《The Last Hybrid》7-Full Moon

It has been a few days since I gave Jonathan that potion.
I have no idea if he has been taking it or not.
He has been locked up in his room most of the time.
And I've barely seen him at all today.
Every time I brought him food he would just tell me to leave it outside his door.
Most of the time he wouldn't even eat.
His food would just stay untouched outside his door.
And on top of that Valentine has been restless.
Like she's waiting for something.
Waiting to get out.
I have suppressed her urges this whole time but now it feels like I barely have control over her.
I refuse to let her take control.
She won't get out.
Not this time.
Not again.
I shook my thoughts away before walking to the kitchen.
Maybe he'll open the door for me this time.
I placed a plate of food on a tray along with a cup of water.
If he won't come out I'm breaking in.
I walked up to his room with the tray of food.
I held the tray with one hand and knocked on the door.
"Jonathan?" I spoke.
"Yeah?" He said from the other side of the door.
"Are you hungry? I brought you something to eat."
"A-alright. J-just leave it outside the door."
"Are you sure? It's going to get cold."
"I'm sure. Just leave it outside."
I rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see me.
I put the tray of food on the floor next to the door.
I knocked again. "Jonathan."
"Just leave it outside." He responded.
"That's not why I'm still here." I knocked on the door again.
"What!?" He said annoyed.
"Come out and talk to me face to face."
"No!"
I knocked on the door again. "Why not?"

"Because!"
I knocked again. "Have you been taking your potion medicine?"
"Yes, now go away!"
I knocked again. Harder this time.
My knuckles were starting to turn red.
But I'm just going to keep knocking until I get what I want.
"What!?" He spoke even more annoyed.
"Give me a reason why I shouldn't knock down this door." I said.
"Your grandma would kill you." He responded
"Then open this door so she doesn't kill me."
"No."
"You know what, I don't have to take that chance, I can just use a spell."
"No!"
"Too late, meque ad ostium."
I teleported to the inside of his room.
The lights were off and the curtains were closed.
The entire room was a mess.
Pillows and sheets were on the floor and the lamp was on the floor with a broken bulb.
I had conjured up some more clothes for him but now they were all sprawled out across the floor.
I heard a noise coming from the bed.
I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I know you're there." I said.
"Go away!" He growled.
"Nah I'm good." I said unfazed by his tone.
"Rosie, go away! I'm not asking!"
"And I'm not leaving!"
I grabbed the sheets and yanked it off him.
He looked at me.
His eyes were glowing.
My eyes widened.
His fighting for control.
"Jonathan, What's wrong!?" I said.
"I-its almost nightfall." He answered.
"So?"
"Its the full moon. Rafael wants to get out."
"The full moon has never affected you before. Why does he want control?"
"We've been apart for too long. He wants his mate. By nightfall He will have complete control. I have been fighting him for days!"
"If you keep fighting him it will hurt when you shift. It will feel as if your body is on fire. Like when females go into heat."

He groaned as he fought back against his wolf. "How do you know this!?"
"Because it has happened to me!"
"What!?" He growled.
"That doesn't matter right now. You need to get him under control."
"I don't know how!"
He let out a growl but I know he didn't mean to.
I opened the curtains.
The sun was almost done setting.
"Oh no." I said to myself.
If he was loosing control, I will too.
I casted a spell which made a needle appear in my hand.
I used it and injected myself.
I could feel my wolf disappearing.
I wasn't going to inject Jonathan with wolfs bane so I dropped the needle and crushed it with my shoe.
He would want to use it but I wasn't going to let him.
I looked back to Jonathan.
He was growling violently trying to keep his wolf from surfacing.
I quickly approached him.
I grabbed his face with both hands.
"Stop fighting it." I spoke softly.
"I cant. I don't know what he'll do, especially to you." He responded.
"Listen, if you don't stop fighting him it will feel like you're dying, stop fighting."
"And if something happens to you?" He repeated.
"Don't worry about me. I'm worried about you. Please stop fighting it."
He slowly nodded and took a deep breath.
His bones began cracking as he began to shift into his wolf.
I got off the bed and took a few steps away from him.
his ears began to sprout from the top of his head.
Fur covered his entire body in less than a minute.
the bone structure in his arms and legs shifted and soon became paws.
A long fluffy tail emerged as his nose and mouth took the form of a snout.
Rafael was in complete control.
His eyes landed on me and he growled.
He jumped off the bed and walked slowly towards me.
'You.' His voice appeared in my head.
But it wasn't Jonathan's.
It was his wolf.
'You left me.' He snapped his teeth at me.
He was starting to get really close as I began backing away from him.
'Why!? Why!? Why!? Why did you leave me!?' He growled.
I let out a shaky breath.
'Answer me!' He yelled loudly in my head.
"Lacta artissium rei ad eum." I casted a spell.
It caused one on the sheets in the room to cover him.
He struggled to get out of the sheet.
He used his teeth to rip it to pieces.
He glared at me and growled even louder.
'First you leave me, and now you're casting a spell against your own mate!?' He shouted.
I took a step back but I tripped over the collapsed lamp.
I hit my head on the ground back I shook it off and quickly backed away from the angry alpha in front of me.
Until my back hit a wall.
Rafael stepped over the lamp as he walked closer to me.
His snout was now a few inches away from me.
I took a deep breath.
'Why do I still love you after all you've put me through.'
He collapsed on top of me and buried his wolf face in my neck.
'You're my mate and I can't help but feel relieved that you're safe with me now.'
I relaxed myself and ran my finger through his fur.
'Do you even still care about me?' He asked.
'Of course I do.' I answered.
