"Rose is here! Finn, can you get the door please?" Remi yelled from the office, hoping Finn heard him from the living room. He indeed did hear it and got up from the couch, opening the door and being greeted by an unhappy mother carrying her small child.

"Ivy, no, I already told you why Linx couldn't come with. He needs to train and just doesn't have time be with us!" Rose raised her voice towards the end, her patience wearing thin by having to repeatedly explain to Ivy for the past thirty minutes on why Linx couldn't be with them.

Ivy, getting sick of hearing the same lame reason, started to cry again. Her cheeks and eye bags gaining a sour red shade, snot running down her chin, and her face scrunched up like a prune.

Rose, drained from being a good mother but knowing she must continue being one, took out some more tissues and wiped Ivy's face, giving her soft kisses in between each wipe.

"Do you want some more tissues? It looks like your about to run out..." Rose whipped her head up towards the door, seeing a young man biting his lips, concern and uneasiness written all over his face.

"Oh- yes, sorry, that'd great- Ivy, don't do that or you'll fall," Finn looked over at the red haired girl as she was pushing against her mother's grasp, "and if we can, can we come in? I'm Rose, Linx's Coach- and oh god- this is the right address, yes?" Rose, torn between being a good guest and a good mother, tumbled through her thoughts. Finn quickly nodded, finally understanding that he should do something to help.

Or, get someone else to help.

"Here, I'll just leave the door open and be back real quick!" Finn ran to the office and grabbed Remi, pushing him out to the entrance without explaining anything. But once Remi took one look at the situation, he knew what to do.

"Hi Rose, I'm Remi! And who is this cute little bean? An angle or cutie pie?" Ivy looked up at the tall man, his gentle curly hair and beaming smile reminding her of a bunny. Of course, this only lasted a moment and snot soon began to dribble down again.

"Alrighty, how about the two of us go into my office and we play some games? Or eat some yummy snacks and cuddle? Doesn't that sound like fun?" Remi was mostly asking Rose if this was all okay, and she nodded, allowing for him to scoop Ivy up and retreat in the office.

Rose sighed, exhaustion taking over her body.

And she still had to talk about how to help Linx.

Finn, seeing that he can help now, guided Rose inside the house and lead her to the couch. He turned off the TV, closed the door, and went into the kitchen to pour some cold lemonade.

Trev and Orion came upstairs, wondering why a child was crying in their house. All they saw was a napping Rose, her eyes fluttering open from the approaching footsteps. Her eyes narrowed when she Trev, and she knew her brief nap was over.

She needed to interrogate Trev.

Rose smiled at Orion and grabbed Trev, going back downstairs without a word. Orion, left staring in confusion of what just happened, decided to go grab Kade and Austin since it seems like their guest has arrived.

Back downstairs is an anxious Trev with a poker-faced Rose.

"Did you tell the boys about how you feel about their plan?" Rose stared at Trev's evading eyes, already sensing the answer. Rose waited, as she knew she was going to talk to the boys about how Trev was feeling whether he answered her or not.

"I, uh, didn't get to tell them yet cuz I was planning to tell them while you were here? And, I think Remi and Kade already know how I feel about us watching him, so that's also why I didn't tell them yet..." Trev trailed off, his nails pulling at his skin around his fingers.

"Okay. How about we go upstairs then? I heard some more footsteps from upstairs." Rose started to walk back upstairs as Trev started at her baffled.

He decided to not dwell on her answer and followed her up, and Rose was right. Everybody, expect Remi and Ivy, were sitting on the couch and chatting. The chatting soon sobered down when they noticed Rose, Trev right behind her.

"Ms. Rivera, it's so nice to finally meet you. I'm Kade..." Kade went around introducing everyone, even Remi who wasn't there. Kade asked Austin if he could go get Remi from the office, and he grudgingly agreed.

