avatar that can copy color and abilities and add them as stances to their ability menu." said Taku (Takumu's nickname.. like with Chiyu and Haru). "That's going to get plenty of Burst Linkers in an uproar. You'll have to be careful Misaka-san.. "

"That's especially if Misaka finds a way to copy the Seven King's abilities.." said Fuko. "A chameleon avatar.. most glorious.."

"In any case." said Kuroyukihime. "It's time we started discussing the real issue of why we're here.. If I deduced things correctly.. we're here to hopefully find Misaka's friends.. and perhaps find a way to send her back to her time? Correct?"

"Actually.." said Mikoto. "The situation's changed a bit.. I KNOW I'm going to be sent back eventually.. but.. I want to know what happened when I disappeared.. when my friends disappeared.. so..."

"So that we can find her and wake her up." finished Haru. "I.. I had a dream last night about this.. and I don't think it was an ordinary dream.."

When Haru finished his story.. everyone seemed stunned.

"Haru.. you think.. it might just be a.. dream?" said Taku. "Nothing more?"

"It isn't." said Mikoto. "I.. never described Sinon to any of you.. and yet.. you described her perfectly Haru.. but.. what were they doing in the Cathedral? What happened to them!? I always figured only those who won the Zattaria Four Empires Tournament were invited into the Cathedral to become Integrity Knights."

"Things have been happening it seems.." said Kuroyukihime. "All the more reason you need to go back. And I have probably found a way for you to go back.. and a way to find out where you are.."

"R-really!?" said Haru.

"It's actually quite simple when you think of it." said Kuroyukihime. "From what we can derive from all the clues.. your body seems to be connected with your Fluctlight still.. which means there must be a program transmitted from somewhere, sending you here.. "

"You're talking about creating a possible back tracing program to send Misaka-san back to her time.. just by back tracing to the source." said Taku. "Going back the way you came in."

"Yes.." said Kuroyukihime. "I figure it's only a matter of time before the program itself determines it's time for Misaka to go back.. and then pulls her back.. but we can't wait for that now.. not now that we can see there's so much going on.. we need to forcibly put a back tracer in.. perhaps through the Neuro Linker.. and.. I think.. that we can also Full Dive to her location with her.."

"Is that even possible?" said Akira. "Full Diving through time?"

"It's not dangerous.. and it's entirely possible. " said Kuroyukihime. "All we would need to do is link our Avatar's information to the streaming back tracer.. then create a simple rudimentary program for loggin out... and since we're logging back in time.."

"Since we're going to the past.. and returning to the same time.. it will take not time at all back here.." said Mikoto. "Wow.. sounds extremely outlandish.. not to mention very unrealistic.. but.. considering I've tangled with magicians.. I guess this is even more logical. So.. you guys would be able to come back with me and help?"

"Theoretically.." said Kuroyukihime. "I will have to take a look at your program and see what I'm working with.. Haru? Care to help me?"

"R-right Sempai!"

"So.." Mikoto said as Haru brought out his laptop. "How does this help figure out where I am?"

"Well.." said Kuroyukihime. "I think it's possible.. that we can figure out what happened to you if we do come back with you.. "

"I-I've found it!" said Haru. "It's.. a strange program... and it's huge.. in fact, there's no possible way it should fit in my computer at all.. "

"That's probably because it's connected to a massive other system that's holding the rest of it." said Chiyu. "A system we can't see.."

"And there's a problem though.." said Haru. "There's only room for two more avatars to full dive with Misaka's program..."

Everyone looked at each other..

Kuroyukihime then smiled. "Misaka... if you don't mind.. I'm curious to see this Underworld for myself.."
