We were all sitting in the group room eating breakfest. I was sitting next to Daryl on the stairs. I looked at Carl. He wasn't eating either. I leaned my head on Daryl shoulder while he ate.

He wisperd "You need to eat"

I whispered "not hungry"

He put some cornflakes on his spoon and held it infront of my mouth.

I shook my head. 

Daryl whisperd "Ken, eat"

I opened my mouth a bit.

He shoved the spoon in and then back out.

I gulped it down "happy?"

He shook his head and i sighed. 

Dad walked in through the backdoor and looked around "Everybody okay?"

Maggie nodded"yeah, we are"

I shook my head "not really "

Hershel looked at him "what about you?"

Dad "i cleared the boiler block. "

Daryl "how many where there?"

Dad shrugged "I don't know. A duzen, two duzen. I have to go back. Just wanted to check on Carl and Kendall"

Glenn stood up "Rick, we can handle taking all the bodies. Okay, you don't hav-"

Dad "No, i do"

Then he walked to Daryl "Everyone have a gun and a knife?"

Daryl nodded "Yeah. We're running out of armo, though. "

Glenn "Maggie and i were planning on taking a run this afternoon. "

Daryl "i cleared out the generator room. Axel's there trying to fix it. "

Dad nodded "good. good. good"

He walked back out. 

I stood up "Dad!"

He stopped but then left the door.

 I sighed and walked through the other door out of the cellblock. 

Daryl yelled after me "Ken!"

I walked out and to the watchtower. I walked upstairs and sat down. I leaned against the wall. 

Suddenly i began to cry. 

It was all too much for me. 

Carl and i aren't talking. 

Dad isn't talking to either of us.

I must have fell asleep because i felt someone shaking me. 

Voice "Kendall, get up"

Daryl.

I groaned and shook my head "I'm tired"

Daryl "Come on, Kendall"

I sat up and opened my eyes. 

I raised an eyebrow "What?"

the sun was still up.

I sighed "What do you want, Daryl? i'm tired"

Daryl "i know that you are tired but someone was standing in our front door. Rick let her in."

Me "I don't wanna talk to him"

Daryl sighed "Come inside, Ken. "

I shook my head. He took his keys off and put then on my lap. 

Daryl "If you change your mind, you know where we are"

Then he left.

I was walking into the cellblock. I looked around and noticed Dad looking at me. I walked to my cell. I saw Carol on my way and stopped walking. 

Me "Carol?"

She smiled at me "Kendall"

She walked to me and hugged me. I hugged back. 

I heard Dad say "You okay, Ken?"

I ignored him. I wasn't sad at him anymore. Now i was pissed off.

Carol "how do you feel, Kendall?"

Me "like shit"

I looked around "Where is Maggie and Glenn?"

Daryl walked in "kidnapped. "

My jaw dropped "by who?"

Daryl "by a man who calls himself the Gouverneur"

I raised an eyebrow. The others came. 

Daryl to Dad "you can't go alone"

I nodded "If Daryl's in, i'm in"

Dad shook his head "no way"

I raised an eyebrow at him "Good thing it's not on you to decide that anymore, right?"

Axel and Oscar "count me in"

Carl was helping the guys to back the guns in the trunk.

I saw Dad coming to me. I tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm.

I raised an eyebrow "got your shit together?"

Dad snapped "Don't talk to me like that. How are you feeling, Ken?"

Me "Why do you care?"

Dad said stern "Because i'm your father, Kendall"

Me "Then where was my Father when i needed him most?! hm?!"

Dad sighed "I'm so sorry"

I riped my arm free and scoffed hurt " yeah, me too"

Then I got in the back of the car.

We arrived there by night. We got out of the car and took our weapons out. We were hiding behind the cars who stood by the walls.

I looked at the wall.

Men with guns were on watch.

I saw Michone walking away and whispered "guys"

Suddenly all the guns were aimed at me.

I raised an eyebrow at them.

Then they took the guns down.

Michone came back and pointed in one direction.

Dad nodded "Alright, let's go"

We followed her.

We walked to a secret door in the fence into a house. It was dark inside. We slowly walked around.

Dad asked Michone "Any idea where else they could be?"

Daryl walked to a window. Dad followed him.

Daryl looked out. I looked over his shoulder out.

Daryl "i thought you said there was a curfew."

Michone "The streets are full during the day. "

Dad "if anyone comes in here we gotta move"

Michone "they could be in his apartment"

Daryl "Yeah? what if they ain't?"

Michone "Then we'll look somewhere else. "

We walked away from the window.

Dad "you said you could help us"

Michone snapped "i'm doing what i can"

Oscar "then where the hell are they?"

Dad walked a few steps back. Daryl, Oscar and i followed him.

Dad whispered "If this goes south, we'll let her lose"

Oscar "you think she is leading us into a trap?"

Daryl "right now is the blind leading the blind. Let's split up"

Suddenly some opened the door. We speeded behind the curtain.

Man's voice "alright now, we are not supposed to be in here you know that. "

He walked in our direction. Dad grabbed him by the throat and slammed against the wall.

Dad "shut up. get on your knees"

He kneeled down.

Dad to Daryl "Tie him up"

Daryl tied his hands together.

Dad "where are our people?"

Man "i don't know."

Dad "you are holding some of our people. Where the hell are they?"

Man shook in fear "i don't know"

Dad "open your mouth"

Then he put a tissue in his mouth to shut him up.

Daryl then knocked him out.

Then we left the house. We walked into another house, well, it was a storage hall.

I heard someone talking. 

Merle?

we hid behind a wall.

Then Dad and Daryl threw smoke grenades into the next room.

Then I ran in and shoved Maggie and Glenn out. 

Suddenly i felt a hand on my forearm.

I looked at the person.
