Excuse any mistakes!
"What are you doing tonight?" I looked up for a brief moment seeing Lilo taking a seat next to me.
"Minding my business."
"Let's have a girl's night. I know we just met but I don't have any friends and you seem like you know how to have fun."
"No, thank you." I stood up from the table moving to another table.
"Sorry for bothering you." The look on her face made me feel bad but I ignored it and continued writing down notes.
"You guys are free to go. Don't forget about the essays due Sunday night. Have a great day." The professor dismissed us. I grabbed my things heading out the door.
As I'm walking out of the building I could hear yelling. It sounded pretty intense. Even though I wanted to be noisy, I decided to mind mines.
"Don't grab me like that!" A familiar voice yelled. Stopping to open my door I looked to my left seeing Lilo arguing with some guy. I'm assuming maybe her boyfriend. He grabbed her arm roughly trying to pull her into the car. I sighed going over in their direction.
"You're hurting her! Don't grab her like that."
"Who the fuck are you? Get away from my car"
"Luna, I'm okay." She looked scared.
"No, it's not. He shouldn't be manhandling you."
"It's okay, please." She begged me with pleading eyes as her boyfriend bug me. I threw my hands up backing away. If she doesn't want help then there was nothing I could do about it.
Getting into my car, I drove away. I decided to go to Walmart to get groceries for my apartment. My fridge has been empty for a couple of days. The trip was silent, to say the least. As I was turning down an aisle I passed a girl who looked about 10. She seemed lost.
"Are you lost?"
Her head perked up. "Yes! I'm looking for the bathroom."
"You passed the bathroom. It's right there."
"I-I can you help me? I'm blind and I don't know what right there is."
"Oh, I'm sorry." I grabbed her hand leading her the way. "Where are your parents?"
"I'm here with my brother. I told him I was a big girl and could find a bathroom myself but that didn't work out." She laughed.
"You almost had it. How old are you?"
"13 and three quarters. What about you?"
"22 and 2 quarters." I mimicked her tone stopping right in front of the restrooms. "Here's your stop. Do you need help?"
"I got it from here."
"Well, I'll wait out here for you."
"Okay." She went inside. I waited for about 5 minutes before she came out.
"Everything good?"
She nodded. "My brother was looking at the games. Pretty sure he's still over there."
I took her over there and seen a boy with his bad faced towards us.
"Zae." He turns around here his name. He looked confused seeing her holding my hand and smirked. Now, it was my turn to be confused.

"I was about to call my search team for you, Jordyn. Did you get lost? This is why I wanted to help you."
"'My new friend helped me. Zae this is- Wait, what's your name?" She whispered causing us to laugh.
"Luna."
"This is Luna."
"We've met before." He was still giving me that smirk.
"Really? This is amazing. Well, Zae is single. Are you single, Luna?" She questioned really fast. I thought she was adorable.
"I don't need you playing love doctor Jordyn. I can handle my own."
"Sorry, just get her number. I'll be talking to mom. Siri, call mom." She walked away leaving us in an awkward silence. He stuck his hands in his pockets looking down. I let out a whistle looking around.
"So, what about that number?"
I scrunched up my face. "What are you talking about?"
"You told me the next time we see each other I could get your number."
"I lied, you have a good one. Bye, Jordyn." I pushed the cart trying to get away from him.
He grabbed my arm. "Wait! Why can't I get to know you?"
"Because I have a lot of shit going on in my life and it wouldn't be fair to you. I rather save you all the trouble, okay?"
"I'm a grown ass man. Let me decide for myself. Let's go out tonight?" He suggested.
I shook my head. "I have a ton of homework."
"I use to be a tutor in high school, I can help you out."
"Then I have to cook dinner." I gestured to my cart filled up with food.
"Stop making excuses. All I need is an hour with you. You won't regret it, I promise."
"Fine hut only 30 minutes." I said as the smile vanished from his face.
"I said an hour. Stop playing." He laughed coming closer to me. His hand went into my pocket pulling out my phone. "What's your password?"
"That was rude." I snatched my phone back unlocking it. I gave him back the phone watching him put his number in and then call himself. "What are we going to on a Thursday night anyway?"
"Don't worry about that. I'll call you later with the details."
"Okay." I hurried off not believing I just gave him my number and agreed to a date. This is not like me at all. I was in need of a whole bottle of wine
______
"What the hell?" I'm on the road checking my phone to see if this was the right place. It was an old building. There were no lights that I could see. I checked my bag making sure I have my gun on me. I could not get caught slipping.
Locking my door I proceeded walking up to the door of the building. I knocked and waited a few seconds for him to open. He came out with a cheesy smile on his face.
"I was starting to think you wouldn't show."
"What is this place?" I questioned.

"Be patient. You'll see it soon." He took my hand leading us into the dark building.
"Are you trying to kill me? You won't succeed." I warned.
