We took our flashlights out and shined around.

This was creepy as hell.

Jerry "Uh Hey, guys? "

We looked up to the cliff we had fallen off of.

Alpha was standing there, looking down at us.

Carol screamed at her as Alpha walked out.

Magna and i were trying to climb up on the walls to the cliff but we were failing.

Suddenly i lost grip and fell down.

I groaned out.

Magna fell down next to me" Damn. "

Aaron "You okay? "

i nodded.

Magna "I almost had it."

Daryl shook his head "Nah, it's too high. You risk breakin' your neck. We need to find a better way."

Then he froze as he looked at something.

Aaron "You got something?"

Daryl " Groundwater's deeper in here. That water's coming from outside. "

Carol " I don't see a way across. "

Aaron"Whoa, whoa. Go back, go back."

Daryl shined on some rocks that were ahead of us.

Aaron " We could use those to jump across."

Daryl " Nice. "

Kelly asked shocked " Wait. For real? "

Aaron nodded.

This was pretty dangerous.

Daryl "All right. You ready? "

Aaron "Let's go. "

Daryl jumped first onto another stone.

The walkers walked over to him, reaching for him.

They weren't able to actually grab him since the stone was too big but one wrong move from Daryl and it's over.

Daryl "Come on. Let's go!"

Then he jumped onto another stone.

I jumped onto the rock and then followed Daryl. The others followed me.

Daryl made it to the other side.

I was on the last stone.

Daryl looked at me and reached out to me " Come on! Come on! Come on. I gotcha. "

I jumped over to him and breathing out relieved. Kelly and Connie were the last ones to jump over.

One of the walkers grabbed Kelly's foot.

I took my blade out and cut its arm off "son of a bitch. "

Daryl " Hey, hand me that thing."

I handed him the arm " Knock yourself out, D."

Then we climbed up the other other cliff.

Daryl used the walker arm as a torch and handed it to Connie "Alright. I need you to stay here, all right? Keep everyone together. "

Connie nodded.

Daryl lit up a match and tried to figure out were the wind was coming from.

Aaron "Should I even ask how we're doing on food? "

Jerry "Not great. "

Kelly "Food? How long do you think we gonna be here?"

Jerry " Hey, no worries. Walkers got in here somehow. We'll get out."

Aaron " I think we know exactly how they got here. Alpha put them here. These are theirs. We have to assume we're not alone. "

Connie looked at Carol worriedly.

Carol "I'm fine. Just a little winded. "

Me "She's claustrophobic. "

Magna "Why didn't you think of that before you got us all trapped down here? "

I raised an eyebrow at her.

Aaron "Hey. It's not the time for this. "

Magna "Why not? Seems like we have plenty of it. What the hell were you thinking, huh? Running off like that by yourself. "

I stepped in front of her "knock it off, Magna"

Magna looked at me "you were right behind her. Could've stopped her from going inside but no-"

Daryl called out "Hey! We ain't got time for this shit. We got in this mess together. We're gonna get out of it together. Now follow me. I think I found a way out. "

We followed him deeper into the cave.

We all had stopped for a little break.

I walked over to Daryl and sat down next to him "Why aren't you mad at me?"

Daryl "for what?"

Me "you know as good as i do that i wouldn't have stopped Carol. you know i would have helped her "

Daryl " If I only knew what you told me, I wouldn't know shit. "

Me "Look who's talking."

Daryl " It's like I can't even turn my back on you anymore. It's bad enough I got Aaron running around with that skin freak. Now I gotta worry about you all half-cocked every time you go outside. "

I sighed "I'm sorry. "

Daryl "I begged you to talk to me. I wanna be there for you. I do. I don't know what to do anymore, girl."

I took a deep breath " i just want to see her dead. I want nothing more than to see her dead"

Daryl "If I went through all the shit that you went through I'd probably feel the same way. "

I nodded.

Daryl "Unless you tried to stop me. You gotta quit all this. You gotta. People you care about are starting to get hurt."

I shook my head and stood up "i didn't want any of this, Daryl. I know i -"

Daryl stood up "You gotta not bullshit me. Don't bullshit me. You gotta promise. I gotta know we're on the same team, baby. We fight for our future. We don't fight for revenge. "

I nodded "I promise. "

Daryl grabbed me "Alright. "

Then he kissed me.

I kissed back.

suddenly we heard Magna scream "Skins!"

We grabbed our weapons and ran over to her. Her hand was stuck in a hole in the wall.

Skins jumped in our way.

I cut off one's head.

We killed the few that were coming to us.

Daryl "Let's go"

We walked down a path.

Carol " If we don't follow each other in the dark, we're gonna get split up. "

Daryl "She's right. "

Me "We stick together."

Aaron " At least we know there's a way out now. "

Magna "Yeah, but where? "

Jerry "I think they went this way. "

Daryl "You see where they went? "

Jerry gestured to an arrow that was carved into a stone "Not exactly, but I know a road sign when I see one. "

Daryl was the first to walk through the tight wall in the wall.

One by one we followed him.

I hate this.

I looked back to Jerry "you okay Jerry?"

Jerry "yeah sure. I'm just a 6'2" dude that had trouble fitting into airplane bathrooms. why wouldn't i be okay?"

Me "fair enough"

Daryl called out "all right, i'm out. follow my voice!"

Aaron, Jerry and i were the last ones.

Suddenly i heard growling.

I whispered "guys"

walkers showed up behind Jerry.

Jerry yelled "go go go go go"

Me "Jerry, come on!"

Daryl called out "Ken, get outta there!"

