I woke up the next morning and went down to make breakfast.

Where’s the big knife?

“Guys!” I shouted. “Has anyone seen the big knife I use for meat?”

“I have it”, Younghoon said.

“Why?”

“I felt unsafe...so I put it under my pillow.”

I sighed and put my hand on his cheek. He pouted and looked down at me.

“Why were you afraid? You have so many people that will protect you…”, I said.

“I know...I just…”

I hugged him and he hugged back tightly.

“Don’t be scared”, I said. “You’re safe, okay?”

He smiled slightly.

Later that day, we were sitting out in the yard, just enjoying the day. Me, Kevin and Eric were sitting on a blanket, resting in the shadow of a big tree.

“Kevin, I know that you don’t dare go flirt with any of us like you flirt with Y/N”, Eric said mockingly.

“Oh, yeah?” Kevin asked cockily. “Tell me who and I will do it.”

Eric looked around, seeing Jacob and Jaehyun play.

“Jacob”, Eric said with a smirk.

“Alright.” Kevin jumped up from the ground and walked over to Jacob.

We couldn’t hear what he said, but we could see on Jacob’s face that it was something bad. His eyes were wide and so were Jaehyun’s. Jacob’s cheeks got red and he froze. Kevin hurried to run back. Eric was laughing like never before. I was afraid of laughing because I didn’t want to hurt Kevin’s feelings.

“Juyeon now”, Eric smiled.

“He’ll kill me…”

“Exactly! Go now!”

Kevin walked over to Juyeon and I could tell by how his tail stood, he was scared to death. Juyeon scoffed and turned his back to him. Kevin walked back to us.

“What did he say?” I asked.

“He said that I was pathetic”, Kevin said, smiling slightly in something I would recognize as pain. “Am I?”

“You’re not, Kevin”, I said gently. “You’re perfect.”

“Perfect? Don’t lie”, Eric laughed.

“Eric, stop.”

Everyone had gone into the house by now but me and Jacob. We were still playing in the backyard with a ball we had found. That was when we saw Jen storming towards us. Both me and Jacob knew that Y/N couldn't see her because she would start talking about her dead brother, accusing us. I dropped the ball as we hurried up to her.

"What are you doing here?" Jacob asked.

"What have you done with him?!"

"Shh, please-", I tried, but she was hearing none of it.

Me and Jacob tried to hold her still, but she was doing her best to get out of our grip.

"Younghoon!" I shouted.

Younghoon hurried out with Kevin behind him. He didn't seem surprised to see Jen here. She broke free from me and Jacob, hitting us in the act.

"Don't hurt them", Younghoon said darkly.

We walked over to Younghoon and Kevin.

"You okay?" Younghoon asked quietly to us and we nodded. "Get inside."

Neither me and Jacob wanted to stay outside any longer, but we didn't want to leave them alone, so we hid behind the corner to listen.

"You need to leave", Kevin said sternly.

"No, I know that one of you motherfuckers has done something with my brother! I will tell Y/N what kind of sick freaks you are!"

Juyeon and Eric came out, passing us. The younger one told us to get in as well, but we didn't.

"You need to go before Y/N hears you", Juyeon said coldly to Jen.

"I won't."

"Don't be stupid", Eric scoffed. "We're trying to save you here. If you don't leave now, never contact Y/N again and never tell a soul, we won't do anything to you. You'll be able to live peacefully the rest of your life. Your decision."

"You're monsters."

"Decide."

Jen involuntarily left. Me and Jacob peeked out from behind the corner and Younghoon noticed us.

"What are you doing?" he laughed sweetly. "I told you to get in, didn't I?"