He got up and walked to the office, but when arriving, it was empty. He checked around the room, looking under both desks that were pressed against the side of the wall, and even behind the baby blue curtains to see if maybe Remi was playing hide n' seek with him.

Austin, unsure of where Remi was, thought to just go back to Kade and get the others to help find him. Though, when passing by Linx's room, he heard high-pitched giggles.

Yet what got him confused wasn't the giggles, but that someone was in Linx's room who wasn't Linx. No one really goes in Linx's room unless they have a reason to go in. Plus, he's not there majority of the time, so there's typically no reason to even bother going in.

But someone was inside.

Austin opened the door and was surprised to see Remi on Linx's bed with a small child on his lap. He examined the room and was happy to see that nothing was out of place, expect the disheveled bed.

"-and there was this one time where Linx was so focused on watching the water boil, that he got spooked when Finn hugged him from behind! He- oh hi Austin! Have you met sweet Ivy yet?" Remi asked with an adorable smile. Or as the boys call it, the teacher smile.

Yes, Remi's a kindergarten teacher. That's why he's the got the patience of a god and the generosity of a priest.

He really is their angel, without him all hell would break lose.

Austin walked in and sat on the edge of the bed, deciding everyone can wait just a little longer so he can spend time with these two lovelies.

"Austin, this is Ivy, Rose's cute little daughter! She's five and loves all animals, the color green, her mom, the playground, Linx, and having sleepovers! Before you came in, I was just telling her all about Linx and how he was before we moved into this house. And I think we were at the part about-"

"-about how you two were going to come and join us in the living room? We we're all just about to talk about Linx, so I really think you should be with us, Remi." Austin didn't want to end this, but knew he must in order to know what they were all going to do with Linx.

"Um, yeah! Ivy, lets go and hang out with everyone else! We can even watch TV there and eat snacks, doesn't that sound great?" Remi grinned from ear to ear, but Ivy didn't look convinced to leave the room.

"How about this instead, if you come to the living room, you can wear one of Linx's shirt." Ivy immediately perked up at that, for she has never worn one of his shirts.

Austin nodded and went to Linx's drawers, going all the way to the bottom where his smaller shirts were. He picked up a marigold colored shirt, perhaps one of the only colored shirts he has.

He tossed it over to the bed, Ivy eagerly grabbing it and attempting to wear it. Remi helped her out and she soon was wearing a short marigold dress.

"Great, lets go. Everyone's waiting."

The three walked down, and joined everyone on the couch. Or more, the boys straddling one another to make sure no one went and sat on the floor.

Ivy just stared at them with a funny face, finding it strange that they didn't just use the stools from the kitchen to give everyone they're own space. But, she didn't mind it and explored the living room.

"Great, now that everyone is here, we can start. First, let's all agree we won't tell Linx about any of this until we feel like we're ready-"

"Sorry to interrupt Kade," Rose gave him a sweet smile, "but what do you mean by when we're ready? I had a little chat with Trev, and it didn't seem like he was fen ready to be part of this. To be part of keeping secrets from Linx while we watch him. So I think we should start on how we act around Linx and when we'll break him the news that his lover boys knows about his secret life."

"Oh, we're not actually his lovers. We're just... his family." Orion responded and Rose raised her eyebrow.

"Then why is he living with six men who are all in one poly relationship, yet not part of it? Doesn't he have parents he can live with, why with you?" Rose didn't see sense of this arrangement.

It was like asking your crush to come to your honeymoon along side your partner. Something is bound to happen with all the mixed signals in the air, no wonder Linx doesn't talk about his family.

They're confusing the poor guy with all the sex they probably have.

"We took him in to relive our parents of some stress. But, this isn't about that- and what do you mean Trev isn't okay with this? I thought we talked about this Trev, you don't need to feel bad about having a different opinion." Kade stared at Trev with concern, who was currently straddling Orion. Trev lowered his head, his cheeks getting pink.