Aaron climbed out before me.

I turned to Jerry who froze.

Jerry " Guys! I'm I'm stuck. "

I shook my head "no no no no no"

Then i held my hand out "take my hand"

He grabbed my hand.

Daryl "Ken!"

Jerry " My feet! My feet! They got my feet! They're biting my feet!My feet! "

Me "Take your gear off! Take it off! "

He handed me his weapon and i held it out of the opening for someone to take it from me.

Jerry kicked the walkers away with his legs.

I called out "Daryl, hand me my blade"

Daryl "why?"

Me "just do it!"

He handed me my blade and i laid down so that my feet were hanging out of the opening.

I felt the girls holding my feet.

Me "Jerry try to climb up a little and suck in your stomach"

Jerry "why?"

Me "just do it"

He did and i stuck my arm with the blade down the little gap and tried to kill the walkers. i could actually feel the blade slicing through the skulls.

Jerry "don't hurt me, Ken"

Me "I'm doing my best. Just tell me when the pressure on your legs is gone"

Jerry nodded "mhmm"

I kept killing some walkers.

Jerry "jo jo jo jo jo"

I yelled "pull me up!"

The guys pulled both Jerry and me out of the hole.

I sat down on the ground, out of breath.

Kelly checked Jerry's shoes who was on the ground "You good? It's okay. They didn't bite through. You're good. It's alright. It's okay."

Jerry breathed out relieved and looked at me "Thank you"

I nodded "anything"

Daryl walked over to me, pissed off.

I breathed out "here we go"

Daryl "the hell were you thinking? you can't just stick your hand through a hole with walkers on the other side"

Me "i was saving Jerry"

Daryl "and what if you had gotten bitten?"

Me "then i would have ended up like Aaron! now calm down, i am fine"

Magna looked into nothing "Hey. Look! "

Daryl rushed over to her and grabbed her before she stepped down a cliff " Wait! "

Magna breathed out shocked.

Daryl lit the walker arm and threw it down the cliff. It was in the air for a couple of seconds and we could hear walker growling.

The thing landed on the ground and there were walkers around it. a horde.

The light died down.

Daryl cracked open a wooden door and we walked through it.

we walked down the path.

Magna "Why are we standing around looking at it? "

Kelly " We got to be very careful. We take out the wrong piece, this whole thing is gonna collapse. "

Daryl " Alright, find something to dig with. Hey, Aaron, can you help me with this? "

Aaron walked to him "Yeah, yeah. "

Kelly walked to us " Hey, check this out. Yo. Somebody left this crate of dynamite."

Jerry " Yeah, okay, that's really cool. But maybe somebody left it there because it's obviously insanely dangerous. That thing's sweatier than I am. I need you to put it back. Very carefully. "

Kelly put it back.

The guys crashed through the wooden ceiling. Sunlight came shining through.

My eyes teared up a little from the light difference

Kelly stuck her head out "Just a little more! "

I looked around and saw Carol gone.

Then i walked back to the cliff and saw Carol there.

I hissed when i saw the dynamite in her hand "What the hell are you doing?"

Carol "We can take out half her horde from here. "

Me "You're gonna get yourself killed. "

Carol's voice cracked as she put the dynamite into the hole we had climbed through earlier " She killed my boy."

I nodded " I know. But you gotta come back with me. Please. Come on."

Carol nodded and walked back.

I tried to grab the dynamite but then i heard something explode. I accidentally made it roll down the hole and it exploded.

Damn it.

Daryl rushed to me, yelling "come on, come on, let's go!"

he grabbed me and pulled me to Aaron who was dying his best to keep this place from collapsing. Jerry switched places with Aaron so he could climb out.

Kelly yelled from outside "we got freaks "

Daryl climbed up first and then Carol.

Connie, Magna and i were left as the hole was collapsing.

Daryl reach down to me "go ahead, ken"

I held my hand up and he helped me out of the hole.

The place was collapsing.

Daryl "Jerry,!Jerry! give me your hand!"

Jerry climbed out, leaving Magna and Connie behind. We ran down the hill as the whole place collapsed shut.

I coughed out.

Kelly yelled, crying "no"

Daryl tried to pull the stones away to reopen the hole but it was useless.

I sighed "Daryl. Daryl. It'll take us a week to clear this. "

Daryl "Then help me! "

Kelly sobbed out " No. We can't! That blast is gonna call walkers and Whisperers from a hundred miles from here. We don't want our backs pressed against this mountain when they come. We can't save them if we're dead. "

Daryl looked at me.

Aaron held his hand out " Come on. "

Daryl grabbed it and climbed down.

Carol was already a crying mess.

Daryl clenched his jaw at me.

I shook my head, in tears "it was an accident. I tried to stop it, i promise, but...."

He shook his head and tried to walk away.

I pleaded "Daryl, come on, please. You cared about her. And now she's gone because of me. Please, just say it! Please say it! "

Daryl shook his head, pissed off.

I reached out to him but he grabbed my wrist hard and pulled me to him with a hard look.

He was so pissed off, it was actually scary.

It was so scary that i couldn't even say anything.

The grip on my wrist was too hard. It was gonna bruise.

I winced a little and Daryl let go of me.

Daryl looked at Aaron "Go home. Tell the others we found the horde. "

Aaron "Where you gonna be? "

Daryl "They got out before us. There's gotta be another way in."

Then he walked away.

Carol touched me but i moved away, shaking my head "no, this is all your fault. It's your fucking fault!"

Aaron grabbed me and pulled me with him "come on, Ken. Let's go back home"
