《RTTE watches HTTYD》(13) Awkward...

Many raise a brow, noticing Stoick usually waits until Hiccup gets back to the house to talk.
Dagur snorts, 'like that works.'
Suddenly everyone's breath gets stuck, they don't know when Stoick finds out. 'Could this be it?'
Dagur snorts again, remembering all the times Hiccup got away with stuff. Stoick has used that line before when he occasionally catches Hiccup but doesn't think it's bad enough for a lecture. He knows nothing is going to happen.
Many tense, Dagur and Shadow just lay back and relaxe.
Dagur just sighs, while the rest of the watchers get confused. Shadows the supervisor, not a watcher.
Throk scrunched his face up in confusion. "I was under the impression Stoick hates dragons?"
"He does at this time." Dagur responded.
"But how-" Dagur cuts off Throk and just points at the screen, already guessing what's about to happen.
Dagur sighs again, his body sagging with it this time. Throk lets out an "oh", somewhat meekly.
Viggo and Ryker frown.
Dagur glares at the screen for a second, before relaxing into his normal posture. Viggo and Ryker's brows furrow, wondering why no one thinks to be gentler with someone more than twice as small as them.
"He didn't just say that right?" Mala asked, disbelief in her eyes.
"He did, and it's a classic Stoick move too." Says Dagur.
"Stoick says things like this most of the time?" Viggo asks, face deceptively calm.
"Yep, at least when I was visiting, he might have toned it down or Hiccup got good at avoiding having conversations with him. Having most of their conversations be either lectures or arguments didn't help matters either." Dagur said, a frown present on his face; he's thinking if he will need to do anything extra to help his brother.

Viggo nods and sits rigidly in his chair. 'Maybe the reason he likes that Astrid girl is because of the negative influence, not wanting to be seen as even more of a failure. That and remember Astrid is the only respectable girl Hiccup's age in comparison to Ruffnut.'
"Not likely, all those awful conversations are probably rearing their ugly head. And if they're not fighting or spewing out degrading comments with no regard then it gets really awkward where neither of them says anything and then stumble over each other's words." Dagur says.
Dagur raises a brow.
'Maybe he's finally doing something rig-.'
'Never mind.' Mala narrows her eyes, no self-respecting woman wants their breast plat to be used to decorate a man's Viking helmet.
All the males grimace along with Hiccup.
Everyone can agree that the scene is awkward.
"Told yeah"
"Yes, Dagur we know."
"Just pointing it out."
"A little aggressive there, don't ya think."
"I'm pretty sure we all think that Dagur."
"I'm just saying!"
"He's gonna win."
"We all know that Dagur."
"I'm just saying! Sheesh."
"Nope, sorry honey. Hiccups saving people and dragons complex will always get in your or anybody looking to hurt people and dragons' way."
Viggo sends a glare Dagur's way for interrupting the images; Dagur ignores him.
"Of course he is, he now has to go against the Monstrous Nightmare in an open arena, unable to do any of his calming dragon techniques."
"We know Dagur!"
"I'M JUST SAYING!"
"Say it in your head then! Some of us are actually trying to watch the images without interruption!" Dagur glares but eventually slumps in his chair, pouting.
Ryker lifts a brow at the language.
Throk just shakes his head, of course, it wouldn't be that easy.