"Trev, why-"

"-why don't we talk about this later, in private, and get back to the topic." Austin intervened, not wanting this to be a lecture to Trev, right in front of their guest nonetheless.

Kade reluctantly nodded, understanding why Austin did it but stressed of why Trev was going back to his bad habits.

"Right, so Rose, what do you propose we do besides watching Linx? Barge in and overwhelm him with the info that his long kept secret was exposed? That would scare him away before we can offer our help. We need to watch from afar and help him when he needs it the most."

"And how will you decide when he needs it the most? And even if you do, you still need to expose yourself that you know the truth to help him. You'll still overwhelm him no matter which route you go, it's just a matter of when you expose yourselves. So, why not do it now then later and risk him hurting himself so much that we can never help him again? Why don't we do it the next match he has? This Thursday?" Rose dropped the bomb and let her idea sink in.

It didn't take long for Austin or Orion to respond, seeing the clear logic to it. Sure, Austin was against it before, but he didn't think of their plan from that perspective. From the view that if they wait too long, they've screwed up with Linx and have failed him.

"Yeah, sounds good."

"Same here, I'm with Rose and Austin."

Rose smiled but could see while Austin and Orion are one of the leaders in their relationship, Kade was the supreme leader of them all. Perhaps it's because he has a cool man bun with a medium stubble beard.

Kade wanted to go with the plan, but Austin's previous reasoning was already stuck in his head and kept him fixed that they should wait. His brain, going haywire at not being able to distinguish logic from emotion, decided to just get feedback from someone else.

"What do you three think? You guys usually follow what we tell you, how about for today you tell us what we should do? Trev?" Kade looked at the slowly reddening Trev, but could see by the way he scrunched up his peachy lips and lowered his head so no one could see his emotion in his eyes.

Trev remained silent.

"Trev. Please?" Trev squinted his eyes at the floor and decided why not? Throw out logic for a moment and let his emotions shine for a change.

"I think... we should go to his next match and confess. All of us."

"And I second that!" Finn popped his head from behind Remi, who was sitting in between in legs.

"And Remi, do you third that?"

"...we're gonna hurt him, aren't we?" Remi, in the softest voice he's ever spoken in, asked.

Everyone stared at him and all had pity smiles, not for Remi, but for themselves. For once they do this, they will never be able to act around Linx the same.

"Yeah, we will. But to fix something, it first must be broken. So for us to help Linx, we'll have to sacrifice his trust in us." Rose, in her tender mother voice, voiced the truth. Any smiles that were shown before, disappeared and fell flat.

"But at least we'll make Linx happy again, right?" Remi, looked up and gave everyone a small, genuine smile. They nodded and Remi nodded back.

"Okay, I'm in."

"And I'll be last to say I'm in too." Kade looked over at Rose, inclining his head forward, letting her take the stage.

Not that she hasn't been doing that for the whole conversation.

"So, his next match is this Thursday, going fifth out ten matches. You can then decide whether or not to watch him compete and then talk to him or wait for him to be done and talk to him straight away. I recommend the latter because he tends to get out of the building quite quick. But then again, watching him fight will give you guys a grasp of his emotions, so there's also that..."

"But can't you stall him if we do the first option? Maybe something about a schedule change or Ivy needing whatever." Austin suggested and Rose furrowed her eyebrows.

"I can try to stall him but I don't want to lie to him any more then I have to. Hiding this from him is making me queasy already, and using Ivy would be too low of me. He'll do anything for her and I don't him to start doubting Ivy." Austin nodded, understanding her logic.

"Okay, but does anyone want to do option two?" Orion voiced out and everyone shook their head.

"Great, so we'll go on Thursday, watch his match to get an understanding of how he's feeling, you'll try to stall him while we come, and then we'll make the big reveal? That sound right to everyone?" Kade asked and no one disagreed. Some actually smiled, glad that they finally have a plan to directly help Linx.

No more waiting, it's time to help him. Whether he likes it or not.
