"One week in the mountains?" Sangyeon asked. "It's not even winter? It's autumn."

"Complain again and I'm leaving you home."

"Sorry, Y/N~"

He didn't sound sorry. Not one bit. But I decided to forgive him because he was such a teddy bear. I told them to pack their stuff which they did. But of course they started to fight while doing so. They didn't want to bring the same stuff as someone else and blocked the corridors with their bags. I focused on packing food. We wouldn't be near a store for a week and feeding both me and the eleven hybrids would be hard. We got away a few days later. They packed themselves into the bus and I started driving. They were nagging each other like usual and I didn't know how to stop them. As long as they didn’t hurt each other I decided to let them be.

“Y/N”, Changmin suddenly said. “I’m hungry.”

“Here, have this”, Jacob said and gave him some nuts. “Y/N, do you want some?”

“No, I’m good. Eat that yourselves”, I said.

I turned back to the road and didn’t stop until we were at the cabin in the mountains. We were surrounded by woods, but not a normal forest. This was emptier since not many things could grow up here.

“Finally!” we groaned when we got let out of the bus. “We’re out.”

“You sure we’re all alone out here?” I wondered.

“A hundred percent”, Y/N said.

I shook Juyeon’s shoulder.

“We can get Y/N easier”, I whispered.

He nodded nonchalantly and leaned into my ear.

“We have a week”, he answered and then looked at Y/N. “Do you need help?”

“Yes, please”, she answered.

Of course we helped. Y/N was not going to carry all of that herself. When coming into the cabin, we noticed that there were a few bedrooms and then one master bedroom. I knew that letting one of the predators to sleep there with her would be the best choice. If she got a nightmare or if something happened, we could help her. I gathered the predators and we started discussing.

“Kevin?” I said.

“I honestly think Juyeon should”, Kevin said. “I’ll probably have my heat soon.”

“Why me? I’ll have it soon too”, Juyeon said.

“I’m not doing it, I’ve already started my heat”, Eric said.

“What?” I asked. “When?”

“Yesterday. I haven’t told Y/N. I was scared I wouldn’t be able to come along.”

“You need to tell her now! What if you do something?”, I said and pushed him away.

“What about you, Younghoon?”

“Heat.”

“So all of us are going into heat?” Kevin sighed.

“Fine, I’ll do it. I’ll be careful”, Juyeon said.

I walked into the master bedroom.

“Y/N, I can sleep here, right?” I asked.

“Sure”, she smiled. “Choose your side.”

I smiled and laid down on the bed, watching she pick up her clothes.

“Y/N…”, I said silently. “The predators will be going into heat soon...and maybe the others too.”

“Again? It wasn’t long ago you were in heat!”

“We’ll be fine, although you might want to give Eric a pill.”

“I’ve already done that. If all of you do go into heat, I’ll fix it for you. Don’t be worried.”

“Thank you, Y/N. B-But aren’t you scared?”

“No, you wouldn’t hurt me.”

“You’re right.”