"Don't women now to keep their tempers in che-" Throk cuts himself off when he looks at Mala, who simply raises a brow, "Shutting up now." Mala nods, satisfied.
Everyone wisely keeps silent about the glare, for a similar but deadlier one is being pointed at them.
"Please do brother! The rest aren't good for you! Can't let them corrupt your sweet innocent mind!"
"Oh no." Was accurately summed up by Dagur.
"Brother! You're just making it obvious you're up to something! We really got to get you to lie better."
"Considering he's able to keep something as big as befriending his village's supposed mortal enemy hidden for that long, I don't think he needs to. So quite your whining."
"That's only because the Village is dumb." Dagur finishes.
Throk considers slapping himself in the face again.
Throk decides to slap himself in the face.
"With that horrible lie?! You had that coming!" was heard from Throk.
Viggo shakes his head. Even Ryker is frowning at the horrible excuse Hiccup tried to make.
Mala raises an eyebrow at the tactic. Throk glances over at her nervously.
"And, it's serious now." Dagur drags out the "and".
Viggo raises an eyebrow at the sudden change.
Dagur's mouth drops open in shock.
"Yeah right. Hiccup just doesn't want anyone killed." We can all guess who said that.
"That's actually correct." Everybody turned their heads towards Viggo, confusion visible.
"Think about it. From Toothless' point of, Astrid came into his territory, which he didn't mind considering he didn't do anything until then. Then Hiccup comes into the cove, unaware of the invader, who fixes him with a menacing glare and after some type of interaction, proceeds to hurt Hiccup even after he was down. Hiccup didn't get up right away and Toothless didn't know if Astrid would try something again so tried to either scare her off or get rid of her." Was explained to the disbelief on the rest of the watcher's faces.
Mala eventually nodded, "It makes sense, Astrid was an unknown so didn't know if she meant true harm. He knew the Terrible Terrors wouldn't harm Hiccup so he left them alone as long as they didn't take his food."
"Yes, we've been through this already."
"Dagur, you know they can't hear you? Right?" There was no response.
Throk rolls his eyes, 'The only other sentient being with you currently? Just Maybe?'
"That's not good."
"We know Dagur."
"Back to sleep?"
"Dagur."
"Yes?"
"Shut up."
With that final statement, the Watchers are ready for the next set of images. 'Weeell, maybe not Viggo and Ryker. Expect a lot of growling.' Shadow thought to themselves, will they need to tie them down?

A-Live AI
The year is 2247. For almost two hundred years Sentient AI research has been banned. Everyone knew this, and yet no one has ever given up on finding the perfect setup for it. Restricted AI are rare, but possible to get ahold of if you have the money and the clout to get through the law for it. Especially when it deals with the military. Alfred Homis is an engineer and has spent the last three years working for the United Terran Military's Research and Exploration Department. Specifically to help build a 'shackled' AI who's prime directive was to explore potentially habitable worlds. Worlds that are far cheaper to colonize and add to the United Terran Directorate's fold than terraforming. During the AI's maiden voyage things go horribly wrong, taking Alfred Homis along for the ride. Thrown into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are just a little messed up, Alfred finds himself trapped inside the very machine he'd helped to build. Add magic, hostile fantasy creatures, and two different pantheons of 'Gods' to the mix and things get even more complicated. Oh, and an invasion between universes to boot. But that's just all in a days work though for Alfred, the AI Lord. Authors Note: Hi guys! Long time no see. And yes, I know that's all on me. But I blame life for that. Anyway, this is my new work, and I hope you guys enjoy it! The chapters are a little shorter than I'd previously posted in my other stories, but I cannot say that I have the same amount of time or energy to write them like that anymore. Sorry about that. Still, some warnings: There is cursing in this story. I am not going to edit it out. There will be sexual content later. Blood, gore and cruel depictions are all planned. If that isn't your thing, I'd suggest you turn back now. There is also my dry, and often not-so-funny sense of humor. And oh, it's all in first person gain. Haha. I just tend to write better that way. If none of that bothers you, then enjoy the read! Feel free to comment, point out mistakes, or make suggestions! Reviews are nice too, but please lay off the criticism until the story gets good and going. Thank you. Note 1: Some edits to the synopsis.

Hymn of Ignis
If a man is told to walk from the moment of his awakening to the world, what will he do? He will walk. What if along his path he stumbles and falls? He will get up, and walk. What if along his path others bar the way? He will push through, and walk. What if along his path a storm hinders his passage? He will overcome it, and walk. What if along his path the sky changes color and light no longer guides the way? He will remain on his path, and walk. What if along his path the very ground gives way to oblivion? He will press on, and walk. What if along his path he becomes more than a man? Will he stop? Release schedule will be either weekly, or biweekly, depending on the time I have available. Hopefully that will change for the better along the way. As for the story itself, opinions matter a lot! I appreciate both soft, and hard criticism, so don't hold your punches.
