Ronan wipes his forehead.

It has been 4 years since he came to this planet.

He wakes up in a body of an illegitimate ger of a wealthy family.

The original owner of the body was used by the family and was given to a larger family to give birth to their grandson.

Not only is he was unwilling.

The wealthy family son is also unwilling and they are drugged to make the union.

Only stopping when they learned he was pregnant.

Even before he gives birth. The wealthy son rose in his rank in military and vanished his family for all they did wrong in the past. The original owner's family was also included and their wealth was confiscated.

The man took pity on him because they both been used.

After he gives birth, the wealthy son took his son and gave him money.

The original owner of the body died from giving birth and he took over. He took the money and went to a rural planet called Planet NZ2100.

He bought a farm and built a house there.

The planet is very rural and only a few ten thousand family lives in this planet.

He was looking at his tomato patches and give a satisfied smile.

In the capital star(planet), there is a shop where you can buy fresh ingredients easily but in this planet, you need to go to the market or grow your own food. Plus the vegetable here is not worth much.

Ronan realize as he lives here that this is actually a civilization after Earth collapsed.

Maybe global warning is actually the caused. After the people plead to the other planet, alot of people died and some luckily survive. Found aliens/intelligent life force and mate. Right now everyone might have different skin color or hair or eyes. But everyone are descendant from the surviving human back then.

There's alot of things advance too from after Earth. But things in terms with food is almost wiped out.

There are theory but the truth is slavery. Human are weak life form that can withstand gravity and atmosphere that isnt Earth so they are become slaves for the aliens.

Things got nasty and ofcourse, human food become harder and harder to pass down to the next generation.

Alot of enthusiast bringing the old human tradition, they called it 'home coming'. Also by intergrating the old human ways, they can finally let go of the part where they are once slave by the other races.

The current Emperor of the 120 human planet actually experience that slavery when he was little. That is why everyone is trying their best to erase it.

The Emperor is already 526 years old.

Ronan learned that the mixed of the race made human also change and it increase their lifespan.

Ronan is digging some potatoes.

Some neighbor kids love to visit him in the weekends and he gives them simple treats.

Right now, Ronan is thinking of feeding them some deep fried potato sticks/french fries.

Ronan small house has 5 rooms. 3 are use to store some crops and bottles of pickled and preserve food. One is a room he is using and the last one is incase there is a visitor.

But Ronan doesnt have a family here.

The original owner of the body's family are in jail and some fled in farthest part of the Empire. No need to worry about them.

He is mixing his home made tomato sauce and mayonaise when his quantum bracelet blinks red.

He pressed on it.

A wide rectangular projection flashed out the quantum bracelet

"Hello, Im from the Military Affairs. I believe you are the mother of General Floyd's son, Ronan West?"

He frowns.

Floyd, ofcourse he knows him.

He is the person that didnt blame him as he punish his family, gives him money and tell him that he can live his life freely now.

He nods his head.

But Floyd never called him...The mother of his son. To Floyd and to him, they arent parents, they are both victim. And he wanted to keep the baby, give it a better life. He doesnt have that much of affection for the baby. He isnt the real mother and it wasnt him that died for the baby, it was the original. So he agrees.

After that, they both live their lives.

So he feels awkward nodding his head when asked.

"The General had an accident. His family seize all his property only his personal money was left. They refused to takee the father and son so I checked and found you. Are you willing to take your son under you?"

He was shocked, surprise and he felt pity. He heard he vanished his family but never been too harsh on them yet at the first opportunity, they come and take everything he work hard to earn.

"Is there nobody else to take in the child?" He isnt confident he can become a proper parent so he hesitate.

He saw that the woman face turn ugly.

"No one. All the General trusted men are either in jail for wrong accusation and the rest died to save his life."

"........Ill take care of the child." Then he paused.

"How about the General?"

The woman paused.

"That...He will stay in the hospital."

"Oh. Does he need to stay in the hospital?"

"Would you want to take care of him too?"

He blinks. Maybe she misunderstand his hesitation to take in the boy so now she is surprise that he is willing to be responsible.

"I live in a rural planet. The air here is cleaner than the central Star and its not very noisy. If he can recover fast here. Isnt it good? I can take care fo the two. Im sure the boy will also like to stay with his dad."

"I understand. Ill arrange it soon."

The call ended.

"Okay. Its time to clean up the other room."

Ronan cleaned the room and starts searching online what happened to General Floyd but there is nothing. Only a few details of betrayal and then General Family seizing his wealth.

"In every world, human really are ridiculous."
