《RTTE watches HTTYD》(16) A Heart Attack and... The Ending

The watchers were growling softly, still not calmed down from the last set of images. Mala, Throk, and Dagur all feel a platonic, familial protectiveness over Hiccup. Of course, Ryker and Viggo feel possessive, even obsessively protective over Hiccup.
The growls grow louder.
'Hiccup looks so sad, defeated. I've never seen it before... I don't want to...' Viggo thinks, eyes ablaze in anger and frustration.
Similar thoughts were going through the minds of everyone else.
"He's not a devil." Ryker bit out.
He and Viggo were already willing to let Hiccup keep Toothless before these images were shown to them. Now that they knew just how important, they will also protect the beast; even stop dragon hunting now they knew how deep a bond with one can go.
"Understatement of the century." Throk muttered.
"Leave him alone if you're just going to mock him! He's already been through enough." Dagur growls out.
Mala sighs and looks down. He shouldn't be thinking like that, he was happy with his dragon. It was clear to all he was the outcaste, all alone. All he had was Gobber, and even then, it wasn't all the time. He would have been safe, and properly taught at her tribe. She was also on the lankier side and was still a strong opponent because of the right training.
It seemed like the system at berk was that the parents train their children until dragon training and from there would officially be a part of the raids. It was clear to her that Stoick didn't even try.
Everyone listens intently, they were wondering the same as well.
"Technical-"
"Dagur."
"Yes?"
"Shut up."
"On it."
"No, he was strong. Strong enough to defy a few hundred generations of tradition and culture to find out the true nature of dragons. Even at the risk of losing his entire tribe, family, all he's ever known." Mala said softly.

The watchers all nod, approving of the girl's assessment.
Viggo's eyes went soft with fondness, 'Oh, my dearest Hiccup, what a kind innocent soul you have. Just means I have to protect it all the more.' He looks over at Ryker to see him having the same fond look, they look at each other in the eyes for a moment and nod once again having some silent conversation that only they could understand.
Dagur snorts.
"He's done something both stupid and crazy, he befriended a dragon. Less on the stupid." Ryker quickly added after a glare from Mala.
The watchers look intently at the screen, minds preparing for the slaughter that will surely come to be once the Vikings of Berk arrive.
Mala and Throk's eyes harden at the sight of the once energetic dragon.
Dagur gives another little laugh.
Ryker shakes his head at the terrible attempt to keep the suspicion off Gobber. "If your best, long-time friend that has stood by you is starting to have doubts, isn't that the sign that maybe, just maybe you're doing something incredibly stupid?" Wonders Ryker.
"Sorry Ryker the idiocy stick is so far up his arse, it's affecting his brain." Shadow says in a deadpan.
"That was not an image I needed." Ryker winces.
Dagur breaks into historical giggles, Throk coughs to hide a snort, and Viggo and Mala's mouths are curved into smirks.
The tenseness of the situation hits the room hard.
"God damn it! Just turn back!" Dagur yelled.
"No, keep going." Viggo counters, "If it plays out in our favor, Hiccup loses his tormenters and would be able to influence the tribe as chief with Toothless going back to him on a broken ship." It's all said with a feral smirk.
Dagur laughs insanely at what Viggo's mind came up with. Ryker is sharing the same smirk as Viggo and at that moment one can truly see the resemblance. Mala and Throk try to ignore them while wondering if they should've sat in the back row.

"What..?" Dagur asks dumbly.
The rest were also confused about what Hiccup was doing. Shadow was trying to stifle giggles from the expressions the watchers were making.
Viggo and Ryker growled in warning. Dagur rolled his eyes, 'Possessive wolves they are. As if Hiccup will ever be interested in someone like Ruffnut.'
There were many scowls. They only befriended Hiccup when he 'proved' himself to be 'worthy' of their friendship, that isn't how true friends are made.
"They're getting closer... Get ready for the slaughter." Dagur mutters.
Everyone frowns. 'Why did the buzzing stop, wasn't that how the Queen controlled the dragons?' Was the watchers' thoughts.
"Doesn't matter if you brought the whole island, you'll still lose." Ryker said.
"Again, what is he doing...?" Dagur asks.
"What do you think we're asking?" Ryker says.
Dagur goes to say something, stops at everyone looking at him with their eyebrows raised, and promptly decides to shut up.
Eyebrows went into hairlines.
"You mean we could do the same thing!" Dagur exclaims.
Viggo rolls his eyes, "Yes, Dagur. As long as we stop killing the dragons and treat them well, I don't doubt we could also do it as long as we do it correctly."
"THAT'S HIS BIG PLAN! HE'S GOING TO GET HIMSELF KILLED!" Dagur roars, the watchers tensing up as they also realized Hiccup's big plan.
"Shut up, he's fine. He's still alive for you all to meet him isn't he?" At Shadow's words, the watchers relaxed.
"And then you're going down to it," Dagur says, the rest looks at him, "what? After he dies, he's going straight down to hell." He says it so casually that everyone doesn't say anything and slowly turns back to the screen at different times, some still eye him, of which Dagur is oblivious too.
"With your deaths." Dagur comments yet again.
Shadow doesn't say anything about how Stoick is still alive in their current time.
"HOLY-"
"ODIN'S HEL-"
"WHAT THE FUC-"
Were all shouted by the wonderful Throk, Ryker, and Dagur. Note the sarcasm at the wonderful part.
"THERE WERE MORE!!!" Was shouted once again by Throk, Ryker, and Dagur.
Mala and Viggo glare at them. They are also surprised, but they didn't have to scream about it.
The watchers' bodies locked up on instance, bracing against an invisible foe.
The watchers were stunned speechless, they got a general size from its head but to see its full mass... All their jaws were dropped, eyes wide, eyebrows practically non-existent, and their bodies were limp with shock.
"Holy Odin's Hell..." Dagur said softly, in shock.
No one said anything else.
They all sat there and watched the carnage. No matter how much they tried, they couldn't prepare themselves. They thought the Queen would just send out her armada of dragons, they would have won if what they saw before was correct. No one expected to see the Queen slaughtering the Vikings.
Everyone in the room was a leader in some way, to see the only exit get destroyed was a punch to the gut. What if that happened to them not knowing what was awaiting them, 'They would either die from the queen or starvation.' Everyone thought quietly.
"You were, you didn't listen to the only one who had even seen the nest." Viggo mutters.