He laughed. "Nah, look."
The lights cut on in the room was amazing. It looked like a big studio apartment. He had props, backdrops, lights, the whole nine. His artwork was all over the wall. It didn't seem like it will be this nice from the outside.
"You have a whole set up in here. This is nice as hell."
"Thank you. I thought maybe we could chill here and eat dinner." He had a kitchen area and it was filled with lit candles. The table was set with two plates of food and two glasses with a bottle of wine next to it.
"Did you cook this?"
He nodded. "This is unfortunately all I can make."
"It looks good." I laughed as he helps me sit down. He then sat across from me giving me a look. We sat in silence for a while. As I reached to take a bite, he slapped my hand. "Ouch!"
"You didn't pray."
"Right." I mumbled bowing my head saying a small prayer. He smiled once I raised my head back up.
"Tell me about yourself."
"What do you want to know?"
He shrugged. "Anything."
"Not much to tell."
"You're bad at this." He picked up the glass drinking out of it.
"Well, excuse me. I've never been on a date before. This is all new to me."
"You're beautiful as hell and you've never been on a date? That's hard to believe."
"It's not my thing. I usually just fuck and leave." I said casually scooping up some of the spaghetti on the fork. He choked looking at me in shock.
"You're blunt."
"How old are you?"
"20."
I looked at him in disbelief. "Wow, you look older."
"How old are you?"
"22, I'll be 23 on June 8th."
"So, you're a Gemini? That explains why you're so mean."
"I'm just guarded. I have to protect myself."
"From what?"
"How long have you been a photographer?" I changed the subject. He let out a laugh but answered the question.
"Since I was 16. This was my dad's studio then he gave it to me to pursue my dreams."
"That's nice. You work with a lot of people?" I asked and he nodded. "Let's take some pictures. I model from time to time, so I wanna see if you're any good."
"Come on." He immediately stood up and went to grab his camera. I finished my glass of wine taking off my jacket. I stood in front of a black backdrop.
"How is this?" I bit my lip.
"It's good. Try some different poses for me." I thought about it for a minute. I took off my shoes, sliding off my pants. I noticed he put his camera down swallowing hard. "Whatcha doing?"
"When I'm doing photoshoots most of the time I'm naked or almost naked. I'm just getting comfortable."
"Okay, whatever works best for you."
I did a couple of sexy poses then decided to take off my shirt. I had all this burgundy Victoria's Secret set. I kept eye contact with him. Something about the way his jaw ticked put me in the mood.
"These are amazing. Give me a couple more poses."
I nodded doing so. He bit his bottom lip putting down the camera approaching me slowly.
"Done?"
He nodded. "Take a look."
"They're perfect. I think you might have to be my new personal photographer."
"That can happen. You smoke?"
"Hell no, it makes me paranoid." I said making him laugh. He went over pulling out a large bag of weed taking a seat on the couch he had in here and I follow behind.
"Just one hit." I watched him roll up a blunt. Once he was finished, he lit it up taking some puffs then he passed it to me. I exhaled taking it from him. I took one hit and gave me back quickly.
"No more."
"Stop being pussy." That made me laugh a little because I always say this to East. He was pulling a me on me.
"I'm not being pussy." I snatched it back from him taking several pulls. He's smirked watching me.
"You sexy as fuck."
"I know." Just from the little puffs I took, I could feel my high kicking in.
"Come here."
"For what?"
"Just come here, girl." He grabbed my arm pulling my body into his. He took a puff for the blunt blowing the smoke into my mouth. I inhaled pulling back. He looked at me with low eyes as his hands slide down to my butt caressing it.
Our eyes met as his face inched closer to mine. I could feel my heart rate picking up. He leaned in and I moved causing his lips to land on my cheek.
"You just gone curve me like that?"
"I don't kiss."
"Oh yeah?" He gripped my face crashing his lips hungrily into mine. My eyes widened in shock. His lips were so soft as I gave in kissing back. Our lips moved in sync. I could feel him smile in the kiss as he pulled back.
"I thought you didn't kiss?"
"Shut up, you made me."
"But you kissed back." For the rest of the night, we continued to talk. I was enjoying myself for the first time in a long time.
I groaned trying to roll over but hands wrapped around my waist stopped me. I looked down and Zae was cuddled into my side with his head on my chest. I didn't have my clothes back on. This was very bad
"Oh no, no, no." I panicked removing his hands. I checked my phone seeing it was 3 in the afternoon. How the hell did I sleep that long? Tonight was the night I go to the Blue Flame for more information about my dad. I needed to map out how everything was going to go, not laid up right now.
"Where are you going?" He sat up rubbing his eyes.
"Home, I wasn't supposed to sleep here!" I yelled slipping on my clothes and shoes. "Where are my keys?!"
"Right there on the table. Are you going to call me?"
"Maybe not." I rushed out getting into my car driving away.
