After we turned it off we made our way through the corridors. Glenn and Axel caught up with us. We saw two walkers feeding on a body.
My jaw dropped.
Dad shot them.
I looked at the body, sighing "That's T"
Then I just ran out without thinking.
I looked around "They should be outside by now, shouldn't they?"
Hershel and Beth came to us.
They were okay.
Hershel "Where are T and Carol? the others?"
Daryl shook his head "they didn't make it"
Dad "We don't know that!"
I cracked out "They got T"
Hershel looked down.
Dad shook his head. He was panicking.
Me "Dad, I'm going back in. "
Dad yelled at me"You are not leaving! "
Me " I'm going back inside. They have to be in there somewhere"
Dad yelled again"Damn it, Kendall! I just said you are not going bac-!!"
But he got cut off by baby cries.
Everyone froze.
Dad turned around. Maggie came out with a baby. Carl had a look on his face that said it all.
Maggie was crying.
My jaw dropped and i sobbed out "Oh my god"
Dad "Where is she?"
Maggie shook her head, sobbing"no, Rick, no!"
She was holding the baby.
I looked at Carl. His face said it all.
Dad began to cry and sobbed out "no.!no!no!"
He kept screaming .
I shook my head sobbing "She can't- be. I-i mean-"
Daryl let his crossbow fall and hugged me tight. I tried to push him away.
I screamed sobbing "Let go of me! Daryl, please let go of me!!"
I hit his chest but he didn't let go.
Daryl tried to calm me down "It's going to be okay."
I shook my head.
Then i heard the baby screaming again.

I looked at her.
a little sister.
Then I looked at my dad. He was kneeling down crying.
I tried to let go of Daryl.
He looked at me. I nodded to him.
He let go of me and i walked to dad. i whipped my tears away.
I put a hand on his shoulder and sobbed out "Dad? Look at me, dad."
Then I kneeled down in front of him, took his face in my and and forced him to look at me "Dad, hey, don't let us alone now. please."
He nodded.
I stood up and saw Carl walking with the Baby to Hershel.
I walked to them but stopped next to Daryl "She'll need food. We don't have any food for baby's"
Hershel "the good news is she looks healthy but she needs formula soon or she won't survive"
Daryl took his crossbow and shook his head "nope, no way. not her. we ain't gonna lose anybody else. I'm going for a run"
i nodded "me too"
Glenn and Maggie nodded "We too"
Daryl looked at Beth "Kid just lost his mom. And Rick is-"
Beth nodded "I'll look out for her"
He looked at me "you sure you wanna come?"
I shook my head "I can't stay here, D."
He nodded and looked at the prisoners "You two, on the fence. Too many line up and we got a problem"
Suddenly Rick grabbed an axe and walked into the cellblock.
I yelled after him "Dad!"
Daryl "Glenn, Maggie, Vamonos. Come on, Guys!"
He grabbed my hand and we walked to his motorcycle.
Maggie "The baby station has been cleared. "
Daryl "Is there any place that hasn't been completely cleared?"
Glenn "we saw sings for a shopping center just near here"

Maggie nodded "Yeah but the road is gonna be full"
Daryl looked at me "I'm gonna take Ken"
I cracked him a smile or whatever that was.
Maggie looked at me "you sure?"
I cracked out "Meg"
She nodded understanding "Be careful"
I nodded and got on the bike. Daryl put his crossbow behind me on the thing.
Me "I'm gonna need the bag, Meg"
She threw it to me and i put it on.
Daryl got on the bike and i put my arms around him.
Then he drove off.
----------------
Daryl parked in front of a kindergarten.
We got off the bike.
Daryl "Go in"
I nodded and climbed through a window. I saw baby beds. I took the bag off my back. I walked to a shelf and grabbed some diapers, bottles and a teddy bear.
I heard Daryl climb inside.
When the shelf was empty i looked at Daryl "kitchen"
He nodded and walked to the corridor.
We walked past a door. I saw that it was the kitchen.
Me "D."
He turned around and i nodded at the room. Suddenly i heard a noise. Daryl opened the door carefully and e walked in. There was something in the closet. I ripped the door open. It was a damn opossum.
Daryl shot it and smirked "hello, Dinner"
I opened the shelfs. There was milk powder. Two cans. I put them in my bag.
Daryl sighed "It's getting dark, Ken"
I stopped dead in tracks.
I can't go back there. My mom is dead. I just can't
Daryl "Ken?"
I whispered "i'm not going back"
Daryl "Say what?"
I turned to him "i'm not going back there"
Daryl "Bullshit. You are going back with me, Got me?"
I shook my head and held back my tears "Carl hates me and Dad, well, he's gonna go nuts. I can't"
Daryl put his hands on my cheeks "Listen, i'm only gonna say this once. I'll never ever leave you, Ken."
I nodded "You will, sooner or later"
Daryl "I'll come back. I promise. I'll always come back "
I looked down.
He hugged me.
I chuckled "For someone with a fucked up past you are pretty soft"
Daryl chuckled back "Only for you"
I let go of him.
Daryl "now let's go"
---------
It was already dark when we got back. Glenn opened the gate and we drove in and up the field and parked in front of the building. I got of the bike and Daryl took my bag. We stormed inside and i saw Carl holding her.
Daryl walked to the baby and threw the Bag to Maggie "how is she?"
She was crying. Daryl took her and she calmed down. She was hungry. Beth gave him the bottle. Then he fed the baby.
Glenn came in.
I walked to Glenn and whispered "Dad?"
Glenn shook his head and hugged me.
I hugged him back.
Glenn whispered "i'm so sorry, Ken"
I nodded in tears.
Then I let go of him and he walked to Maggie. I walked to the table in front of Daryl and sat on it.
Carl stood in front of me. I put my arm around his shoulders and hugged him from behind. I put my head on his shoulder and looked at Daryl.
Daryl "she got a name yet?"
Carl shook his head "not yet. I was thinking....maybe Sophia, Carol and Andrea, Amy, Jackie, Patricia or Lori. I don't know"
I hugged him tighter.
Daryl said calm to the baby "You like that? hm? little as kicker, right?"
Everyone chuckled.
Daryl "little as kicker. you like that? hm? you like that, sweetheart?"
I smiled a little.

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
